Steak in the beef salad was tender and perfectly coated in the passionfruit vinaigrette! Salmon bene was amazing and the wedges were nice and crispy on the outside but soft in the middle. Perfect brunch spot

I had the pancakes, and it was clear - just from seeing them - that the kitchen staff are doing this work because they want to delight. That observation was soon confirmed by actually eating them; the bananas were grilled to perfection, the portions of each ingredient were superbly balanced, the cook on the bacon and pancakes bang on, and the eating experience was delightful - all the way to the very last bite. Great service and good coffee too. Highly recommended!

Visited Friday morning around 10:30am, cafe has both indoor and outdoor seats. Vaccine passports scanned by staff at counter. We had blueberry yogurt muffin and pancakes with coffees. Food fresh and tasty. Food brought out quickly and staff friendly. Nice place.

The passion fruit dressing on the chicken salad was sublime. Fettuccine with mushroom packed with smooth and deep flavor. Excellent service from order taker. However the Asian woman literally dumped /banged the food on our table. Over three visits I have found her behavior bordering on rude. Absolutely needs some customer service training to match with the delicious food and excellent service by her colleagues!

I've been coming here for years with my Mum and the have the best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Lovely staff and atmosphere with large portions and delicious food. It works very well with the garden centre next door because of the plant life and name. Honestly, I couldn't recommend enough.

I love coming here, especially when it's sunny. The outside garden is so lovely to sit in. The food was delicious and the coffee good but I prefer it to be stronger. Definitely come again.

I highly recommend the omelettes here. The best value in the Wellington area by far. Coffee is good and they have a nice fire to sit by on a cold Wellington day. Lots of room inside and on a nice day plenty of outdoor seating as well. Service is good too and cabinet food is ok as well. But the omelettes - they are something else!

It's a great cafe next to a fantastic garden centre. Great, consistent and generous food. A few more options for kids would be good but it's not too bad a selection. Good cabinet options as well as menu and drinks options.

I got a nice iced coffee for just under $7. The staff are nice and the cafe is clean and comfortable. There's outdoor seating and dogs are welcome. The garden centre next door has a nice gift area and the garden area is great. A good place to visit after filling up at Cafe thyme.

A really good Cafe, food was reasonably priced and came out really fast. The Cafe it's self was trendy and had a section of the roof missing to show exposed beams which was very creative. Coffee and food was really good and stuff were friendly. During busier hours it may be hard to find a park however does not take away from the experience of having brunch or a coffee at Thyme Cafe.

Really nice fries that I had. There was both tomato sauce and aioli and they were both nice. The service was really good and we got both of our meals within a few minutes. Is a really nice location and so would recommend 😀

Good service and product. Only issue was we were there in the late after noon and our table was cleared while some of us were still eating. This made us feel as if we need to hurry out . It may have been better to remind us that they were closing in ten minutes. We did know this.

It's a cosy place, nicely situated next to Twiglands the garden centre. The acoustics aren't that great, however, and it can be quite noisy if packed. Plus, in the lead up to closing time, I wish they wouldn't put up chairs on tables which can be perceived as a tad rude. It would be beer to put signage on the doors or give more subtle signs of closing IMHO

Absolutely awesome cafe. Everytime I have been here the food has been fantastic. I especially enjoy the eggs benedict which includes a delicious hash brown on the side and the most amazing hollandaise sauce. The coffee is consistently great too. I always get a bowl of cappuccino and have never been disappointed yet. The staff are always friendly and smiling too so overall a great little cafe. Highly recommended.

I always enjoy going back to Thyme. The menu is fairly standard but delicious and they add little additions to many of the meals such as hash brown with the eggs benedict etc. The outdoor seating is pleasant and it is dog friendly. It's certainly worth a visit!
