N.Love love love Havana Coffee Works! Great coffee, great cafe, great staff. Always a must stop when in Wellington, but when in Melbourne we order our coffee from Havana and have it shipped over. Everything is great!

Beautiful range of aromatic coffees to cold brews and shakes, has a small bakery selection and chocolate range to complement.
The roastery has anything and everything, beans ground to order. You can see the entire team hard at work too, keep up the good work guys!

H.I went their coffee station at the Wellington train station and got long black. Their beans taste like somehow too much acid for me and I think I prefer mild taste instead of this. Staff is not too friendly there but is high effcient. Maybe I will try other beans but so far not a big fan of it.
L.The Best Coffee in Wellington therefore the best in New Zealand. I recently had coffee in the over-hyped about Wairarapa Valley and it was rubbish as was the food there : overpriced and poor quality. Havana has great people and excellent coffee. My favourite coffee bar.

O.Nice decor and huge windows overlooking the street make this place welcoming. Coffee is very tasty and vegan bakery products are available to make coffee experience even nicer. I loved their take away cups design. Whenever I saw it later on in New Zealand it meant good coffee to me.
R.As a fan of Havana coffee for more than 10 years, I was well overdue to visit their premises on Tory Street for the first time since they moved the coffee roasting here a few years ago. I’m certainly no interior design expert, but I’d describe it as Cuban grunge, with comfortable seating in the pretty small space that they have. While the team takes their coffee business pretty seriously, they don’t take themselves too seriously, and this is evidenced by the adornments in the upstairs toilet - take a look for yourself. The girls on the coffee bar were both polite and friendly, and took time to chat during a relatively quiet time of the morning. Food options are limited to homemade pies, plus a range of sweet slices and treats (all outsourced, I’m guessing, as I didn’t see any evidence of a kitchen, chef or baker). As for the coffee, it was spot on, and most enjoyable.
J.Great coffee and so fresh very interesting building I could go to this coffee place everyday if I would live there I just planned to look around this charming place however I couldn’t resist the nice coffee smell and bought and brought the pack of coffee bean to my home country it was the best choice and I can say it is the best coffee that I have ever tried

The pastries and bites could be more varied. I had a berry muffin and it was really good, the whipped coconut cream on top was heavenly, asides from there wasn’t much else to eat.
The staff was attentive but not really friendly.
You can visit their roasting room and buy yourself a nice bag, they also sell them in supermarkets.
J.Even if you don't drink coffee (I don't) you will LOVE this place! The Cuban details are authentic and beautifully done. While I've been visiting Wellington I've stopped in regularly. They gave me a tour and it was really interesting to see and hear about their roasting process. Delicious hot chocolate and local organic ginger beer. Trendy look with a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Everyone who works there, including the owner, are so inviting, helpful, and fun to chat with! They make you feel like part of the Havana family.

A.Havana coffee is absolutely delicious. Their blend called 5 star is unreal. While visiting Wellington I made the trip in every day just to have the coffee. The staff are so amazing and friendly, as well, the coffee roaster took the time to show my boyfriend and I around and explain all about where the beans come from and how they are roasted. I would definitely recommend stopping in, you will not regret it!
A.Probably my fault for ordering the wrong thing, but I ordered a hot chocolate which was actually pretty generic, not sweet at all, so just a hot drink with a little bit of flavour.
I ended up having to put a ton of sugar in it to give it a taste.
My friend did order a coffee that he said was actually pretty nice, but there was absolutely no pastries at all, so food was very limited here. Overall, wasn't the best choice to come for an early lunch/coffee.

C.Awesome cafe, located just around corner from Pukeahu war memorial museum.not only can you enjoy one of the best coffees in town with a meal but you can also visit the coffee brew house on site.The aroma of coffee beans is intoxicating and you can’t help but leave with a fresh bag of coffee beans under your arm . The decor is Cuban chique and very relaxing. It’s all about the coffee here.

J.Awesome reproduction of post 1962 Cuban missile crises when Havana was the night club capital of USA during prohabition. Driving past when we saw the cafe and decided to try the place for afternoon coffee. Lovely female staff member took my friend and I on a guided tour of the factory reproduction of Cuba.
L.If you are looking for a cafe with a unique and trendy vibe this is the place. Love the concept and the roastery that greets you at the door is a really cool touch. The espresso is strong but good.
