Great brunch spot, highly recommend. Staff were nice, service was prompt, and food was delicious. Breakfast bagel was incredible, it was very flavourful and was a decent size. Eggs bene was also great with a unique and tasty hash brown base. This spot is quite busy at brunch time so be prepared to wait a little bit before getting a seat.

I visited Neo cafe yesterday with my granddaughter. The place was busy and the atmosphere buzzy. We both loved our meals. My granddaughter had the potato salad and I had the avocado on toast. The service was excellent. When we are in Wellington again, Neo will certainly get a visit.

Some of the best pancakes I've had out! I do wish there were slightly more Vegan options as the Vegan breakfast wasnt that big... nor did the other two Vegan options seem. But the taste was great overall (the fries too)! Serves Supreme Coffee, pretty good!

Great wee Cafe, awesome window bench seat to sit and work / study. Good food but a bit more on the expensive side, even for welly - and good coffee if not the best in the city. Overall fantastic atmosphere and service is always super friendly and welcoming.

We went to breakfast, not expecting much but knowing it was an award winner. I had the apple crumble pancakes and was absolutely blown away. The flavours fit together like a jigsaw puzzle, I nearly asked if I could get a takeaway container of the crumble pieces! I highly recommend this place if you're ever on willis Street!!!

Returning customer from out of town - I figured it must be a great place when it was busy at brunch time on a MONDAY!!!! Service was quick and friendly. The filter coffee was yum and better than the espresso imo. The food was frickin unreal - they've changed up the pancakes to banoffee buttermilk with salted caramel. AMAZING! Avo on toast was also great, but those pancakes 👏👏 🤤

A nice brunch spot. Portions were not the biggest but it did fill me up. The coffee was good but the matcha latte is not what you would expect, rather it’s just blended up green tea leaves (as the waitress was not sure herself, just told me it’s blended up tea) ?! It had black pieces in the drink which I didn’t expect. Regardless, would still recommend trying it out.

Neo was top rated by Google. I can definitely see why. The Cafe was full and, a line of dinners waiting. I Ordered the Veggie Feast. It was AMAZING! Each individual component was tasty, Together it was deliciously scrumptious. I also ordered the granola to takeaway. It too was yummy. Would definitely recommend this delight of an eatery 🥰

A really nice place for brunch. They nailed the ambience of what brunch would feel like. Their food was amazing. At least the grilled salmon egg benedict that I had was really good, everything was done perfectly, seared to the perfect crispiness. I also tried the mushroom on toast and pancakes. They were not as well. Food wise I would say the fried fell short. Drinks wise I don't drink coffee so I am not sure. Tried the chocolate milkshake, it was as it's expected. The matcha latte was the most horrible drink I have ever had, flavourless with bits of chunks in there that didn't even resemble matcha. Just steamed milk would be better. Probably would send it back if I didn't have friends with me. Staff say friendly. If it wasn't for the horrible drink i would given it 5 stars. Maybe order something else or no drinks at all

I finally got around to visiting Neo Café, and loved it. The staff are relaxed, professional and friendly. The menu and counter food all looked delicious. The dishes we chose for brunch were beautifully presented and very yummy. Thanks to all the team at Neo!

Always a long queue out front. A busy cafe with tight seating. I don’t quite understand why it’s so crowded here but they do serve decent food options. Their flat white is not up to the high Wellingtonian standard though.. my wife’s chai latte was actually so weak we had to send it back...

We ordered via UberEats the keto feast with scrambled eggs (coeliac-friendly gluten free) and chocolate pancakes (for non-coeliac person) and a side of streaky bacon. Made a great, filling breakfast at our hotel in Wellington before a big day of sightseeing. I think the chocolate chip pancakes were gluten free as well. Would definitely order again!

SUPERB. The whole place was packed when we got there, which was just after 10 in the morning. Says a lot about the place. People were patiently waiting in line for a seat. DEFINITELY GET THE PANCAKES. Staff are great. Food is great. Good start for a day. Dont leave Welly without trying their food. Keep it up Neo team!

Presentation for the packages was amazing! This pancakes are a dish full of surprise flavors that I was not expecting! This pancakes come with a cinnamon spicy butter, feta cheese, crispy maple bacon and really fluffy pumpkin pancakes. The combination of flavors was different from other pancakes I have try. I totally recommend this if you like to go with an experimental flavor, you will not be disappointed. Now, for the chai latte was really average and nothing special about it. Service was fast for the food, but for the drink took a little bit longer. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is chill and casual.

Can I please give it 6 stars..... Yes the avocado, vegan, GF and sesame dead Binns are very trendy, but what this place has is still a great flavour. I had the breakfast bagel and it's the best I had in a long time. Generous portions and a good strong coffee to go with. Lovely ambiance and staff with knowledge of serving. Buzzing on a midweek morning! Came for breakfast at 8:30am and the place was packed. Lots of interesting and healthy brunch options with quality ingredients. I had the Eggs Benedict with spinach. It came on a crunchy chunk of housemade hash dressed with sesame seeds and snowpea sprouts. Gooey eggs were cooked to perfection. Friendly and attentive staff. Looking forward to trying other items from their menu.

Amazing experience! We were seated within 2 minutes and it was really busy. The staff were all so friendly and went as far as complimenting me 💕 The coffee’s were perfect and the food was well priced and absolutely amazing! Superb food and coffee especially if you are within the city centre. Just a bit crowded though - chairs and tables feels too close to each other.

This eggs benny was fantastic! I orded with ham instead of bacon, and also had mushroom istead of house home-made hash brown. After that it becomes small portion but still 19 dollars. For the first time in two years, after having to cut wheat, onion and garlic out as well as a myriad of other bits and pieces, I had a sensational new meal that tickled my taste buds and provided comforting indulgence. Neo's pumpkin buttermilk pancakes with Maple roasted bacon, chili cinnamon butter, cocoa roasted nuts, crumbled feta and Maple syrup were sublime. Each mouthful a taste of happiness! My friend's veggie brekkie left her very happy as well! If I'm ever in Wellington again you can be certain I will return to Neo's Cafe!

First time eating at Neo today. Ordered the Vegan Brekkie, which consisted of some spinach, half a tomato, a piece of toast, 1/4 avocado and a pile of beetroot slaw for $22. Not great value for money considering the toast and spinach were apparently there to replace both halloumi and spinach falafel (which isn’t vegan for some reason), which were both offered in the vegetarian option. On top of this, there was the hard top of the avocado left in the meal which I bit onto, and there was no offer of discount or any further mention after telling the waitress. The service was good other than that and the hot chocolate was nice. Don’t think I’d visit again though. My friend also said the garlic butter mushrooms had no flavour. The other two people we were with had nice meals of granola and chilli scrambled eggs on toast. Mixed bag and maybe a one off?

My partner is coeliac and vegetarian and they have plenty of options which cater for that, and the staff are well versed in cooking for people with coeliac, down to prep spaces and gluten free fryers. The first time, I arrived at closing time and I only had time to order coffee. I vowed to return, and I am sure glad I did! I had the mini beef gyros and the warm apple pie crepe. Everything is carefully prepared and made with the finest ingredients. The tzadziki sauce on the mini gyros was perfect, and the texture of the crepe and quality of the filling was wonderful! It's obvious that the management and staff take pride in their food and in their establishment.

Well what can we say, my wife is very fussy about how she has her coffee also food. For the past three mornings we have had breakfast at Neo Cafe. The coffee in my wife's own words BEST EVER , Blueberry pancakes to die for. The staff were excellent. What we liked about it was that the food etc was the same each day. We just happened upon Neo Cafe while walking from our hotel to Victoria University. It was a great find, and then we made a point of coming back for breakfast the next day too. My younger son made use of the all-day menu and got the Crispy Chicken burger at 8:00am! The rest of us got french toast, the Bircher, and toast. Everyone ended the meal very satisfied

Great spot in the heart of wellington! I had eggs Benedict on their polenta bread and it is to die for! I love that they use polenta bread rather than ciabatta or sourdough, it really sets them aside from other cafes & eateries. I liked the bottomless filter coffee however the service was a bit slow on top ups as staff didn't refill your cup unless you specifically asked and it could be difficult to get their attention as there was a lot of background noise. It also took some time to clear plates after our meal. Other than those minor details the food was delicious and we had a great time :)

My favourite cafe in Wellington. Always a gluten free option on the menu and good for low FODMAP people too. Menu is seasonal and on a Sunday I've seen them bringing bags of veges from the market into the kitchen. They do unlimited filter coffee as a bonus if you are feeling the need for an extra boost.

There were so many other delicious options on the menu that we will definitely be back to put Neo's team through their paces again. Today we tried Neo's version of Eggs Benedict, which has a house made hash brown/potato cake under the eggs, with bacon and hollandaise. This was substantial, clearly their own creation and proclaimed delicious There was also a good range of sides that could be added, so some black pudding went alongside. My choice was the carrot and kumara fritters. This turned out to be a carnival of exciting flavours. The fritters themselves were excellent, but the experience was even better with the additional flavour combinations on the plate. I had taken the "add bacon" option and so had the bacon's saltiness to add alongside the tang of whipped goats cheese, the spice of relish, the fresh notes from salad greens with shaved fennel and the richness of the poached egg and sliced avocado. All together a wonderful range of ingredients, with lots of great mouthfuls that varied. Good coffee and friendly helpful staff made this an all round great experience.

We found this place by chance and so glad we did. The food is amazing!!! The staff was friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the best latte here as well. It is also a great place for kids. So glad this was our first stop since arriving. Can't wait to go back!!!

These guys have a great range of coffees which are consistently excellent, a really friendly attitude, and this is one of the few places in town where you can get a bottomless filter. Their all day breakfasts and lunch options are also really good.

Went for a late brunch/lunch today and we were stoked that we could get all day breakfast, (sometimes you just need eggs at 1pm). I ordered the big breakfast and everything was delicious and fresh.
