L.Wow I am so impressed with this company. All of their products have detailed info about the producer cooperatives who supply their beans, including where the co-ops are located and their over all philosophy, or politics. The People’s Coffee has great subscription options in terms of quantity and frequency. I chose 500g every 14 days and it came with free shipping! Plus, I can easily manage my subscription, and even swap products online. I shopped around with quite a few NZ roasters before I settled on this one. This could be a long term relationship.
D.We order about once a month from People's Coffee and they deliver overnight the most delicious coffee.

L.Wonderful place! Newtown’s best cafe by far. Excellent coffee. Great staff. Cool decor. Delicious food (although it’s a limited menu). Pesto feta toast and nut butter toast (bring it back!) are particular favourites.
Only down side is limited seating which makes it very difficult to get a seat during weekends.
C.Normally I have latte but tried filtered one this time. Little tasting note was provided for your experience and the coffee was great.
Quite busy always so going there early hour is recommended. If you cannot find a seat then ask other people to share the table, mostly all happy to share it with you.
