S.Great feel sitting in the shady garden on a hot summer day. Staff very friendly serving in-house made goodies of good quality. Excellent coffee and orange cake.

J.We have a lovely visit, great food and a surprise friend. The gift shop was such a lovely shop, 24 crafts people putting their talents together in one place. Out the back was a lovely bunch of friendly sheep. I had the best pie ever!!

S.Food was presented well and staff lovely however I ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and my husband a big breakfast. The meals came out at the same time which is great except his was hot and my cold. Second visit and will try somewhere else next time. Couple travelling on a motorbike.

C.Generally a great place to stop for nourishment. Salad ingreds seemed to be quite different on separate visits.
It may depend on which staff are on in the kitchen but I prefer to see detailed content of salads so I know what I can expect each time I order that meal.
T.Fantastic service. I was tired and hungry but they did not have what I wanted cos it quite late in day. Staff member made up delicious sandwich especially for me.
S.What an awesome place to stop. There was an awesome selection of old time favourite cakes and yummy board menu at a great value. I found it hard to decide what bread to take home! A great craft shop to view also. Highly recommend.
A.Food choice is gr8 as its made / baked onsite.. away from WHK township... in garden / orchard setting. Its on market to buy. Local picture artwork for sale.

place I've been in whakatane where staff noticed my dad's vision impaired badge and told him what type of scones there were and explained things better. Yay for that courteous customer service. Nice food too.

G.I liked the food. My comment is the young people working there. Please be happy and smile, being scared, timid and unsure is hurting you a bit. Only one young lady actually smiled for our family.

L.LOVE this stop everytime we come to Whakatane! Cute craft shop attached which we just HAVE to buy something from every time! The BEST ciabatta I've ever tasted! Made here fresh. Also sourdough. Very generous portions. YUM homemade pies. Lovely outside garden tables or warm inside tables. About 5km north of Whakatane. We're regulars from Auckland!!
C.A very tranquil spot along the highway, 10 minutes outside Whakatane. Great coffee and the kind of food you desire when knocking off the kilometers and also to meet with friends for a pleasant catch up. Plenty of parking and short wait times.
Try the mushrooms on toast! Delicious.

A.(Translated) Red barn where cars were parked a lot on the way to a very quiet and secluded road on the way down to Opotiki.
I looked at it and stopped by on the way up, and lunch/coffee
The big, locally-seen brothers in front of the cashier wanted to order steak sandwiches, so this is what I wanted, so I should have known when the steak sandwich was priced higher than other menus ($20)

오포티키에 내려가던 도중 정말 한적하고 또 한적한 도로을 지나는 중에 차들이 주차가 많이 되어있던 Red barn.
눈 여겨 봤다가 올라오는 길에 들려서 점심/커피
계산대 앞에 덩치 좋고 로컬로 보이는 형들이 스테이크 센드위치 시키길래, 여긴 이거구나 싶어서 따라시킨 스테이크 센드위치... 가격이 다른 메뉴보다 쫌 비쌀때 알았어야 했는데(20달러)
딱 나오는 순간 헉 했음
진짜 스테이크를 빵 사이에 넣은 수준 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
