a.Nice staff and menu options. Place isn't super high dining if you are looking for a place like this. Is a more family orientated place but very nice. Theres a few sparrows flying around but coffee is excellent.
D.We came for breakfast as part of a group from out of town, and Parnells Cafe was handy to our motel.
The menu had a good selection of options and all at reasonable prices.
Our only criticism is the pancakes really needed to be served with twice as much fruit.
Would we come again? Yes most definitely.
B.Coffee made to perfection. Correct temperature, yum.
They weren't far from closing and let us know when we were to place our order. Really curteous staff.
My friend had an iced coffee and Really enjoyed it.
Definitely returning.

A.An ok cafe and garden arts centre near the top of Victoria Ave. We had breakfast this morning before checking out of a nearby hotel. The coffee was strong and served quickly. Our meals were ok but nothing special. I had a three-egg omelette with three fillings (ham, cheese, tomato). Substantial but the filling ingredients weren’t overly tasty. My partner enjoyed his Belgian waffles with banana, bacon, maple syrup and cream. A nice garden-style atmosphere and reasonable service.
D.Classic eggs bene with bacon, a very good breakfast! Great coffee to wash it down and very friendly service. Travelling through close to the state highway. I definitely will return when I'm in town next!
R.To judge a cafe on equal footing you need a carrot cake and coffee, of witch they had both ,top shelf 10 point from me go back anhydrous day
E.This is one of my favourite cafes in Whanganui. I love that I can order the breakfast menu anytime of the day. Their service is always friendly and their food is too quality.

S.What an awesome Salmon Eggs Benedict. One of the best ever. The chef who made this needs a huge compliment. Definitely my place of choice for future visits to Whanganui. Open nice and early so easy to get in and out before the meetings start for the day. Friendly staff. Great food. What more could you want.

d.Went there 18 months ago and it was very poor but this time 5 star great meals and staff new what to do. We will go again.
I.Really enjoyed our late breakfast, the omelet was delicious and generous with filling. Great coffee also. Enjoyed the soft seats too as usually I have a sore back on normal chairs.

Really impressed today. Managing table service well, with extremely friendly helpful staff.
Most impressed with highchair and availability of baby change table. (These are extremely important to mum's that coffee.)

K.The very best Eggs Benedict. As someone who travels for work and eats a lot of eggs Benedict, this is the best I've had in at least five years. And the coffee is excellent and so is the customer service, so it's well worth going out of your way for this experience.

G.Very disappointing. Haven't been here for about two years. The omelette was very pale , had heaps of raw onions was not very nice. The mince on toast was good. Coffee was ok. Took a very long time to get our food , strange as no one else was waiting for food. Shame was our favourite place.

J.Perfect atmosphere to chill for brunch or lunch. All the food looks and tastes delicious. I was pleasantly surprised with how my pumpkin and feta filo was plated, it looked professional and would easily match any other upmarket cafe but at a fraction of the price. The staff are pleasant and courteous, the wait for food was surprisingly short considering it was a public holiday Monday and they were fairly busy. The coffee was hot and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
D.We really enjoyed having breakfast there. Super filling . I ordered the pancakes and they were amazing yummy . My husband had bacon and eggs. Really clean and set out well. Would go again and will recommend it for everyone 😊

N.Had drunk my coffee well before I got my toaster sandwich people who ordered after me had finished there lunch before a toastie turned up I do understand with covid there can be delays on things due to shipping but I don't think the toastie was on the ship?

C.Situated on a corner and Wanganui Collegiate just up the street , this is a great location for a cafe in a renovated cottage.
There is outdoor seating which is hidden from the street.
Local art/ craftwork fills the walls which is all for sale.
A selection of cabinet food and menu food to order.
Their gourmet club sandwiches are delicious and filling.
Mojo coffee is served but I personally prefer the size down from their smaller cup , due to this my triple shot was still quite weak.I should have requested it to be 3/4 filled.My mistake.
The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Just follow the aromas of coffee and bacon , you can’t miss it.

C.Trendy atmosphere but disappointed with the food the last two times we've been here for brunch. Ordered the big breakfast each time - the breakfast sausages aren't as tasty as they used to be, the fried mushrooms had barely seen the pan, and although I ordered the eggs fried (as I was pregnant) they arrived at the table very lightly poached.
C.Met my sisters and mum here for lunch one day. They had been here before and thought it was good so I gave it a shot. I had a pie and salad followed by coffee. It was a really nice lunch. There was a good selection of fresh food to suit alll tastes.

D.Breakfast had the potential to be great with several vego options. However on this occasion the hash browns were not well cooked, coming to the table greasy.
E.Nice popular cafe. They have a varied blackboard menu and a good selection of cabinet food which is all delicious. Outside dining area good summer and winter. Only bugbear are the sparrows flying around the interior of the cafe.

D.Don't get me wrong, the food, coffee and service are very good here. I just can't get past the extra cost. They seem to be more expensive than everywhere else, and it always leaves a sour taste in my mouth (figuratively speaking). A great place to go and eat, just be prepared to pay more for the privilege.
P.Disappointed- it was 12 noon and very limited food on offer in the cabinet to choose from, with pancakes on the special board. Come on guys dont insult your diners

Thin, health conscious Americans in my car and all of us on the way to Mahia for a weeks holiday and we needed coffee..........diets were thrown out the door and happily kicked down the street.
Stop for coffee...............expect and get so much more when you stop.

G.A great breakfast of poached eggs and bacon. Used to call in once a week in the 1970s and sell seeds and other gardening products to Parnells when I worked for Arthur Yates. Good to see smiling faces behind the counter the service was tops.

n.I had a "Caesar salad" their once....more like a plain salad. was nice...but no cos lettuce....no croutons. Coffee is good. Cafe interior is beautiful.
