Nice meal, well presented. Coffee was good. They need to be more careful about what meals belong to which people. Approached twice with waitress not knowing which meal went where. Not the same waitress either.

Great food, great service. The Whanganui East Bakery and Cafe is a hidden gem in the heart of Whanganui East. The easy pick up from shelves of cakes, slices, muffins and a range of savories, pies and sandwiches and much more to choose from. A range of freshly prepared menu items is also available. Awesome selections available. A good range of coffees, cold made drinks and tea also available. Lovely, pleasant staff are chatty, happy and efficient.

Lovely lunch at this cafe/bakery in Wanganui East. The food is beautiful, well cooked and delicious. The young ladies who served us were friendly and obliging. We had a very enjoyable meal with our family before leaving for home. Thank you .

I love the savories here, their pastry is really good and I'm fussy when it comes to pastry (has to be like mine). The pies are full of meat, especially the steak. The staff there are really nice and friendly.

Absolutely love this place! Have been a regular visitor here for some time. Their pies are beautifully tasty and always fresh. The array of other foods are also delicious and fresh. The staff are always very friendly with a happy disposition which is great to see and a sure way of having customers like myself return time and time again.

The food is excellent, the customer service is best early morning. Food does not not fresh for long, some is left in the cabinets for next day sale. Just order the chicken and chips, the best in town.

Excellent food and Vittoria Espresso Coffee a great array of delicious foods including a menu with dishes that can be select from, including Eggs Benedict absolutely delicious. The dining area is large and spacious with large windows allowing a great view of surrounding Wanganui East. CC's caters to large group bookings. This is my favourite place to dine.

The food is fresh and delicious. Price wise this is extremely value for money here. You can get a really good meal for two for under $20:00, this includes tea or coffee. We visit this place on a semi regular basis

PIES!!! The best pies on the planet. Not even kidding. I would murder myself if it gave me an unlimited amount of Pies from this place!! Obviously id get nothing if i actually murdrerd myself so that'd be counter productive. But you get the idea. Your pies are what i will eat when i die and go to Valhalla and i will battle Odin Everday cos im pretty dam sure he will want to eat all the pies.
