Friendly staff, my absolute favourite cafe in Whangarei. Brilliant coffee, amazing cakes, danishes and other delights (such as Banoffee tart which I tried today) ….the Nutella cake is ridiculously good also. I plan to slowly work my way through the menu…

An underrated/hidden gem💎, if I'm out for a treat (no pun intended) in the middle of the city, this is the place I go; their coffee's are usually pretty good, but their dessert choices are where they shine 🤩🤤 and a sweet tooth lovers dream🥰... also their salads are pretty good too. 😁

Beautiful fresh patisserie, lovely coffee. The Banana and Nutella Donuts were perfect.

Such amazing treats all the time, my favorite are their delicious donuts. They are always so fresh and melt in your mouth. I always recommend them to friends who are looking for a sweet treat. The staff are always friendly and tell you about some great deals when it's a certain time of day :)

Maybe not the most pleasant looking shop on the inside but the the food and coffee were delicious. The donuts must be one of the best I’ve ever had. Great service too.

I love this Cafe, the team here are amazing. They look after all your needs, very helpful and also fun too. Now the food is to die for, it is absolutely fantastic. All extremely fresh and tasty. Treat also make superb coffee, which I would class the best in town. I would recommend Treat to everyone.

My favourite cafe in town. Delicous coffee and the most mouthwatering cabinet food - all hand made in store. If you are in on a Saturday I would highly recommend their breakfast menu which is again delicious and fantastic bang for your buck. The staff are all so friendly and genuine aswell and it's always such a nice atmosphere in the cafe. They also make beautiful cakes to order too. Nearly forgot to mention the donuts! They are out of this world!

The fun team at treat make delicious coffee!! And it always comes with a smile! Also don’t breathe in the delicious aroma when you’re there or you will end up leaving with an amazing caramel almond slice or one of their breads or handmade marshmallows (get the toasted coconut ones)

Amazing! Had a savoury pin wheel and thought I had died and gone to heaven! The bread was light and fluffy and the filling just perfect. Took a bunch of truffles to work for morning tea and the staff RAVED!!!! Lovely staff and great coffee, this is my new fav place to call in for a yummy treat!

Awesome cafe to sit in quiet surroundings and relax and enjoy amazing fresh food. They also made some cupcakes for my sons birthday and they were great 👍 totally recommend a visit

The Doughnuts are just scrumptious. Even tho my diet doesn't allow me to eat them, I eat them anyway. My favorite is the Custard Doughnut.😋😋😋😋😋

Great service. The best service I have gotten from any cafe in Whangarei. Extremely well made food that makes me happy every time I eat. There has not been a single time where I didn't like my experience at this cafe. Amazing!

Had a lovely pie, steak and cheese. Very nice. Iced coffee a bit bland, could have done with a squirt of cream or a chocolate swirl.

I visited "Treat" today to see what all the hype is about.As a retired chef of 50 years I've become a real sceptic.On arrivel I was greeted wih a warm greeting. I preceded to check out the cabinet food.The pastries are of varying sizes e.g lovely macarons that are perfect morsel,to the custard filled doughnuts which I just couldn't resist (just delicious).I proceeded to buy pies,salads and pasta all made in house.Well dine"Treat" I'll beback for sure.
