Definitely worth a stop at this awesome spot. There were a few good vegetarian options, I had a small salad to keep room for their amazing cakes! Their tea for 2 was a very generous pot with loose leaf tea. There's plenty of parking and you're able to keep an eye on your vehicle if you need to :) I noticed that it's also dog friendly. Their shop has some excellent books and Italian treats.

Great homemade food and a beautiful garden to sit in. A valuable tip- the staff are very young and although lovely need a lot more training. As my partner and I ate breakfast we watched the staff circle the garden with food searching continuously for the right table. Also, upon arrival as you enter the main part of the cafe the staff acknowledge you and don’t even give you a menu or point you in the right direction for one or where you can sit. I ended up taking the all day menu and didn’t realise there was a breakfast menu( which was what I was after). I think if the staff better trained this cafe could be incredible!!!!

We come here whenever we go to Whitianga, a Superb Cafe, always 100% perfect. Just coffee and cake today but Awesome Apple cake with excellent coffee.❤

I had the Salmon Gravlax Gluten free and the salad was so fresh and the beetroot was delicious. Coffee was great to. Lovely organic food ❤️

Colenso cafe is a lovely spot to go for lunch on a fine afternoon. Beautiful gardens and orchard where you can while away the time in a relaxed environment. The food options are a little different than the usual fair but excellent none the less. Service is excellent and staff are friendly and helpful. We worth stopping here on your travel around the Coromandel.

Amazing food, fresh and healthy - loved the kids plate with nice healthy options that the kids loved - even feijoas! The staff were lovely and told us about the two donkeys at the back and even gave us feijoas to feed them! The kids playground and trampoline was amazing too. Thank you, we will be back :)

stopped in here and i wasnt disappointed , i chose a cheesecake without checking the ingredients and i think it had rhubarb on it , anyone know ? anyway 10/10 for the cheesecake and the coffee was really nice , the gardens are great and a special point for me the toilets were spotless
