My gaming pc was running into some issues and I couldn’t find out why. Firstly, I had my pc waiting to be diagnosed and repaired at pbtech but they said it’ll take upto 6 days to even be looked at by a technician. I was quite upset since gaming means a lot to me. I started calling up places to see if they could repair my pc faster then what pbtech had said they could. I came across extremepc and the first thing I noticed was that they actually seemed to care about their customers concerns. The technician who worked on my pc (I didn’t get his name) promised he’ll get the pc diagnosed and repaired that same day! I waited around and had lunch with my gf at the mall and before I knew it I got a call saying I’m able to come pick up my pc! They replaced my motherboard and power supply and charged a price that kept both of us happy. I went home n plugged in my computer and everything that was wrong before was gone. I can’t thank the team at extremepc enough! Awesome place

ExtremePC St Lukes were super helpful when my system started getting hardware errors. At no cost to me, they sent both my motherboard and NVME drive to Gigabyte - even though Gigabyte are known for charging for returning items. This was for a system I built myself from various components (ie not one I purchased entirely from ExtremePC). They even gave me a new Samsung NVME drive to test at home in order to troubleshoot. When it was clear the NVME drive was at fault, I was given my choice of replacement drive, or choose a cheaper drive with store credit. Great customer service and will be using them for future builds. Thanks for all your help!

Purchased an item which was shipped and delivered exceptionally fast. However, item was DOA (dead on arrival) which happens from time to time. I let ExtremePC know what had happened and they communicated quickly and provided some options moving forward. I opted for a refund which was provided without question. Top company, will deal with again in the future.

Awesome Gaming PC knowledge and didn't try to over sell. Was able to make changes to the base configuration and the price was cheaper than any where else allowing me to upgrade to a better graphic card. The RTX 3080 and i7 11 Gen rock in performance.

Absolutely excellent pricing and customer service. Had compatibility issues with my motherboard and ram, so I sent the ram back. They offered to have the ram replaced with a different kit, or refunded for the price I paid for (with no fault of theirs) Just had to pay return shipping, but that's to be expected. Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing experience with Extreme PC! For the last 2 years Ive dreamed of getting a portable gaming set up that would last a long time because Im always in and out of hospital. I emailed Kelvin and Troy and after 2 days of back and forth emailing I had my dream set up! I would like to thank ExtremePC for a great order experience. I was after a very specific laptop, and only ExtremePC had this item available in NZ when I was browsing for this laptop, for a great price too, and it was a display laptop (as mentioned in its website listing). I was worried it would be an item that didn't look brand new, however I ordered it as I was looking for this particular laptop type and colour. As my order arrived, I was very impressed and happy. My laptop came packaged neatly back in its original box, and with its cable adapter charger that looked brand new to me. I would like to thank ExtremePC for sending me a great Laptop with no scratches or any marks - it is definitely exactly like a Brand New laptop that I wanted and hoped for when I ordered the Laptop, knowing it is a Display Laptop item. I had written a note and requested for a Brand New like one to be sent to me if possible - and I am very happy with my order and the way that they look after their display laptops. Called PBtech but no one help me to upgrade my PC from Win10 to Win11. St Lukes Techninian is very helpful . He told me just need to upgarde the bios . I upgarde my PC to win11 finally .. High Recommend Extremepc Services !!!!

Kelvin and his team are fantastic! During COVID-19 lockdown they were quick to get parts out the door and shipped. And when I had an issue during my new high end AMD PC build, Kelvin with his heaps of expertise, knew pretty much what the issue was. 10 minutes later the rig POSTed fine and I was away.

It was a good purchase kinda weird on the login process since I wasn't able to login but the director ensure that the item is sent to me properly. The item is the G-Skill. I wish there was an option for myself to avail a Q Card through shops but it seems no luck on those cases.

Customer Service are very reaponsive and does an amazing work. Would just like to advise once confirmation was done if they could automatically provide the tracking number. On my case, I had to ask for it. That aside, everything perfect.

I bought the G502 Hero mouse and it arrived within a few business days. The package was bubble wrapped and arrived safely. ***The only thing I would comment on is the delivery cost which was $15. I thought it was very high for such a light package, considering you can get products shipped from overseas for free, or half that cost.

I know that I'm writing a review on behalf of the Auckland team, but my experience and subsequent order involves the awesome Wellington team as well! I can't speak highly enough about ExtremePC and my ordering experience with them. During a weekend, I saw a particular monitor that I was feeling really good about, and so I placed an order for and paid for two of them. The following day (Monday) I saw some OTHER monitors that I felt even better about and emailed them to see if I could change my order. Not only were they kind enough and able to, but they still got my purchase shipped out the same day from another branch. Super amazing customer services and if I can inspire anyone to give them a go and purchase from ExtremePC, then I'm more than happy to vouch for their great ability to serve customers. Way to go team!

This was the 2nd Asus notebook I've bought from ExtremePC, very happy with the liaison and delivery times to Central Otago. Pricing also very competitive given I have dealt in the trade for many years. It has replaced an old Acer and is keeping the wife a lot happier!!!!

Really good service. Recieved email confirmation of order dispatch within 24 hours of purchase with tracking number. Arrived at my house in the South Island within 2 days. I bought a Samsung QVO SSD. Item is as described and works fine and the cheapest I found on the market.

I purchased a monitor from here to be delivered, and the monitor arrived damaged. The team here were extremely professional in diagnosing what the issue was, organising for the monitor to be returned, and organising a new one to be sent out. It was dealt with very efficiently (especially considering it was at the end of December) and the monitor was perfect, as well as being at a far better price than anywhere else. Wanted to purchase a computer that was used as a display unit, and asked about the condition of the laptop over email. Very prompt response times!! They told me that the computer was in great condition and arrived only a few days after purchasing. It's in perfect condition, arrived in the box and all the accessories were unpackaged brand new. You couldn't even tell that it was used as a display. I'm really happy with it!! Would highly recommend this service! I was pretty nervous about buying a laptop online but this went about as well as it possibly could have :)

Easy to trade with and fast. product arrived the next day but would just suggest not wrapping the product in Brown paper as there was some damage to the packinging. Box and bubble wrap would be safer. Thanks

Awesome shop to buy from.. rather sometimes their prices are the best and payment options are many. Hence my love for this shop is more than any other.. team is little tricky to deal with as to me(I think) they are straight to say "NO" every time I ask for any discounts or deal (guess its natural) but when the deals are on website - they are one of the best surely. This is why I had been buying from them quite a lot lately. Website is fine but the search on the website needs more optimization with proper results when most accurate results are needed, rather vomiting their featured products first. Anyways I have positive experience on buying from this shop and hence would recommend to all to check these guys - maybe don't expect deals upfront as "No" is first answer without much of effort. Haven't experienced any RMA situation so can't vouch there but I am happy customer.

I have been going to this business for over 10 years now and have bought 4 computers from them. Everytime it has been a top high performing system at a great price. My first impression from so many years ago was they can speak very confidently about all of their products, and give advice as if they were the customer themselves. They understand the real world performance instead of just relying on specifications released by the companies. They have always been able to communicate these differences in clear easy to understand terms. Even a decade later they still maintain a very high standard of service and knowledge, which is likely what helps them to expand into more stores.

I love these guys. They have a good selection of computer hardware at good prices and are very knowledgeable especially for computer repairs. They are also very friendly and polite. Would definitely recommend their services. I ordered a mouse for Click & Collect and within the hour I received an email advising it was ready to be picked up. Can't get much better than that!

I recently purchased a motherboard from extreme pc. I forgot that it would need a BIOS update to support my Ryzen 5 3600. I brought it back in and asked if they would be able to perform the update. they did it without any problems. Great service will be returning next time I need components.

These guys were great! I Highly recommend them. Also, I'm one of those people who like to do their homework, and I really did shop around (including wellington, and online and even looked at getting a computer from overseas - but these guys trumped everything out there - including the option of importing. I live in wellington & called through to find out about costs to tailor a particular gaming computer to my own specs. They were very helpful and asked me just to detail what Basic model I wanted and then to list all the addition swap outs that I needed (larger SDD, dvd drive, more ram, specific graphics card, more ram etc). They were open to several variations of specs (quoted each for me)... most of the dealings were by email. Delivery of the PC was VERY prompt. I've never been so happy with a PC... it's simply humming along! Great stuff guys

So after calling around all computer stores in Auckland, and across all PBTECH stores (who tried sending me to all of there other stores when they could have just called, then tried to sell me a new mobo) looking for a M.2 NVME screw for motherboard and drive... EXTREMEPC was the only store who could come through with the product, Free of charge aswell, have bought heaps of hardware off them over the years aswell.. Cases, PSU's, CPU Coolers, HDD's and so forth.. definitely worth your while giving them a call and or heading on in for your PC / Parts needs... Cheers Guys...

ExtremePC is my favourite source for laptop repair services, advice on gaming laptops and associated peripherals, good quality laptop RAM cards and MicroSD cards, and gaming headsets. I usually go online to check their website for things that I need and to see whether they currently hold them in stock at their St Lukes shop (which is local to me).

They where extremely helpful with organising delivery during lockdown. Product was packaged with great care and arrived quickly 10/10

Good place to buy computer hardware. Note, please check their websites for discounts before to go to the physical store if shopping offline. They don't always list the discounts at the store but if you ask for it, they happily give it to you. Recently got a pair of Logitech speakers from there.

My gaming computer seriously died after trying to help out a neighbor by plugging in their USB flash drive. And after sending my PC to a computer repair shop and a computer technician, almost 3 weeks later I was still no further forward to having a working computer. So I contacted ExtremePC St Lukes by email. Initially I was served over the phone by an Asian gentlemen named Troy Zhang, whom replied to my email within minutes. After a seeming less conversation over the mobile phone, Troy typed up an excellent and very detailed quote which he sent to me via email. When I contacted ExtremePC St Lukes the following day to continue my dilemma of having a working computer again. I was then served by the young pakeha gentlemen named "Jacke". His easy going attitude made it very easy to get along with him and his customer service was exceptional. I must say "Jacke went above and beyond to help me over the phone and then in person at the store in St Lukes. Jacke confirmed what was damaged in my old computer/s and what could salvaged"! This was extremely important to me! Effectively this enabled me to make a well informed decision as to how much I needed to invest in a new computer or not. After having numerous bad experiences at other computer stores, I would highly point any of my friends and family to ExtremePC St Lukes. Lastly, within 3 days I traveled back to West Auckland from South Auckland to pick up my new personalised gaming PC. They also installed 2 old hard drives, that had been collecting dust for many years from some of my old computers and 1 SSD hard drive from my now dead gaming PC. And a new SSD that came with the new gaming PC. I also upgraded to the new Windows 11, CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, Nvidia GeForce Graphics Card RTX 3060, RAM to 32GB at 3200Mhz. Needless to say, that my new gaming computer is flying and my gaming experience has gone through the roof. The PC has run flawlessly and I am forever grateful to Troy, Jacke and the rest of the team at ExtremePC St Lukes.
