The friendly staff are very patient and helpful, and provided good advice to suit my budget. I have been happy with the purchases I have made on their recommendations, and love Apple products any way because of the care put into technology, aesthetics and user experience.

I took my Mac laptop to I store in Takapuna for advice when I was not able to access apps in the usual way. I left the computer there for a program upgrade The counter staff explained perfectly what was needed and what was involved and after 36 hours I got a call to pick it up. Any remaining issues (due to my own tech incompetence ) were explained and corrected by the Manager and I left a satisfied customer. The service was friendly, appropriate and very reasonably charged. I am more than satisfied.

Well worth buying all your Apple “kit” through these guys, rather than online, as you get such good real advice, and any set ups, data swaps etc they do in store free of charge as part of the service. Libby helped me 2-fold. (Both requests were outside of warranty). iPhone SE number 1 stopped showing anything but vertical lines on the screen. She confirmed it was a hardware problem that cannot be fixed. iPhone SE number 2 would not load the latest operating system. She tried to update it and it took about an hour but eventually she was not successful. She did not charge me any money

I’ve had occasion to visit Takapuna istore recently - initially to order a watch and secondly a problem with my iPad. Both times I was met with very helpful staff who were able to assist me graciously and explained the problem to me fully. My order for a watch was handled promptly by Hayden with follow up emails to keep me informed. I can highly recommend the istore Takapuna.

Having broken my brand new iPhone during a level 4 lockdown, iStore were very helpful and even recommended a cover that would protect my new phone better than the one I bought with the phone. So far so good, I have not broken my phone again !!

I went in today to get my Apple watch serviced and they fixed it with good honest work. They could have easily charged me and trick me into paying a service fee but they provided me good honest work and I saved good amount of money. Highly recommend these guys!

Jamie and team have always been incredibly helpful with warranty work on Apple devices. They are fast and keep in touch and actually help out their way where there may be a issue. Been using iStore for a while now for various devices and have been fantastic every time. Highly recommend as the most friendly and fast AASP in the Auckland region, even during lockdown, offering to courier devices out contactless is super. My son’s ipad broke down in the beginning of level 4 lockdown. It did take some time due to lockdown but I am really happy that it did arrive eventually, all safe and secure without any further problems. The staff were friendly and efficient too.

My ipad got a flicker screen, and still in warantte. So the staff checked device quickly and told me could be replaced with a new one if not user damage. Just two working days, I got my new ipad.

Had done a 3rd party battery change previously mainly because it was a while you wait service instead of having to give up the phone for a few days. Turns out that was a BIG mistake: 3rd party battery became swollen and started to distort the phone. IStore were understandably a bit cagey about being 100% sure new battery could be installed, due to the cement that is used to glue batteries in.
In fact, repair was successful and took half the quoted time, so we’re very happy, and will only use iStore in future.
It would be 5 stars if the battery change time (assuming Apple parts !!) could be got down to overnight.

Dropped off my iPhone 7 to get a new battery, was told that it would take 5 working days. Long time without phone but no real choice so acceptable. After a week no sign as email to let me know it was ready went to junk mail. No txt or call to follow up. Ok still acceptable but not great service. Got phone back 10 days later with new battery minus glass screen protection. Apparently it’s in the fine print but it would be nice to be told ‘sorry, we had to remove this to repair, would you like to purchase a new one? ...’ but instead I discovered this half way back home. So now I have to go back and get a new screen protector. Plus the attitude on the phone...‘it’s in the fine print!’
Apple I love your products but for the price I expect service not attitude and lack of customer care.

I had a very special issue that probably no body would believe…
Having had a crazy busy year with the America’s Cup, I never opened a brand new MacBook Pro for more than a year, meaning it was still in its box, wrapped when I finally decided to open it and set it up more than a year after purchase (yes…!…).
Nevertheless when I tried to start the computer to set it up, it would not start and display the red low battery icon for a fraction of second…
Bought in the US when I was there at the time, I then went to the istore in Takapuna.
They performed a diagnostic in less than 48h and the logic board had to be changed as well as the touchpad board etc (not sure why since the machine was brand new but anyway).
This was going to cost me half the price almost of this brand new computer, never used, pretty frustrating.
They put me in contact with Apple directly and I had to go through a few persons since it was a special matter and needed to get an exemption for Apple to cover the full cost despite the expired warranty, which they did.
This is my first MacBook and I was non only pleased they did but the istore also managed to fix it once cost of repair was approved in less than a week.
I can not be more happier if the service of the istore and the way Apple has accepted to solve my issue.
No matter what people say out there, Apple remains the best computer designer, best hardware and best service.

They were so good! Told me the repair would take between 7-10 business days. Ended up being 3 days. They also fully replaced my phone because of battery problems (instead of just replacing the battery) which shows that they are reliable and want the best for their customers. Would 10/10 recommend

Really impressed with this store and the service and price was excellent. I had a 8 year old Gen 1 external hard drive that I used as a time machine and it died. I was quoted from $500 to $2000 and these guys quoted $90 to see if they could activate the drive and that included transferring the data if it could be done. Thankfully it could be retrieved and all for $90!
So very pleased I got them to do it. Thanks I appreciate it!

Not sure why some of the reviews here rate these folks so poorly. I brought in an Ipad Air 2 with a suspected faulty battery here last week. Within 10 mins the chap had run a diagnostics, completed the paperwork and had the iPad sent to Apple. Less than 6 days later, a new replacement iPad was sitting on my doorstep in Tauranga. Absolutely excellent service from the very first phone call, drop off to receiving the new unit. Thank you to you all for the great service! Merry Xmas!

I think they are quite good. My previous iPhone 6s suffered from unexpected shut down problem, so I ask them for battery replacement. After one hour check, they decided to give me a replacement new phone but it need 3-5 turnover days. Because i have no back up phone, they promise noticing me through E-mail, but maybe they forgot that and send me text. Anyway, i got a new phone for free

The young people in shop are good however they need to have at one person dedicated for sales only as when the shop is full of people getting small things fixed, genuine buyers have to wait for a very long time. I had to go else where to buy an phone since I couldnt wait any longer.

I witnessed a very rude man abusing store staff and shop manager, his computer was not ready for collection because his insurance had not authorised the repair.
