Nice huge JB Hi Fi store right in the middle of the city. I have seen this store right here for 12 years now. The stock is always up to date and the service levels from the staff are awesome. It is always a pleasure to visit the store and have a chat with any of the staff. All the products ranging from headphones to large home electronics, which I have bought from here have lasted long enough and are still working. The store customer policies are good and clearly descriptive. Highly recommended.

I received excellent customer service. When phoning the store on a few occasions, they picked up almost instantly every time. I had my item transferred from the South Island and it arrived in 3 days. My experience was seamless and the salesperson Nich was super helpful and on to it!

Good job! JB Hi-Fi AUCKLAND CBD. I want to give you the Biggest applaud, Bharat!!!! Honestly, I am not sure his name is Bharat! I have only really good memories at JB Hi-Fi AUCKLAND CBD. The First Item was Nintendo Switch in 2019. It was also really good memory for me. I wanted to buy it but It was little bit expensive for me. I just went to there and had a look it, one of staff(Sorry, I don't remember your name OTL) came to me. we had small talk and he could match the lowest price. So I could buy it cheaper!! thanks mate. Secondly, When we were in Lockdown, My partner and I tried to find a way to survive at home. We could buy games on online, but we didn't have enough joy-con. Luckily, we could buy and pick it up. How kind and surprise, JB Hi-Fi sent an email, taught me the point where I could pick up and detailed address. Lastly, I bought an Iphone 11 pro white colour, case and a protection for our Queenstown trip) We have been several different stores to compare and get more information. When we went to JB Hi-FI AUCKLAND CBD branch, We met Bharat(he gave me his name card,,, I lost it sorry bro) and an woman staff, Bharat came to us with nice smile and helped to buy it. We struggled to choose colour, he showed his Iphone 11 pro, it made us easy to choose. He also explained the plan and perks. He was such a nice guy. and another the woman staff helped us to choose colour(my partner was so serious about colour). After we bought the Iphone, we had to come back to buy a case and protection, He also answered what we wanted so well. We could take such a nice photo at Queenstown, we are so satisfied it!! Thanks and Good job to Bharat!! and JB Hi-Fi Auckland CBD!!!!

I love this place! I keep coming back and am always happy with my experience from the staff who work here and their useful assistance, help and knowledge with the products as well as their overall friendliness and great customer service! I had a problem with one product 2 months into having it and they were very understanding and helped me sort the problem instantly. I also love their online receipt system as it is very convenient! Highly recommend if on queen street and needing appliances and electronics. I ignore competing stores such as Noel Leeming on queen street just for this store! Defiantly deserves 5 stars!

A wide variety of stock, both new and old. Covid restrictions at level 2 were well followed and everything is nicely laid out and easy to find. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable about stock and were ready to give some recommendations that I have found useful.

I recently bought a laptop from JB Hi-Fi Queen Street. I initially called to enquire about the laptop and the salesperson was very helpful. I decided to buy it and went into the store. I asked for the sale person I had spoken to buy name and met him. He had saved the last model I was looking for. He did try to upsell me some product but wasn't really that pushy. Have only have the laptop for a few days but it feels good at the moment...

As soon as I walked in the door I was pleasantly greeted by a staff member and asked if I needed help, I was directed to the part of the store that had what I was looking for, and left to make my decision. Great choice of reasonably priced electronics of all sorts, but often gets very crowded, and sales assistants don't cope with the increasing number of customers.

I should have known better... Don't necessary believe the vendors. I asked specifically for something that could be hooked up to optical or RCA connectors for sound amplification/loudspeakers. The vendor was obviously eager to make any sale possible and sold me something that does not work neither with optical input nor RCA jacks. So I had to buy something else from somewhere else... Lost money.

I love going in to this store it has everything from phones to drones the staff are helpful and friendly and and give you good advice and don't just try to sell you something that you don't really want they have a nice vinyl collection and games the vinyl is what I'm interested in I use to work at abbey rd studios in London and the sound engineers with their £400.000 stereo systems prefer vinyl

Had the pleasure of being serviced by a very helpful staff member. He checked the in-store stock for a particular item for me and when it was confirmed not in stock he was very helpful and explained the different ways they could help. He ended up pointing me towards a branch that had the phone in-stock and even gave them a call ahead to keep the item on hold until my arrival.

The guy I spoke to about go pros was very knowledgeable and knew his stuff. Told me the difference between the different variations and models. Even advised me on which model to buy to maximise my intended use. Very personal service. The shop is really big and has a good number of friendly staff who are more than keen to help you with your requests. Lots of products and professional staff. Yes I'll be back for sure.

Excellent customer service. I had a Turtle Beach Xbox headset fail and contacted the NZ distributer who told me to go back to the retailer for a replacement. I had no receipt and no box, but Sam from JB HiFi helped me track down a digital receipt using my credit card bill. He then replaced it with a new headset instantly. Thank you!

I have been dealing with JBHIFI Queen Street for a number of years now and they have always given me fantastic service. I want to specifically mention the Store Manager Joel - his duty of care for the consumer is beyond reproach.

Probably the best retail store in NZ in terms of customer experience having been served by a beautiful staff in the counter who spared no effort to help me secure a few UHD discs from a store in Botany despite having to go through a few pauses. Products in JB Hi-Fi are usually at good prices during special discount periods.

Good service. I bought a product that turned out to be unserviceable. The handling of the replacement was textbook perfect. Hey, mistakes happen and problems pop up in all businesses. But when they are handled this well it's worth going with them again next time you need something. Well done to the team there

Must visit if you are in gaming stop wasting your time by going PB tech Noel leeming and other electronic vendors because JB have wide variety of the products looking for and also @affordable prices.

Good products and range. Price was high but they matched competitor who was 25% cheqper. Advise was a bit average. The staff member provided incorrect information, which if I hadnt already done my research would have been misleading on a number of points. So in summary, if you do your research and know the market this place is great. Just don't rely on the advice or ticket pricing.

Even though it's a smaller store it has a great range of stock. The staff have always been smiley and happy to help, even if the person you ask doesn't have the information you require they will find out for you.

JB hi-fi is always a chaotic and loud store, that much is expected and it's range of products and good/fair prices make it a decent place to shop for tech/entertainment with helpful and kind staff. This particular store loses a point for being particularly chaotic and making you feel crammed in and disoriented - the checkout is right at the back of the store so you have to purposefully wind your way through the chaos clutching your purchases and receipt obviously lest you be accused of shoplifting on your way out. I would also consider docking another point for the lack of phone reception when you venture deeper into the store, but that's not really something they can control (unless it is a nefarious plot to prevent instant price comparisons... :-P).

There's a guy there, tall, slim with a pony tail, his amazing. Really knows his stuff great customer service I highly recommend if you were to go to JB go to him. Not sure what his name is want to say Nick but I could be wrong. This was the second item I've brought from him. His really honest and gave me his opinion on the different items I was looking for. The rest of the staff was ok but I wouldn't give them 5 stars. The store in general is not that big but it does have the thing a you need. But I think if your looking for more choices your better off going to the Sylvia park or Manukau store. Parking for the CBD can also be a bit of a pain so it doesn't make shopping easy.

A very well stocked and presented electronics good showroom. It's a good place to hangout, if you're a tech nerd or bestbplave to buy stuff as it got everything you can imagine. For those who are traveling from abroad, the pricing is bit higher in compared to other countries. (That's general in NZ).

However prices were higher here. That said, if you can't find the things anywhere else then this will definitely be where you can find it.

Too many times you can pop into a store like this and the staff have no idea but each of these guys knows their stuff. The staff at JB Hi-Fi are relaly helpful, I had seen a digital camer ata Harvey Notman cheaper so thwy even price matched this for me and got me started qith the right memory card and bag and were knowledgable on the best deals. A whole lotta stuff without a whole lotta organization / layout signage that's easily understood by new visitors. There should be a few available staff on hand at any given time (judging how I went by around noon which surely would be busy) who'll show you where things are in the store and won't mind talking for a second about where else you may be able to find a part you need if they don't have it. Looked like a ton of sales going on, so if I need anything again I'm sure I'll still walk in and take a look.

Not what it says: This shop despite being one of the biggest establishments on the high street doesn't have a single HiFi item... well yes you can find some mass produced computer speakers and there was one (just1) sound bar. You've been deceived brother and sister. This ain't HIFI shop. Good choice of phone covers , power banks and personal electronics. Huge apple accessories range, I'd say every official wire and plug ever produced by apple is there. Massive DVD and games department. Knowledge staff (Just 1 guy actually as all the rest I asked seem not to have a clue what apple charger extension is)
