Great customer service. I looked online to ensure they had my item in store. However, upon arrival to purchase what I thought they had, was unfortunately out of stock. The person who served me though gave me alternatives as well as informed me of other stores that did have it in stock.

I am so grateful to Jason. My desktop computer was playing up and I had no idea what to do. He gave me useful tips and expert advice. He took his time explaining what my options were and offered me the best deal. Jason was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and very accommodating. His customer service very valuable. I was someone who got scammed and only the ongoing questions of Shannon at JBHiFi Sylvia Park, who alerted me of the scam going on with people buying Google card, which I was to attend the opening party at two Paddocks winery, for Jurassic Card Friday evening, and I asked if he would help me establish whether there was a party or not. He was more than helpful, as there was no party, when he phoned to find out, and spent some time in consoling me, as felt stupid and gullible. You have a wonderful lad in Shannon, and I highly praise him for his smart but kind help to my plight. So wish him the highest praise...

Shout out to John for the excellent customer service! Went to buy a 4k tv and was overwhelmed by the options. John respectively and informatively explained to me the differences and helped me find the best and most budget-friendly option. Was very patient and had a good sense of humor! Much nicer environment and service compared to other branches like Botany.

Very nice store! The music section is not by "style", but rather a mix of all styles in alphabetical order, which makes it hard to browse if you're looking for a particular style of music, but not sure what you want.

Ist time at Sylvia Park. It was insane. JB hi fi was ok. Had to find a staff member to get the item I wanted. He was ok. The checkout woman was very impersonal. No hi, thank you or whatever. A bit of friendly customer service never goes astray you know. Would I make the effort to go there again? The jury is out on that one.

I have been there quite a few times before, the latest purchase: got a little $2 case for my InstaX. I've done bigger purchases there before; the Huawei GT Watch and something else... 🤔 The prices are reasonable, friendly and helpful staff, although I once ran into a guy that tried to sell me a sample cover+keyboard that ran on a non-rechargable battery for the full price. And when he pulled it out I noticed it was already on... He brushed it off and said oh it must've not been in for too long 😂 I said no thanks and left on that day. So be mindful of what's up and do your research before on their website :)

Store located inside Sylvia Park Mall. If you have been to a JB Hi-Fi store you would be used to their decor. I don't like it, appears messy and scruffy, with high tech devices strewn around signage. Think it's trying to come across as bargain basement pricing. I find it disorganized and cheap. On my visit their prices were a few dollars cheaper then their competitors ( pretty sure any of the others would have priced matched). So at least a little cheaper which is always nice. Range of goods standard for New Zealand electronics store, do seem to have a lot of gaming stuff but not my bag. Did get good advice from store person regard item I was interested in, which was great.

A good Jb store i love to just browse their range. Very conveniently located for shoppers of Sylvia Park. I was wondering though if there's loading area for pick up large item since this is located in the centre of the mall. It will be quite challenging to take large item to your car from the store.

Their pricing is almost always better than their competitors and they always have a tremendously larger selection to choose from. There isn't a store in Auckland that stocks so many different options for the consumer. 5 stars and more.

I get good product there but I feel sometimes the service people have a chip on their shoulder and behave as if they are doing you a favor by helping you out. Sometimes they are busy having conversations among themselves (not wrong) and people have to approach them for help when it should be vice versa.

Best place to shop from TVs to headphones, CDs,DVDs, Bluetooth speakers, to Apple Products, you can always get better service from the time you walk in the store, be greeted by the security lady or sometimes the guy. And also the staff as well. But guess what, you have to be patient because staff are busy with other customers, so patience is good thing and be respectful to staff. It's not easy, cos I know I have worked in retail before. I have been sworn at, so I believe these guys go through a lot of bad customer s. JB HiFi is always busy with lots of people but you can find floor staff to assist you with no problem. They have a range of electronics. And if you find the same product cheaper elsewhere they will beat the price. Know what you are after or have at least some idea because you can get lost in there for hours.
