When you live outside a major centre, you need a reliable company for the purchase of technology online. I have now dealt with Just Laptops on a number of occasions and have found their service to be amongst the best. From the purchase through to the delivery and any follow-up information that is necessary. I would recommend them for any technology purchase, either on a personal level, or for business purchases.

Second day with my new laptop and so far so good. Bought mine online. Wasn't sure at first but decided to take the plunge after reading many good reviews. Fast shipping. Item as packed and shipped out the day after placing order and would have arrived on the third day if not for the courier taking time off over the New Year holidays. In any case, am I glad I found JustLaptops. The shop carries laptops with good selection of specs unlike the limited range on offer in the usual big electronics chains. Prices relatively competitive by NZ standards although, like many things in NZ, not as competitive as what I can find overseas during my travels (i.e. I can buy for my personal use during my travels - cannot wait for border to reopen). Not a complaint but just a suggestion in relation to the online shop. Maybe I was confused about the shipping. Website mentions "free" and something about staff will open box and take picture. Turns out I was charged shipping on checking out but I paid without making a fuss since the shipping fee is a small percentage of the value of the product. Don't know the stuff about staff opening box and taking picture - which does not matter to me as I think it would be a rather strange thing to do.

Great guys, honest customer service. I had bought two laptops from them years ago which was reasonably priced and put together fast (I had it custom built). But what makes the difference for me is their honest service. Recently, when I had a laptop taken to them with a bricked bios problem, they immediately knew what I was talking about (many stores had no idea) and because they couldn't immediately do it themselves they directed me to another place that could. That is honesty which I appreciate and you can't buy. Really appreciate it and I highly recommended them.

I would like to give them more stars, but can't so, a full five stars for the outstanding customer service that I have received, from the moment they answered the phone, until the lengthy resolve of a premium laptop that failed. I have received platinum service from every person on there team, bar none. outstanding and I can and do highly recommend them . Just Laptops, have gone far beyond the call of duty to resolve the issue that the machine had. I will be using them for as much as I can, in the future. Just Laptops, thank you, for you honesty, your integrity and swift action, at all points when dealing with your outstanding staff. It is so very much appreciated.

Purchased a premium laptop from them which ended up having some dead pixels. Was provided with exceptional customer service and a replacement unit. I don't consider myself a difficult customer but again I was not happy with the pixel quality of this first replacement. They were very understanding and offered me a second replacement which they inspected before dispatch. Very happy with my experience and my new laptop :).

Had an issue with my new laptop where the manufacturer changed the performance of the gpu (downgraded), and they offered to exchange to a different model - process was easy and all I needed to do was pay the difference. Very satisfied with my new laptop now and no issues so far.

Wanted to upgrade my 10yr old Windows 7 Vaio to Windows 10 so I could upgrade some of my apps etc and to improve performance as it was frustratingly slow.. It is in fab condition with all the necessary ports etc with good batt so that seemed a sensible thing to do. Researched places and this place looked promising. Desmond checked my laptop. advised that I unfortunately as I had a Gen 2 CPU it wouldn't handle Wins 10. He said he could upgrade Hard drive for a couple hundred bucks which would improve performance which would be good for Browsing and watching online apps like Netflix etc but given it was win 7 he felt it wasn't good use of my money. This Free analysis took approx 15mins of his time. He was gonnal just let me walk out the door. Due to previous reviews I decided on the spot to investigate buying another laptop from him as people had mentioned pricing was competitive. At no stage did Desmond push me to buy more expensive models. In fact he started low and 2nd hand before he went new. When I even looked at a new better spec'd more expensive model he pointed out what I would get for the extra investment.. clearly intimating that if I am not a heavy/gamer etc it might not be worth it for me personally. He had noticed me mention, weight, keyboard size, wanting to use a DVD unit so only pointed out models that did have the features I wanted. I walked out with a brand new Asus. I checked later when I got home and the nearest/best deal for my model was $50 more expensive. I am super super happy and my Asus. It is just perfect for me. It was so easy to set up and I am typing this review with it. The whole process took less than an hour. I wasn't overwhelmed by choice and aggressive sales people. On leaving I asked Desmond why he didn't just offer to do the upgrade to get the $$. He said that its important to him that customers are happy or else they won't come back or will complain later. I reflected on my purchasing experience of my Sony Vaio which was in a large store and how little support or care I got which was such a contrast in experience. So don't be fooled by the inconspicous storefront of this place. If you want to purchase a new laptop that includes a personalised sales AND post sales service desk by default which will be competitively priced and honest people then I recommend.

I spent literally over a year trying to get Acer to repair or refund my computer and eventually came to these guys to ask for help. They had me set up with a new computer faster than you could blink and everything fully sorted. I'm a software engineering student in my honers year so my computer working rules my life. I can not recommend these guys enough and am super happy with the service I received from their returns people.

Went this morning to Just Laptops with a small error message that I could not solve. Technician fixed it in 5 minutes, explained what the problem was and would NOT take any payment. Excellent customer service. To buy or repair laptops this is the place. Thank you.

Very good prices and service. I purchased a monitor from here, but it wasn't working properly. It was easy to return the monitor for an exchange of another model. The second monitor was a bit cheaper than the first so they refunded the difference. I would recommend this store.

5/5. Small business with the very best prices. Don't let their store arrangement disuade you. You're not going to find more honest and friendly staff elsewhere. Quick to help, quick to find you exactly what you need at the very cheapest prices. If you're looking to buy a computer I would highly recommend them. Cheaper than most retailers who pride themselves on being cheap (PB) and even most online stores.

Very good customer service. Bought an item off display. Still in very good condition but paid 40% off retail elsewhere. They also chucked in a free laptop bag and wireless mouse as I had to travel between couple of stores. Highly recommended.

Update at 2:00 pm : The owner of the shop honored the deal and texted me that the product was faulty and promised to deposit the refund. Horrible service so far. I bought a brand new ASUS laptop on 20 Feb (yesterday late afternoon) which, from the go, had been hard-freezing (forcing me to shut it down from the power button constantly). It freezes again and I bring it in to the Mt. Wellington/Ellersile store for a full refund or replacement as the product has not been working properly from the start. It had been less than 24-hours since I bought the laptop. They refuse to full-refund instantly as they have to check whether the laptop is DEFECTIVE OR NOT ( quoted 3-5 days work). HOW can the product NOT be DEFECTIVE when it has been hard-freezing from the START. One of the rudest salesman I have dealt with as he repeatedly threatening and blaming, I have to start university tomorrow and very tense, the sales person (looks like the owner) even said we should charge you for the checking the computer! We are now waiting today if this is resolved and will write an updated review, so far, bad experience.

Phoned them and specified the exact WiFi card that I was looking for - three times!!! Guy told me they have 3 in store. Arrived there 10 mins later. Nothing. Walk out with an inferior product and slightly upset that the item was not discounted as promised. Received a phone call from JL fifteen minutes later acknowledging that a mistake had been made and they responded with a satisfactory resolution that I gladly accepted.
