Matt was a very helpful sales person. Fortunately I was able to go straight in. 5 people waiting outside when I left as only 2 customers allowed in at a time. Click and collect was busy.

I don’t feel like the service here is great, especially compared to the flagship store. They have recently restricted the store to till only access. This made it difficult for me to discuss and review a few items I wanted to buy. I ended up going elsewhere because of this

Good price and product range in a HUGE store. Competitive pricing even without discounts and have newer/updated models of PC/laptops than Harvey Norman's and Noel Leeming etc. Handy location and ample parking. Opening 7days to meet customer needs. Service is friendly though inconsistent as this time around, staff made us felt rushed as I think they are still under sales commissions incentive structure. Not all staff are experienced in product knowledge, including extended product warranty by Prudential Insurance. Perhaps more training is required to all front line staff so they don't in trouble with the law like Noel Leeming did with NZ Commerce Commission. On this occasion, I knew more than the sales person as I studies the product before visiting the store so can have my questions ready. The sale person was more intesrted in doing the deal then answer my questions.

Lovely staff n efficient service with online order n pick up! The security guards there are so courteous!

Buy All my Kit from PB Tech .. , Great prices and great after sales service , Pleasantly surprised , My new PC failed ( SSD died ) dropped it in 11am .. expecting to wait 3 to 5 days ... ... Was fixed by the end of the day under warranty no issues ... Highly recommended buying your Tech from these guys ..

Sorry guys but.. I know your good at your stuff, but if you don't plan to answer a phone call then make it so that people know this. Basically it's rude behavior in case you didn't realize that. Yes Yep I know your busy. So are we all in business.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, and despite being busy and at red traffic light settings still were very helpful in getting the items we needed.

Good prices. Ordering process is good, with stock level information, options, fast and efficient. Customer service is a little impersonal but polite, fair and efficient.

Once upon a time this PB Tech store was a smaller place with a some electronic goodies available at a reasonable price. 👍 It's grown a bit over the years in every dimension: these days they offer a seriously extensive range of electronic products and services, are staffed by knowledgeable people who are happy to assist if you ask, and they have a very good Web presence. 😊 If I had to choose the one thing that I really like about PB Tech it's that they have not forgotten they are 'Traders' at heart. This means that from time to time they have great deals on some products. ⌚ So best to keep your eyes open for these when you pick your time to go shopping for electronic kit. 👀

Excellent service they even bring your order out to your vehicle unlike the Manukau store where service is sadly lacking.

Giving half stars to stores supportong the Govt's blackmail programme. C'mon... do the right thing. Ditch the masks.

During level 3 lockdown click and collect was fast to get notification and also the queue moved really quickly. Staff were friendly.

Wide selection but didnt have the canon battery I needed and no offer to help me get it..well I suppose you cant have it all. Edit: I came back looking for a part for another product they sell, again no joy...I need to contact the manufacturer directly...poor follow up. Lost another star from me.

Great pricing and variety. Cables, adaptors, computers, tablets, cellphones, printers, cameras, lenses and they're open on weekends as well, wich is great if you only can go on weekends. Plenty of free parking. Click and collect also available.

Good PC & entertainment store w/competitive prices, but the whole store is messy & dated layout right after extending your existing North Shore branch. Check your competitors out! They now have showroom layout designs, unlike your dis-organised retail store. Please consider this as a feedback & change the overall look of your store in the future thanks!

A busy computer store that is very well priced and always has been. Huge range of products including cell phones, tablets, drones, desktop PCs, laptops, gaming, PC components, networking, modems etc. Its your one stop shop. Worth a visit.

It's nice to have a PB Tech store nearby as they have the best tech deals. I got my black friday shopping done already, thanks to their deals.

This place has a great selection of products, but sometimes it's really hard to find a staff member to assist. When you do find one they are very helpful. Add 2.5% to all the prices if you want to use a credit card. Overall the best place to get a PC

Click and collect good service, but when a customer like I saw buys a big product like a TV would be good if there was a trolley to help, you can always sanitize it between each person.

Great experience, knowledgable and friendly staff, really appreciated the customer service I received from Moon who went the extra mile helping me set everything up via email and over the phone. She was fantastic! Very happy.

PBTech have great pricing and an awesome range with lots of stock.

Jackpot. We saved $600 by getting a refurbished ex-demo iMac instead of a brand new one from Apple, then I waited a fortnight before reviewing just in case it fritzed out. It's running beautifully, so I think we'll go back and spend what we saved on some hardware accessories.

Helpful staff. Prices are on point. As others mentioned, one particular lady at the front desk can be grumpy some days and friendly on other days. I buy everything from this store as they have fantastic selection.

Couldn't help with aerial connection and said Jaycar wouldn't be able to either...but Jaycar did help. Pays not to listen sometimes. Went back again a few months late for some more parts, and they were helpful. Updated my rating to 3 star.

Had my custom pc built here a few years ago. The team was amazing and helped me build my pc to suit my vfx needs. Highly recommend their services.

Service has much improved all my recent purchases have gone more smoothly, good to see there getting the message on better service. For example when I picked up my TV the guy out the back was careful with it and even got me string to tie it down given how busy it was Friday 13 sale I appreciated that. Well done the boys out the back.

A large PB Tech store on the north shore. Wide variety and range of products is available. Some or the other promotions are always going on. The staff can be busy at times and hence hard to get hold of for product queries etc. Click and collect is available. Ample parking is also available, but can be full on busy days and weekends. Well recommended.

Well as we all know, PB Tech is where you go for a reasonable deal. It's just waiting for a staff member to ask a question is the issue, but overall that's it. When you get to talk with someone there they are always very knowledgeable.

Very busy compared to the noel lemmings and jb hifi we went into that day. Despite long queue at checkout, my partner joined queue while I quickly looked for a couple of items and made it back in time to deliver goods to partner in queue just before she was served at checkout.

Always good but had issue with in car charger as it didnt work. Replaced without question but could have done without the time taken to return it and an apology would have been good, a smile even!

Price is competitive and all the toys are here... If you can find them! Crammed products are in an organised mess. Service is almost an after thought as the staff are more focused on talking to each other than delivering customer service. Catching their attention is next to impossible as they always seem busy, doing what i don't know? If i didn't have to go there, i wouldn't! I think i might try their online service, maybe it'll be a better experience... Or not! 3 Stars only just because they have a lots of products otherwise I'd only give them 2 stars. Get your customer service sorted PB, poor!

The store is big and has a great range of stock. It’s pretty busy, so can sometimes be hard to find a sales person, but there’s usually plenty floating around. The team are very helpful.

Very well organized Black Friday sale at Gle field store. Lots of friendly staff on hand, no lines. Big heads up to the security guard at the entrance with hand sanitizer and mask. A+

However, the staff lack a depth of knowledge on the products they are selling and I had to correct the salesperson on the specs of a laptop I was looking at. My experience was wrapped up nicely when the lady at the counter took pride in what she was selling by cleaning the dust off the headphones I was buying - great to see that.

One of many PB Tech branches located nationwide. Staff are really friendly and they are willing to help you out on your problems. Prices are similar to competitors. It's good to check online on stock levels before visiting as the store is smaller compared to other branches. I got my RX 5700 here upon launch, they scanned the serial numbers properly and I got my card happily. Would recommend.

Hard to fault. staff are polite and easy to chat with. Their refund policy is top notch in NZ, especially the best price guarantee allows you get your money back within 1 week after purchase.

This has to be one of the busiest electronics stores I've ever seen, but the army of staff marshal everyone with an almost hive-mind awareness of the bustling (but polite) chaos of consumers. This place is POPULAR. The staff are friendly, helpful and amazingly knowledgeable. They will get you what you want, if they have it, with instructions being flicked between staff members like packets on a network. Your visit will be made even more convenient if you use the store website to check stock first (a great feature). Also, you can order stuff on their website and collect it from the store, which is usually very quick. This place is a great driver for change in the NZ tech retail sector.

Very helpful. One of NZs best technology outlets in my opinion. Good variety, good prices and helpful staff. My son was shopping for his first phone and was well pleased to come away with a better phone than he thought he could afford.

Yes, they have the stuff you want - believe me. Service assistants wasn't very interested in listening exactly to what I asked, and wanted to follow a different route that would have costed me a lot more. In the end they relented and my suggestion to what part would work best and cheapest was correct. Where's the friendly smiles at the Service desk?

It was good. At first I could not locate what I wanted as this store has so many things but when I asked a store associate, he was quick to help and locate multiple varieties of what I wanted. My visit to the store was good and I will rate this a 5-star.

It's the place to go for anything Tech! The staff know there stuff, there prices are great (you can always find a cheaper price if you want to hunt for it). 10/10 for ease, shop time, and simplicity. They even sell products you can't yet buy in NZ such as the Google Mini.

Great products at very reasonable prices. Deceptive "sales" are the only reason I don't give a better rating. They don't list their non sale prices. After research savings are negligible, and the hard sale tactics just aren't worth exposing yourself too. Still, recommend when there isn't a sale on. Ironic.

They generally have a good range of stock so you can get something NOW! Pricing is typically very competitive and at least as good as other places. Warranty claims need customers to have a careful approach as sometimes staff can come across as s bit negative if the widget is 'broken' or the length of warranty isnt obvious. But a polite, positive approach with good research has always delivered the right result for me. I like P B.

These guys are always great to deal with. They generally have a large selection of product to choose from. You can do your shopping online or you can do in the store. They are normally great with shipping the goods on time when they have the product in stock. I would definitely suggest check online for a product first to make sure they have it and then you can also check if the particular store has stock of the item you are looking for. Their products are also very well priced and they have regular special on the go.

Asian staff could be a bit friendlier, they always seem unapproachable. Lucky I managed to get a staff member that was nice and helpful

Just picked up my GPU and my god the lady serving me was miserable! Didn't even say goodbye to me, killed the excitement of getting something very difficult to get hold of these days.

Fantastic technicians here. Purchased some faulty goods from another store, was redirected here, problems diagnosed and resolved on the same day. The techs here were superb.

Haven't really used them as much as I thought I would, i understand security against theft and all but it does feel like you're entering customs at the airport. Staff are ok and some of them knowledgeable about technology and the products.

I have purchased many items from PB Tech, from a HP Pro notebook to various cables and other electronic equipment. I have never had any issues with items that I have purchased and also found the staff to be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Prices I have found to be reasonable, although slightly more expensive than some online shops, I prefer buying some items from a physical shop.

See, it is a good place to shop for computers, laptop, etc. They have a lot to offer. They have expanded their store. But I always find PB tech a bit of a mess. Needs more presentation, I think. Also, this particular branch have a number of staff walking around but the product knowledge is quite limited. So make sure you do your own research on the item you want to buy.

They stock all sorts of useful things. The service is ok but not great. Prices are good generally.

Massive range. But not always the best prices. SOME things are priced amazingly however alot of things are as you would expect. The main reason I shop here is they can do you a running cash account so all of your purchases are kept on a nice easy to find profile under your name and phone number. Dont remember if something is still under warranty? Just ring em up and ask. Only other let down is the staff are usually found talking to each other standing around the computer stands rather than tending to the line of people that ends up forming at the back counter

Good sales backup. After having two cheap Ollee laptops faulty within warranty period, PB agreed to upgrade to a better brand. Customer sales seem a bit uninterested at times...perhaps this could be improved on.

Good decently prices tech specialized store. Prices can often be beat online if you check price spy, and their specials are usually really underwhelming. However they keep a good amount stock on-hand and are willing to barter for a better price.

Good place to shop tech stuff with reasonable prices. However, some of the staff are not quite up to the expectation as they are not very helpful and sometimes shows that she/he is quite annoyed being asked question. There is an extra charge for credit card payment, which, in my opinion could be waived for the expensive products. Generally, PB Tech is a go-to place for PC/Mobile/Camera and their accessories and more.

All good and easy online. Store opening hours were hard to find online but I was first in the queue. At store 08:52. Collected goods 09:34. Click and collect worked for me.

It's a medium sized Store with most of your computing needs. Large selection of New and ex lease stock. It can be a little messy in there at times making it hard to find things but there is normally always some friendly staff that will do there best. If they don't have something they can normally get it in. Plus don't forget the cash discount. Makes quite a difference on those more pricy items.

Lots of staff hanging around to help. Great prices and plenty of stock. Tip: don't unplug any USBs from the display laptops if you don't like loud alarms and lots of attention.

Store is well stocked and has large servicing centre right next door. Unfortunately whilst they had most of the accessories for the item that I was after they had run out of stock for the key item I wanted (gopro hero7black) - ended up purchasing everything I wanted at Harvey Normans for same price as pbtech

super helpful staff, gave a list of parts and they collected them up for us. even made sure what we were getting was appropriate for our needs so we werent buying anything we didnt need 👌👌 top service. good to see a store taking care of customers to such a degree despite the store being so busy

Pretty good service.

I buy most of my electronic computers, cables, accessories there as they are a really comprehensive electronics store with good prices. They have weekly specials so if you are not in a hurry, get on their email list. Bought my last tablet that way and have bought several computers from them over many years.

Always happy when buying from PB. PC part pricing can get quite competitive but is also often on the high side compared to other stores around the country. Stock levels are great and I can usually get what I want straight away.

The guys here are super helpful and always get the right thing for you. They also have practically everything tech related, from phones to proper gaming pc's. They have it all. If you are not sure what phone or laptop to get; these guys are the ones to go to!

I have used PB for electronics repairs several times. Wait times at the service counter can be up to half an hour and the services offered are basic but reliable. I've had trouble having simple questions answered in the retail outlet and their products aren't as cheap as they used to be, ie... Quality screen protectors for phones they sell are cheaper at 2Degrees, Vodafone etc...

I had a great experience in the repairs side on Sunday 9th August the team member who helped me was named Bo Qiu (according to the reciept) and he was fantastic!! When I arrived he was helping an elderly couple with their computer and it looked like he had great rapport with them. He then helped me with my computer, showing me different options and getting it all sorted on the spot. I work in retail and sometimes the service at PB Tech can be a bit patchy. I was so impressed with this young man and I think he is such an asset to PB Tech - I hope you give him a pay rise and keep him on. Thankyou Bo Qiu!

Great online service and deals. In store, prepare to be studiously ignored no matter how interested you look in a product. Also don't expect to be able to find most things in store, it's a random mess.

The place is sometimes very busy and quite understaffed, but PB has nice deals during its sales - the Black Friday sale is really where it gets cheap. Otherwise, if you research a bit nothing in the store is really the cheapest price (as they would have you believe), just inexpensive. The store does have many models on display which is very nice.

Has just about everything you need except attentive service. When you do manage to attract a staff member, you'll find they're quite knowledgable. Best idea is to look interested in a laptop or ipad, that'll attract the staff then ask where them where the phone xcharger cables can be found

The place to go for all things electronic, anecdote I have bought a number of phones from here, they have all been good and well priced, one day I found an alternative cheaper phone retailer so I bought one from them, turns out it was cheaper because the phones were some sort of factory rejects/seconds and after returning the phone for replacement twice for faulty microphones I got a refund and went back to pbtech and was satisfied, so just go here

Quick fast replacement of my laptop charger. Bought one in June that must have been faulty because it stopped working. Kept receipt and it was replaced on warranty 👍 no questions asked.

The people here are what what makes the place worth coming too as much as the prices. If you need advice they can give it. It can be hard to find someone sometimes but worth the wait. Great range and they dont spam you much with emails (well not yet).

Great selection and good prices. The staff seemed to think my questions were a bit below them which wasn't so great. It was crazy busy but a little more understanding of those who aren't ofey with the latest hardware would be appreciated.

Nice shop. Some of the best prices. Bought a 32gb Samsung Evo Micro SD card for a phone. Got $9 discount on a $25 purchase. They now have PB Tech Repair Shop next door.

Staff are happy to help clients with questions and they are very clued up with the stock they are selling. Only trouble I find is the store is very busy and hard to get the attention of the staff as they are helping so many customers.

Bought my gaming PC here. Cheap price with quality products!! They know how to make gaming pcs. I play Overwatch every single day and have not had any issues with the product they sold! There are many staffs on the ground anf they were helpful. Highly recommended! Better than Noel Leeming or any other electronic retail shops.

Great place to buy tech products

If you want IT products this is the place you wanna be. Their price is very comparable to other online retailers with the advantage of seeing the actual products before buying it. This branch is much smaller than the one in Penrose.

Great selection of goods at PB Tech prices! The North Shore store probably has the highest number of staff to customer ratio of all PB Tech stores so quick help is always available. Parking outside the store is reasonably easy.

Love this store, there's usually always a good bargain to be found on computer & mobile devices, helpful friendly & knowledgeable staff and excellent product back up, always check PBT out first👍

The staff was super helpful, getting my sim card and 2 Degrees account set up for me to enjoy wifi across NZ. Couldn't be happier with them.

My go to place for electronic computer bits & service, pricing generally better than most others (except for occasional special super sales by the big boys) Service side for repair work faster & cheaper than other places I have used, recommended.

This is my first review... But I am so impressed with the after-sale support and the professional high standard and overall constant excellence at PB Tech Northshore. I would like to single out Bok and Tomma as they are the driving force that ensure this high standard is always meet. In the years that I have been dealing with PB Tech here in Auckland I have followed Bok and Tomma when I want or my clients want something different .. Example water Cooled Gaming PC, nas drives, or maintenance on water-cooled PCs etc. I have clients who use high end computers West Auckland, Northshore and South Auckland, and its those times I see Bok or Tomma at PB Tech Northshore. I strongly recommend that you give Tomma or Bok (who is the Branch Manger) a try.

Very helpful staff. Offered good recommendations. Cashier called me strong and gave me a wink. Might come back and buy her a nice seafood dinner.

Dealt with them twice and have no complaints. They claim they provide discount for council employees but it's usually non or $1 on some items no more.

Great place to get all your computer, networking and accessories. Staff can be a little hard to find when busy but overall well priced goods a great selection.

Price are not reasonable. Still they sell laptops design for windows 7. Just upgrade to windows 10 and price arrond $1500 - 2000 . .

Got told instore they dont pricematch with online stores, and then when I contacted PBtech head office they said they do price match with online stores. Overall not the greatest experience as a customer.

Great PBTech, large selection and very helpful staff. I really would get a second opinion on a lot of purchases though, often the advice provided isn't so much 'advice' but 'opinion'. Always take this into consideration.

The sales staff are knowledgeable and are actual Pc enthusiasts so are really helpful when building PC's for certain tasks. The telecommunications area is also great with friendly staff and good deals.

Went in to pickup repaired laptop for a friend. Super quick response from fellow at the service desk. Sorted and back out the door in under 5 minutes. Nice 👍

Lots of good products but as you enter and move pass the well lighted area you end up in dull untidy back half of displayed bits of products and spare parts. Not the most tidy PB Tech i have been in.

As a retail store, this branch didn't hold up to a number of its sibling branches. The facility is not well maintained and the displays need a lot of work. Their pricing is quite competitive though.

Great place if you know exactly what you are looking for and at a good price. If you need help don't go on a weekend as they are usually very busy and you will end up waiting for a long time.

Boom! I had no idea of the range they had on the floor. Lots of geek tech options but also carry phones and other home electronic equipment and appliances.

PB have the best tech prices in NZ. Not as big a store as their Penrose branch, but a good range & plenty of off street parking.
