I chose Computer help as they were recommended by a reputable online site as being very good, very prompt and excellent customer service. I was surprised at how quickly they got back to me having diagnosed the issue with my laptop as well as providing me with some great recommendations about how I could improve how the laptop runs. A couple of months later my laptop went into spasm again and I was grateful for the timely response from the technician. I agreed to their recommendation and noticed the improvement straightaway when I got home. The new drive has certainly made a difference and I am grateful for the work done and the gracious way in which it was communicated to me

I took my Dell laptop in for checking and , if required, fixing a battery charging fault. The problem was remedied and a health check carried out to improve the computer performance, Very pleased with the battery diagnosis and unit replacement and the added tasks to bring the computer back to as new performance. Paul rang to discuss the work carried out, reason for and benefits and also advised on ways to improve the machines longevity. All this was documented in the tax invoice. Recommend this firm.

I had such a great experience with Computer Help recently when I spilled water on my laptop. They were extremely kind and courteous, always responsive, and very transparent about their process. Their free loan computer service is a lifesaver, and they even let me keep using the loan laptop after my computer had to be transferred to another service agent, so that I wouldn't be left without a computer to work from! Really highly recommend, they're a friendly local business who have their customers' best interests at heart.

Needed front screen of iPhone XR replaced. They responded quickly with a competitive quote and immediately seemed more professional than other companies I contacted. The job was completed quickly (by the next day) and the new screen is of equal quality to the factory original. I have had screens replaced on other devices and you could always tell it was a replacement; not with this folks. It really is as good as new! They even called me a week later to ensure everything was working well and I was still happy with the service. I can't recommend Computer Help highly enough - they will definitely do the best job repairing your Apple product at the best price.

They did everything right with my Macbook including upgrading OS and when they realized my old Office was not compatible with new OS, they even installed Libre Office in my language (Japanese). Explanations were clear and they always asked if I accept estimated cost before they do anything.

Dropped my laptop off for some repairs to my wifi adapter; it was a super simple drop off process. They even found some issues with my battery along the way and contacted me to fix it and had that and my adapter done in the original time-frame they gave me. Desperately needed a new battery for my older model [early 2015] Apple macbook retina before university started. I began internet searching multiple computer servicing places most of which quoted me over $350 for a battery replacement, one place in particular quoting me $550!!! All the companies were going to take 3-5 days or longer depending if they had to order my battery in from overseas. The instant I rang Computer Help NZ, they ordered my battery from Auckland and within 2 days [over the weekend] they had my battery in store. I took my laptop in the following day and my new battery was installed within 24 hours, just in time for university. Being a student, I was extremely happy with the price I paid ($270) which was by far the cheapest I'd been quoted. The office was very clean and tidy and the service I recieved was extremely professional. I recieved multiple phone calls to update me on the progress of my laptop and was kept well informed throughout the process. My computer came back cleaner than I'd sent it in as and in perfect condition. I would highly recommend and will be back in the future if I have any computer issues!

Excellent, friendly and affordable service! Can be daunting sometimes going to a repairer but Computer Help were excellent. My lovely 2015 Macbook needed a new battery. CHNZ were able to quickly confirm the diagnosis and then got in contact with me to outline the repairs required, the timeframes and the cost. A few days later my Macbook was as good as new. For the past few weeks, my Macbook's screen kept getting darker and darker each day until it went completely black one day. I came here after visiting 3 other stores at Westfield. Initially I thought the mall would be a good option since it's the weekend and I was hoping they can fix my broken Macbook in a day or two. Unfortunately that's not the case! All of them said it'll cost $45-$250 for them to ship my laptop to their HO and there may be additional $1000 if the entire screen needs to be replaced. And fyi, the initial amount won't be refunded should I wish to cancel the service. I see no point of doing this if the cost would be similar as getting a completely new laptop. Then for some reason, I accidentally found this place on Google and it has great reviews! I came here and showed them the video of my Macbook screen turning completely black. They told me there has been issues with my Macbook model and Apple has extended its warranty. They then referred me to the official Apple service store in Christchurch and fortunately my laptop was indeed one of the models that were affected. I ended up using the FREE service program that Apple has. I can't help but ramble because God knows how much it'll cost me if I actually trust one of the stores at the mall who will just turn my Macbook to this free service campaign that Apple has and just scam us the non-tech people. Kudos to Computer Help!!

I give three stars as the service was pleasant, however they gave me a false diagnosis, a friend was able to make a simple repair on my laptop that was missed by the team. The service itself was professional and quick. I had financial restrictions and they stuck to that. They weren't condescending to me and explained everything in full. When my awesome but non standard (bought from AliExpress) laptop had problems with the charging port and/or the adapter, I had a hard time getting it fixed. The first place I called just flat out said no as soon as I told them I bought it from China. Then I called these guys and got Wayne on the phone . Wayne was knowledgeable, helpful and said "of course we can help with that" For the record, I work in IT and know good when I see it. (I dont touch the insides of laptops mind ;-) ) The staff were polite, helpful, professional and patient with a customer having withdrawals from her gaming laptop (special thanks to Sandi!) and my laptop is working again - the charging port has been replaced and they sorted me out with a really good and reasonably priced replacement power adapter. (I had been to at least four different computer places trying to get one) The communication throughout was awesome and I know exactly where the money I paid went. Thanks guys - I will absolutely be recommending you and have no hesitation coming back if I need to :-)

Very thorough written report was provided when I collected my PC. The report explained in plain English what was done to my computer and also gave options for providing further improvements to my computer's performance. All at a very reasonable price!

Friendly service but didn't do as good of job as I would have hoped for the price I paid. Computer screen hinge glued back together when they should have replaced it. Structural integrity of the laptop is now compromised and will probably fail in the near future. Monitor cable is now exposed outside the laptop..not good when you live near the sea with lots of salt in the air. Have emailed for a response from them and waiting to hear back. Redemption is still possible...

Fast and polite service. I went in around lunch time to get my laptops screen replaced expecting it to take a couple of days as you would with most places however they told me it'd only be ready the next at the latest. My laptop had died which I use to work remotely. I called them, they were very helpful and I dropped my notebook off. I was offered an urgent service (which was expensive), but they promised to work on it immediately. This is not as a result of my own expectations as I had queried about five places with regard to the cost of an iMac HDD replacement. The initial price/quote that was given to me over the phone was a little more than some of the places I called, but I seemed confident reading this store’s reviews that I was in skilled, careful hands. Upon payment, however, this price turned out to be almost double what was originally provided to me over the phone. A little increase is understandable but almost double more than expected seemed a little unreasonable. If this was expected, I would have sought the service of a different repair agent. Their overall service is more than the stars given: customer service was friendly, prompt, and personable; and the work completed was of a high standard. In spite of this, the amount charged leaves a bitter taste.

I nearly hired them again yesterday since the CPUs were overheating in my PC, but managed to install a bigger fan and heat sink myself. Not hard, just fiddly. Thank you CHNZ team for fixing my lap top. My lap top started crashing after 8 min on battery. I took it into CHNZ and they suggested a health check same day and found multiple things wrong as I had not been maintaining it well. They bench tested it and gave it back suggesting that the faulty battery driver could be causing the issue. Rather than replacing the battery immediately I got the lap top back to try and it crashed again so called CHNZ and they asked for it to come back in. They then were able to confirm the battery was stuffed and ordered a new battery for me. In total I was only without my lap top for about 2 hours. It is running so well now.
