Crazy Christmas shopping. Heaven for electronics, household appliances, games or small appliances.

came In yesterday evening to get an Ipad for school and had the best service by this kind lady she knew all about the Ipads and was so helpful and also when I went to the checkout the lady I had was also helpful she suggested for me to get applecare and explained a personal issue she had herself and explained how I can get It. Beyond grateful for that service I had. Thank you :)

Nik was excellent, probably the best service I've had at any JB around the country. Super friendly and helpful, did all the right suggestions for add-ons without being painful, and gave me a really good price.

I've been to a few stores to look for laptops over the past few weeks and had bad experience with staff at Harvey Norman who made the process harder than it needed to be. I didn't end up buying a laptop from this store because the Humm pay wasn't working but I had THE BEST customer service from NIK in the tech section. He seemed to know exactly what I wanted and talked me through everything in a calm manner and was super knowledgeable so I had to leave a positive review. Give this guy a raise!

Very good customer service. I bought the rgb keyboard 2 days ago but the rgb lighting effect is too weak and not what I am expecting. I explained to the gorgeous girl at counter and I got it returned. Really good staff there

Heard about coloured vinyl soundtrack to Netflixs' "Dark". Inquired at Riccarton jb, told they didn't have it. Sales person dude looked it up, made some calls and a week later had two limited edition colour vinyl pressings. That's old school record store service right there. Massive thanks JBHiFi.

What a difference a bit of service makes. Alex should be who JB use to do all there C/S training. He was awesome from start to finish and it was his service alone why we walked out $1700 lighter. Even after we got home he was available on the phone to help 2 technophobes.

Haven't bought in store for some time but do buy online. Which is a breeze and get items overnight. Both my recent orders were processed fast and shipped even faster! Hoping they open there range of stock up to more home automation products like Google home. Dicksmith are beating them in that aspect. both are Aussie companies so feel JB has more to offer us kiwis. Rather buy from JB than Dicksmith!

Yeah for cheap deals. We get into Japanese anime ( Anna May, for those who are ignorant) so JB hi-fi anime dvds can lure you in to a series for under ten bucks, you watch and then have got to watch em’ all, like Pokemon, If you buy one, then you must fork out big dollars, and but, therefore I have bought dvds for a dollar, cheaper than rent to return, instead cheep, cheep, cheep!!!

Wide range of products & collectables, after several visits I've found their gaming/gaming accessory knowledge slightly lacking, but so long as you know what you're after you'll be fine. Nice staff, friendly service.

Amazing staff and really great products I have bought a lot from here. But to specifically focus on some things my vinyls are really awesome which I tend to buy a lot from here and my phone which I bought in 2018 and works like I bought it yesterday. 10/10 great stuff!!

Was going to rate 5 stars as had a good experience buying my TV and overall think the store has large range which is great however I found out today that delivery had not been put into the system so unless I rang into to enquire about it I wouldn't have received my TV within the expected delivery time. The person that I spoke with did sort it by putting it on express delivery so all good in the end, but ultimately not worth 5 stars.

Bought a mini HiFi Sony portable speaker last week, eventually found the Warehouse is selling much cheaper than JB few days later. I was reluctant talking to the store manager but wife wanted me to give a try. The manager and staff were surprising me given me a price match base on the photo proof in my mobile. I was so touched and would definitely visit this store for many years to come. Lovely people there and lovely store !

Went in to have a look at phones, a lot of which weren't in store as opposed to on the web site so was disappointed. Had to visit the Samsung store to physically view and a display counter for the Fitbit's would also be ideal, had to visit another store just to view. Other than that Jb hifi is a very good store and the staff are always helpful.

Great store with awesome quality goods as usual. Very helpful staff who are polite when helping you find things even if they watched you walk right past it to ask them the question. The hand-made decorations are really cute and there's even a Ugandan Knuckles hidden somewhere in there, because no JB is complete without an outdated meme hidden beneath layers of relevance, love it!

Helpful staff on the phone, an item i wanted as a Xmas present was out of stock, a phone which at other main stores was at least $499 but advertised here at $399. I hadnt heard of the place so i assumed it was some dodgy online store & wasnt prepared to make that pricey purchase there. I used their online form to make a query as i really wanted that phone and heard shops were selling out. Later on my cellphone rang when i wasnt around and there was a message left, it was a very nice and bubbly girl answering my many questions. So i called back and got a different but no less enthusiastic salesgirl. Bad news was that store had sold out but had some ordered..no way of telling when they would arrive. However other stores around the country had them, if i bought online it wasnt guaranteed to arrive before Xmas which surprised me. But they could get a phone transferred to their shop quicker & i could pick it up in plenty of time. Really pleased as i didnt want to have to pay $100 more at places such as The Warehouse etc half an hour later it was the store calling to say the phone was there...i asked how it could get there so quick? And it ended up being that order coming in! Couldnt believe my luck, & what was really nice was that the salesgirl was really relieved and happy for me! Not many shop assistants are that nice. I had asked if i could pay over the phone with my debit card and get it courierd (lets face it Riccarton mall at Xmas? Madness) but apparantly they cant process an order like that. So went in, the shop was confusing as couldnt find a counter or till etc when you walk in, or staff to ask where one is, at least 1 other couple were looking bewildered as well & we overheard a customer saying the counter was way at the back of the shop. Its a big, long shop with a kind of tier you go up. Lady at till served quickly and nicely, & got the treasured item $100 less than other shops so very happy, would reccomend.

Jb hi-hi is literally the only international trade business i know in New Zealand that has proper and complete and fair import-export systems. The prices properly match the world standards for the products. Translation, you don't get ripped off at JB hi-fi. The prices are actually fair!

Unsure whats with the negative feedback's, I have been to JB Hi-Fi at least half a dozen times since it opened, probably more, and have only ever received excellent service from friendly helpful staff... I had an issue with a purchase, the first I have had at JB Hi-Fi, and took it back today, it was rectified immediately and professionally... I will definitely keep coming back. It would be good to see more people post positive comments when they experience good service, we tend to be much faster to complain when its negative.

I had a faulty laptop so it had to be returned. Jb-hi fi sent it off for repair, it came back still not good. Terry (sorry if I'm spelling your name wrong) done a fantastic job with dealing with it and replaced my laptop for the newer version as my laptop wasn't being sold anymore. Couldn't thank her enough for the outstanding customer service. Cheers

Best store for tech and cds , DVD’s in Christchurch don’t listen to all these other comments I’m really confused every time we go in there the checkout staff is always nice they listen talk and when you go to ask about something the staff try and help you the best they can and when you enter the store and go into the main walkway beside the apple section staff is always there they say if you need help and if you go in the bottom level there is usually a staff member so the store is the best tech store that I know of in Christchurch go there!
