Reviews of Hawke's Bay Airport
H.Popped into HB airport yesterday on my bike, for a coffee and snack. Disappointed that the forecourt is still not finished. However the coffee was great and the snack was tasty. The parking for bikes is very good.
T.I fly here for work from Auckalnd on a weekly basis......That Breath of Real fresh air as soon as you exit the plane, the vast beauty and fields surrounding ya and the very easy simple process of going through Hawkes Bay Airport makes it all the more enjoyable n less stressful when departing or arriving.

Interior renovations are complete and the airport is so stunning, spacious, luxurious, accomodating and well designed, fabulous job to the builders and planners, great stuff AIR NZ!!!
M.A beautiful provincial airport. We were farewelling a family group, including the dog; the staff were extremely helpful with the labeling of baby car-seat, stroller, luggage, dog crate. Quibbling over an excess 2kg weight allowance when the other suitcase was 3kg under the limit was the only sour note. Very proud of our new airport.
C.The new layout is a little bit stupid...especially the entrance/exit to/from the carpark. But good to see a newer airport inside.
One thing I liked about the airport before the renovations was you could watch planes taking off or landing while you were waiting in the lounge.
J.Have not been out to the airport since March 2021. What a transformation, well done to all the people that modernized it. Loved the spacious cafe.

P.Almost finished with the upgrade. Looking forward to seeing it finished. No-where near enough parking! Maybe the builders and renovation people are taking up some of them. Had to look for quite a while for a park. Be warned...get early enough to spend time in the carpark.
