R.We'd used the service for about a decade while living without a base in NZ. We found it excellent, including for lengthy stays out of the country. It took years to transition all our addresses to our Private Box address. The disappointing part came with returning to having a real letterbox and no further need for the service. We found Private Box had no plan for this process. You are either all in or all out. There is no middle ground for mail from addresses you've forgotten or only received mail from infrequently. There is no process where they could redirect mail that arrives after we unsubscribe - no interim (chargeable) service. They just destroy any mail that arrives once you stop paying. So it is a fairly stressful decision to stop using the service. It feels a bit like blackmail...
P.I used the services of Private Box when I needed to import an engine mount from a marine store in New Zealand that would not ship overseas. I dealt via email with Charles at Private Box and the item I wanted was quickly ordered and despatched to me here in the United Kingdom. Email response and overall service was excellent. I can thoroughly recommend the services of Private Box and I will have no hesitation in using them again should the need arise.

M.Three years ago I wanted to incorporate a company in New Zealand from the opposite side of the world (Europe), for a purpose that is assentially a non-profit organisation having a very limited budget.
First, at PrivateBox I found all the information necessary to go through the incorporation process myself and to understand all NZ compliance requirements without spending money for a specific company to manage the process on my behalf.
Then, during the following three years I regularly received from PrivateBox all the necessary assistance to deal with our mail, with our obligations regarding the documentation to be stored in NZ, and so on. With a local provider like PrivateBox, managing a company from abroad couldn't be easier.
Providers of this kind of services must necessarily perform verifications to ascertain the identity of their customers and prevent that the service is used to create fake identities and fraudulent impersonations. The verifications that they performed in my case were especially professional and non-invasive.
C.As a young professional flatting in Wellington, and later living & traveling in Europe. Private Box has been fantastic for having one address in New Zealand that never changes. It's taken the hassle of moving, as I never have to change address, and always have access to my mail from wherever I am. Thank you!
K.Fantastic service over many years!! The only problem has been the transfer to a new building causing a fair bit of chaos, hopefully that will settle down, but for now it's dreadful.
New customers won't have that issue though (unless the company relocates again, fingers crossed they don't).
