Fernando Ramirez from this practice is amazing at listening to patients’ concerns and does his absolute best to address them properly. The receptionists and dental assistants are really friendly and professional. I met Dmitrii Adaikin as my dentist and he went above and beyond my expectations to deliver an excellent dental treatment. The whole practice have been expert at their service, kind and accommodating in my case. I cannot recommend them enough.

I flew up to Auckland because of a perceived misunderstanding on treatment for my mother. The Dentist Dmitrii was able to see us straight away and he thoroughly explained the procedure and process that took place. It was a massive relief to my mother and I once she understood. She has been coming here for a while and always raves about the service Dmitrii and team provide. Thank you for taking such awesome care of my mother and her teeth. I am indebted.

This was my first experience at a dental practice in NZ (from the US), and it was a great one. I shopped around first for affordable pricing and good reviews and that is how I found this family dental practice in Parnell. I did a general check up with Dimitri and hygiene clean with Lily. They both were really friendly and did a great job answering all my questions. Luis, the receptionist, is also very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone in Auckland who is looking for affordable, professional, and quick dental work.

Recommended. The appointment was easy to make. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. During the cleaning, the dental hygienist was methodical and thorough. During the checkup the dentist made my options clear and provided his recommendations based on my input. The dentist was aware of the cost of his recommendations and made those costs clear up front to avoid surprises later. The time with the dentist did feel a little rushed but this is understandable as the dentist's schedule was packed.

UPDATE: initial review was 1 star because of a problem but the general manager got in contact with me and was super professional and understanding and resolved the problem with me so I've changed it to 4 stars. Original review: I went to this dentist at 9am on the 10.05.2021. I had booked in for a check up and a hygiene clean. The costs I were quoted were for a checkup $77 and hygiene clean $180. I was also adamant on asking if these were the full costs I needed to pay if I book in for the checkup and hygiene clean and the receptionist at the time said YES. I arrived at my appointment to do the hygiene clean first. Lily was great, professional and thorough. I saw Dr. Dimitri for my dental checkup. He mentioned that we were going to do X-rays, (now, because I had booked in for a check up I thought that this was a part of the check up, as why would I be booked into something that I didn’t ask for or wasn’t truly informed about with the relating costs?) so when he says they’re going to do some X-rays to check my teeth etc I think ok cool. (Keep in mind, I’m not notified once of the extra costs of the X-rays). He proceeds to tell me that I have two cavities in my top two wisdom that he can see. He quotes me $175 per top wisdom tooth to be extracted. I decided I wanted to think on it before I make a decision and ask for the treatment plan to be sent to my email. I get to the desk to pay for my visit. And I find an extra $51 on my bill. The extra cost is due to the X-rays Dr. Dimitri had made without informing me of the costs before going ahead. I talk to the receptionist Luis and tell him my concerns, he proceeds to tell me that a clinician can not give a fixed price, it may happen that I would come in and they do a filling and something happens on my tooth that then requires more work and then I would have to pay extra. Which I understand, BUT I am certain that before the work is done you would NEED to notify your client of the extra costs. Which they did NOT do. I decided to pay the extra $51, when actually I have the full right to refuse to pay these costs that I was NOT informed about. Under the fair trading act (FTA), I have the right to clear and accurate prices for products and services, and factual advertising. So if I book in for a check up at $77 and a hygiene clean at $180, that’s what I should get done and should pay for. Anything extra I should be notified of the extra procedure and additional cost. I waited a day or two to think over the situation and then I wrote Luis (receptionist) an email asking if I could be refunded for the extra $51 as I think it would be fair considering I was not informed of the additional cost. He proceeded to tell me that a “general consultation with a professional includes taking X-rays so that we can give a full evaluation of the oral health per NZ standards” so why was I not informed of the extra costs of the X-rays before? Why was I told that my visit for what I booked in for (check up $77 and hygiene clean $180) that that would be all I’d need to pay on the day? Why should I bare that financial mistake they made in quoting me? I won’t be going there again.

Lily is one of the best hygienist that I have had to experience with, she is so nice and friendly. The whole process was so smooth and painless which made me feel more comfortable to come back for a regular hygiene again and again. Will recommend her to friends and families.

I recently had an initial consultation with Andrea and then an additional consult to have a filling. It was the BEST dentist experience I have ever had. Andrea was very thorough and explained everything that was going on with my teeth in detail. She even took close-up photos of my teeth and explained each one, so I could understand what was going on. She then wrote up a detailed quote so I could see the exact costs that would be required to solve my teeth issues. I highly recommend Andrea and her team and am so pleased to have found a reliable, reasonably priced, trust worthy dentist!

Dr Andrea Copplestone and her colleagues did a great job on my crown replacement this month. Most important for me though is Andrea's manner which is caring and communicative, putting me very much at ease. I would recommend her wholeheartedly, and although I now live in Singapore, I would try to schedule any dental work to coincide with trips back to NZ for the chance to keep her on as my dentist.

Came back to Andrea when I returned to Auckland. She is an excellent dentist - does great work - accurate, nimble and friendly. Our son goes here too. Strong recommendation. Support local.

I arrived in Auckland and needed to see a dentist as an emergency on a weekend, I had an apt straight away and then they rang me a couple of times to see I was OK. On Monday I needed to go in and have my tooth extracted. I was terrified, the whole team where amazing and I can honestly say it was 100 % painless. The dentist was very caring, gentle and professional and I feel so happy to have found this surgery and will join them as my regular dentist. The reception, assistants and dentist all are amazing.

I've been going to Parnell Dentistry for over 10 years and during that time my teeth and gums have improved dramatically - I no longer have sensitive teeth! I've also lost my fear of going to the dentist due to how careful and understanding Andrea and her team are. I happily turn up every 6 months for my clean with no trepidation whatsoever.

I been going to Andrea for my dental care since she began in the practise. She has always been very professional and competent. The quality of her work has always been excellent and I have had no problems after treatments. Andrea has also looked after dental needs of other family members including my elderly mother in law. She was very caring and carried out appropriate dental treatment to prolong the use of her 90+ year old teeth. For this we were very grateful as it played a big part in maintaining the quality of her life. I am happy to recommend her services

When I find a dentist I can trust and does an exceptional job, it's one less thing I have to worry about! For over 10 years Andrea has always explained everything thoroughly, given options, advice and excellent treatment. If anyone is a little apprehensive about visiting a dentist because they haven't been for a while, I can assure you that Andrea and her team will answer any questions you might have and will endeavour to make the experience as pleasant and as least stressful as they can.

Andrea (and her team) make you feel at ease with their warm friendly personalities. They are absolute professionals and perfectionists. I would highly recommend them. I used to dread going to the dentist after multiple bad experiences but now I go to Parnell Dentistry feeling no stress or worry.

When I first came to Parnell Dentistry it has been a while since my last visit to the dentist and I needed a fair bit of catch up work done. Andrea created a treatment plan and provided great explanation of what and why each bit of treatment was required, this really helped me plan for and make educated choices about the treatment approach. Going to the Dentist is never a pleasure, but Andrea, Linda and Michelle provided a relaxing friendly environment that was even good fun at times. I very much appreciate all their help and would have no hesitance in referring them.

I have been a regular client of Andrea's for a very long time. I require an injection for anything! and she has never once caused me any discomfort throughout a dental procedure. cant speak highly enough of these guys. i had to go here on a Saturday as an emergency as i was in a lot of pain. even though they were fully booked they still took time to see me because of my discomfort. the receptionist was very pleasant and helpful and the dentist himself was amazing. made my experience as painless as possible and was very patient with me as i am very nervous in the dentist. i enjoyed my experience so much i have booked to see them on a regular check up basis as they make the experience very easy . 100% recommend

Great experiences! Professional, quick and definitely precise. Andrea is a fantastic dentist and Michelle is also a great hygienist! Admin is also very knowledgeable and able to assist you with some inquiries before you even set an appointment! Saves a lot of time!

I have been with the practice for 15 years (from before Andrea took over). I am very happy about the extensive dental work that I have had done by, or steered to others and check though the process by Parnell Dentistry, over that time. Their service is always friendly, personal, confident and professionally competent. I am always struck by a feeling that I am a special patient - not an easy task to get right in a busy practice; especially one dealing with what can often for many amount to a daunting experience. The approach they take does neutralise that.

I have been going to Parnell Dentistry for about 2.5 years and always been very happy with Andrea's professional and gentle treatment manner. This week I lost a filling that had been applied by Andrea about 18 months ago - I was lucky to get an appointment the day I called and Andrea confirmed I had chipped parts of the filling. She renewed it twice! ( it felt not quite right first time) No numbing needed as once again her treatment was so gentle - and charged a minimal cost only. I can highly recommend Andrea and Parnell Dentistry.

Very happy with my treatment with Dr. Andrea and Dr. Stancey. Both super professional, made me feel safe the entire treatment and clearly explained the process. Plus, the clinic is an easy claimer for my southern cross plan, which made everything super accessible. Couldn't recommend this place enough :)

Dr Andrea and her lovely team are one of the best in central Auckland. Appreciate the free parking at the back and open 6 days a week with late nights. I went to Parnell Dentistry having not been to a dentist for over 3 years. They have a great service and friendly team. Starting off with a thorough checking over with x-rays and examination. A few minor fillings that were painless. Will be happy to return for a check up in 6 months.

We have been with Parnell Dentistry for about five years and leaving is a rather sad side effect of moving away from Auckland, This is one of the few practices we have experienced where real dentistry is practiced right through the entire process. A very comfortable experience. Everything, from the form I wrote my details on to the issues I was alerted to, were understandable and I was able to relax while undergoing the cleaning. I was able to set the pace and indicate if I felt uncomfortable, which never happened. Highly recommend, and will definitely use Parnell Dentistry while I remain in New Zealand.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Andrea and her staff. Going to the dentist isn't really top of my to do list and I used to put off going for years, after visiting Parnell Dentistry it has become a painless habit to come in for my check ups.

I had a filling which had partially dropped out and was snagging on my tongue. Sonia got me an appointment as soon as she could and Andrea and Michelle fixed the problem with their usual cheerful expertise. Andrea is such a perfectionist I never ever worry about something going wrong. She has turned administering local anaesthetics into an art form - just enough to numb that particular spot and you never have to spend a slurring drooly afternoon waiting for it to wear off. Michelle phoned the next day to check and see if everything was still ok. Nice !!

My son had an accident while swimming and hit his face on the gutter. There was a slight blood coming out of his gums/lips and complaining of tooth pain.This was Sunday around 6 in the morning early March. Searched for emergency dentist and found Parnell dentistry. Called them and I'm surprised someone answered my call. She told me that she don't have available dentist as of the moment but one of their practice somewhere west will open at 10 morning. I felt disappointed and dropped the call. We just moved in New Zealand so not familiar with the place. After few seconds, she called back saying sorry that this happen to my son but she will try her best to will help me. She asked me to check my son, his mouth and see where the bleeding is coming from, if tooth is still there, if it broke or if it's loose, if my son is fine no other pain, cut on his head, injury etc. while she's on call. She told me I should not panic since tooth is intact, the blood was just from impact when it hit the floor, it's not loose but she said it is important to get it checked by dentist and doctor to make sure there were no other injury . She gave me address of nearest hospital and dental clinic opening at 8am and ask me to bring my son. She said a cold compress will help in the pain and bleeding and to keep an eye on my son. I never experienced this type of service even in US. Well obviously, I did not pay her anything but she still help me.This staff deserves more than a five star. Never had a chance to thank her for her time and help. I only remember she said she's a nurse but forgot her name Jane or Jem something.... We are now settled in Wellington,visited our family dentist and just remember her.

Jane is an excellent dentist. My family visited her recently and she did an excellent teeth cleaning and gave great advise. She is really good with kids too.

I recently required some fairly major work on my teeth due to the fact that I am a tooth grinder from way back. Andrea suggested some composite work on 12 of my teeth and after alot of consideration and concern I chose to go ahead with it. So the big day arrived and off I went in fear of the next few days and the final result was still an unknown for me. Andrea proved to be a perfectionist with the sculpturing of the new composites. She really did give me my smile back and hopefully some extra life for my teeth. I have to mention Lynda who is Andrea's dental assistant. At every step she comforted me,assured me,took the fear away and made the experience all worth it. Lynda has a wonderful sense of humour and even managed to get the 3 of us to giggling point at one stage through this fairly serious procedure, but also maintaining a very professional and conscienious manner with her work. Thank you Andrea, Lynda, Sonja, Sarah and Michelle..a great team.

Andrea's practice delivers a very high standard of dentistry,confirmed by my orthodontist. I needed emergency dentistry at an inconvenient time they accommodated this willingly. I was extremely appreciative.

This is the only practice I have ever experienced that truly takes the holistic approach to their patientsâ health and mouth care. The team has eradicated problems I have generally experienced with my teeth and their maintenance plan ensures that the time & money spent is completely worth while.

It's rare to find a dentist this GREAT & so HONEST! Dr Andrea Copplestone, really enjoys what she does and picking to go to a dentist that is passionate about their profession in my humble opinion is priceless. I have recently been going to see respected Dr. Andrea Copplestone and she is definitely the best there is. I really find that she is gentle and any work that I have done by her is a work of art. My post treatment pain is minimal & when I've ever had concerns they've been minor but have been attended to swiftly. For me, I like the fact that I can email her and know I'll get a reply to it. I used to dread going to a dentist (believe me - I am the anxious patient), my experience at Parenell Dentistry turned me completely around in a short while. I wasnâ t subjected to any lectures like you would expect at other dentists, I appreciated the education and being told about oral hygiene and the way forward. Dr. Andrea Copplestone is definitely a dentist that does not do things by half measures, this is a quality experience. However, I could not end this note without acknowledging her rather lovely team, Linda, Sarah, Sonia, and Michelle, everyone here gives you the patient, the allocated time you need and there is no element of Rush. I cannot ever imagine going to another dentist after meeting Dr. Andrea Copplestone and her awesome team.
