I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr Han Choi. At first I was pretty anxious and terrified but Dr Han choi and his team have put me at ease and made me feel reassured. I found the whole process very efficient and professional. And most importantly, you may not believe it but I literally had no pain!!!

Dr Han Choi made the surgery a breeze! The team were calming and very reassuring with my slight fear of needles. The recovery team are very informative and friendly.

This morning I had my first ever tooth implant. After weeks of nervousness at the thought of it, I can’t recommend highly enough the treatment I underwent today with my Specialist Sam Goldsmith. From beginning to end it was such a smooth pain free experience ( with the help of a little medication), to remove a very troublesome molar, and replace it with a titanium implant. Sam made the whole experience such a breeze and totally pain free. I cannot thank the team enough, and would not hesitate for a second if other surgery was ever required. Jenny Thorpe.

I had three impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr Han Choi under IV sedation. Dr Han Choi was recommended by my dentist, who said he thought he was the best oral & maxillofacial surgeon in Auckland. His faith was not misplaced. From the initial consult, to the surgery and the post-op care I felt that I was in a very safe pair of hands. I was dreading having the surgery, but I hit it off with Dr Choi at the initial consult and he really inspired confidence in the process. I had the surgery a few weeks later and it went very smoothly, taking approximately 30 minutes. I felt almost no pain in the recovery (although the swelling made eating a little uncomfortable). I took paracetamol for five days as a precautionary measure and then stopped as I felt I didn’t need it. We had a follow up consult about a week after the surgery where Dr Choi checked my mouth. He noticed a little swelling near one of the extraction sites so we had another couple of free consultations and to check it was healing ok. I could not recommend Dr Han Choi enough if you are having your wisdom teeth removed, his whole team were so pleasant and caring - I couldn’t fault anything in the process. Thanks again!

Had an issue with my nerve in my lower tooth. Service was pretty fast, no mucking around; very slick interior office.

I had all 4 wisdom teeth out by Dr Han Choi. I was in and out of surgery in under an hour. After surgery care was great as well. Next to no pain immediately afterwards and nothing at all after a couple of days. Absolutely professional as well as friendly by everyone at NSOMS. Would happily recommend him and NSOMS to anyone else.

I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted under general anesthesia today with Dr Goldsmith and his team. This was my first surgery and set the bar very high. Reception ladies were lovely, informative and efficient on arrival. Pre-op I met with Dr Goldsmith confirmed the plan of action and signed consent. Dr Lance Nicholson my anaesthetist introduced himself and went over the information he required and signed another consent. The finally nurse Jess did the final touches on my pre-op. It was a quick process however didn't feel rushed. 10/10. Surgery was completed in aproximately 40 minutes with no complications. I was in recovery for 20-30 minutes. My post-op nurse Ruth was very warm and polite. I'm usually a nightmare to wake up but clearly I was no challenge for her. Thank you Ruth! This professionalism comes from each individual's high level of patient care. Thank you very much everyone involved for everything you did today. I really appreciate it and thoroughly enjoyed the warm laid back approach. I will highly recommend anyone to this company. P.S I feel fantastic, minimal swelling and no pain. It's early in my recovery however I'm sure I'll be fine.

I was so anxious to have all four of my wisdom teeth extracted as it was my first time undergoing surgery, but Dr Han Choi (who I was referred to by my dentist) and his team made the experience as comfortable as possible. Michelle, my anesthetist, was also wonderful; I didn't even feel myself drifting and woke up with it done and dusted! My recovery was virtually painless, with minimal swelling and stiffness, I didn't even need to pain painkillers and was able to eat normally within a week. Perfect experience, highly recommended!

I recently had a tooth implant - titanium screw - with Dr Han Choi. After the initial consult I had a clear understanding of what the op entailed, without consulting uncle google. On the day of the operation I was nervous. The team were caring and supportive towards me and worked well together. As a result the op went like clockwork. Would I suggest this Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon? An emphatic yes!

I had three wisdom teeth removed by Dr Han Choi, and the experience couldn’t have been more pleasant or straightforward. I was nervous for the procedure, but I had no discomfort at all. Everything was explained thoroughly and the whole experience was very comfortable. Moreover my recovery has been so smooth and fast. I highly recommend this clinic and am so happy with the service.

Had my two right impacted Wisdom teeth out by Dr Goldsmith and his team. From the get go the service was friendly, professional and caring; I was super nervous for this procedure as I had never been under GA before; they reassured me and kept me relaxed about the who process. Recovery was quick and swelling was minimal, little pain for the first 3 days post op which is normal. All and all smooth and tidy job. Great work! Highly recommended.

What an amazing front desk team who were so welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much of an effort from the get go. Dr Sam Goldsmith was wonderful with my 14 year old, spoke clearly and made sure she was at ease during the consultation and his lovely nurse was friendly as well. 5 stars for a place who gave us 5 star service Well done :)

Fantastic facility, wouldnt want to go anywhere else. I saw Dr Rajiv Rajpal today for my Apicoectomy and it was an absolute breeze, he was open and honest about the procedure and what to expect, gave me all my options and answered as many questions as I had. I was abit anxious about being put to sleep for the first time but the nurses and anaesthetist were so lovely. Feel so silly for ever being worried. Highly recommend!

Dr Choi and the team were amazing to deal with and explained the process very clearly and comfortably. The team were very professional and clear which made the process very easy with minimal stress and anxiety. Was very nervous about having my 4 x wisdom teeth removed but with the new technology and the staff the whole experience was amazing.

I have had the best surgical experience. I had 3 wisdom teeth removed, i have had minimal pain and swelling to what I thought I would have (from past experiences) they were quick, my srit he's are in a really good place and haven't come undone! Just had all four wisdom teeth removed easier today and could not be happier with the service I received. I've had extreme pain with these and was told by who I was referred to that I couldn't get them out until next year so I rang these guys and they booked me an appointment the next morning and took them out straight away under anesthetic. The procedure was so fast and they were all very very helpful and lovely and made sure I was comfortable. Would highly recommend this team!

Had a really good experience all round. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Han Choi. I had minimal swelling, no bruising and was able to play football and start work 3-4 days after the operation. All the staff were friendly and it was so much more pleasant than expected.

Best experience having all four wisdom teeth extracted under general anesthetic at once. Fully no pain nor bruising after surgery. Medication given made sure of that. Just minor swelling and discomfort as expected on some days. Was able to talk and eat normally again after 4 days. Dr Han Choi and his staff did a miraculous job, deeply greatful, was unexpected, highly recommend!

I was extremely nervous about the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth, fortunately the reality was better than I could have ever imagined! The actual extraction was easy, and no recollection of it, excellent technology too! There was minimal pain and swelling afterwards, and although the initial day was uncomfortable, the following days were much easier than expected. Sam was absolutely amazing and reassuring; his skills clearly show by the easy recovery, and the nurses/admin team were some of the friendliest, kindest, and efficient i have come across. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Sam and his team to friends and family. Thank you for making the experience easy!

Incredibly efficient and pleasant experience! Dr. Goldsmith was always right on time and apologized when he was 3 minutes behind schedule. four wisdom teeth out in literally 23 minutes total. I was beyond impressed and would recommend this clinic to anyone. Thank you so much.

Currently day 3 into recovery after getting my 4x wisdom teeth and 1x molar extracted by Dr. Choi. No swelling, no nothing. Very impressed with the recovery stage and awesome staff who I had the pleasure of dealing with.

After being informed at the ripe age of 34 that it’s time for all 4 of my wisdom teeth to be removed I was extremely nervous and hesitant. After my first consultation with Dr Choi I knew it was the right call. His professionalism, friendliness and ‘ no pressure ‘ options extended to me reassured me that removal was the right choice. Very personable clinic. Made four wisdom extractions virtually painless and stress free. Would def recommend Dr Han Choi I had virtually no swelling post surgery and the pain was so easily controlled by minimal pain killers. Awesome clinic!

Dr Han and the team especially Kamila were very professional. The whole procedure was completed painlessly and quickly. I had some swelling and soreness a few days after the procedure and Dr Han managed to slot me in for a follow up on the day I phoned the clinic. Was very impressed with the follow up service provided.

Sam and his amazing team did a fantastic job. They put me at ease, were always smiley and friendly and I had very little pain with the whole implant procedure. I had had an implant a few years ago somewhere else which was an unpleasant experience and I was quite apprehensive about going through it again, however this was a completely different experience, I had no bruising and only mild pain on the first day. Sam and his team really looked after me so well. 10/10 would recommend :)

Such a good experience here. Recently got 4 wisdom teeth out with full anaesthesia and was the best experience. Going in, I was pretty nervous about the process and healing stages due to other people’s experience but had no swelling what so ever and minimum pain which would be gone after some pain killers. Highly recommend the Korean surgeon.

Got four wisdom teeth out and two required surgical means. Everyone at NSOMS and my surgeon Dr. Han Choi was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly and made sure I was okay during the whole process. Surgery went well also, lucky enough to have no swelling and bleeding was very minimal - I think I have to give this credit to Dr Choi for doing a fantastic job. Highly recommended. Also the facilities are top notch, clean and welcoming.

First of all, I have to say thank you for everything that made me feel comfortable and stop being scared of taking my wisdom teeth out. Thanks Dr.Han Choi and team for doing a great job, To be honest I was really scared of taking my teeth out that’s what I kept them and felt horrible for many years until I came here and my decision was right and worth it to pay for taking my wisdom teeth out without feeling painful that was better than I thought. Recently I had sugery for removing one of the impacted wisdom teeth in this clinic. I was so afraid to go any dental clinic, luckily my GP referred me to see Dr.Choi. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The surgery was performed well and not painful. No pain at all!!! Great experience :)

Highly recommend NSOMS. Was referred by DR Scott from Dentalcare West in Glen Eden. Dr Scott was very helpful from the beginning. Now starting with NSOMS. Entering NSOMS in my opinion very flash and looked very expensive. But as I approached the desk person who helped me looked very professional but helpful and efficient! Then came the consultation with Kamila, beautiful and charming made everything run smoothly and made me feel welcomed and less stress as this was a first experience for me I was nervous as I like to be prepared. All my worries wiped away but excited that I was going to get my first tooth implant and was happy that Kamila promised me that everything was going to be handle e.g ACC claim, 3D Xray and implant surgery. A few days later I was going in for my surgery. Again met with Kamila and Dr Han Choi who made it easy for me again. A few minutes later the surgery was done. A bit drowsy but happy. Everything went well and if there was an issues things were sorted. I am a very happy patient and would definitely return. If you have questions or worries NSOMS are very happy to help. Hi I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to have four implants done in my lower jaw so i can have a new life eating again by Dr Han Choi and his team, What an experience !! You will never be treated like this any where else except for here, Unbelievable that they have such a great team from reception through to the whole team involved Every thing was so good its hard to explain , They make you feel like you are a king and you are treated like one through out the whole process . Was referred to Dr Sam Goldsmith from Lumino in Takapuna for my daughter to have her 4 Wisdom teeth extracted. From start to finish, Dr Goldsmith and his team made my daughter and I feel comfortable, confident and well informed about the procedure. All went incredibly smoothly and I would not recommend a better practice than ‘North Shore Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery’.
