My first visit to Riverside was really very very pleasant. Reception staff knew exactly what was going on with covid regulations and myself as a new patient. My time with the lovely young lady dentist was equally as good. I was very impressed with her empathy and the extremely thorough examination she made before we discussed options for my treatment. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home to find the plan we had agreed on was in my e-mail along with estimated costs - very efficient. Whilst I never look forward to going to the dentist, I am confident my treatment will continue as well as my first impressions!

Riverside Dental team are the best! From the moment I arrived, Nicki was so accommodating and very polite. I had a traumatic experience with the dentist ages ago, and chose to suffer the pain (toothache) for years. Riverside Dental, took good care of me. Special shout out to Maia and Jackie , I can't thank you enough 😊❤! See you again soon!

My first time at Riverside Dental Care and felt very welcome. I am in a wheelchair, have MS, and moved after my former dentist made it hard work for wheelchair users. From the easy entrance and friendly welcome by Nicki on reception, to the very smooth transfer to the dentist chair. Maia my dentist put me at ease immediately. I previously dreaded my visit to the dentist , but the friendly and professional service of this Dentist is second to none.

Excellent service and team. Very friendly reception and practice manager. Dentist Barbara is really lovely, very kind. Very high level of technology, knowledge and expertise available at the practice to offer patients a holistic service. As an anxious patient I was greeted with a warm smile from everyone at the practice with every effort made to put me at ease. Barbara’s doggy is beautiful 😊. Cannot recommend this practice or team highly enough huge thank you from me 😊 I recently reviewed this practice above and wanted to leave a further review after a visit Friday but not tech savvy. Jo and Barbara are amazing very kind and patient. Explaining everything and Barbara listens to your concerns and works with you to achieve desired results. Pain free and competitive pricing. I phoned Riverside Dental late on Wednesday and had never used them before. The lady was very friendly and managed to squeeze me in at 10:30am the next day which was great. She said to come in 15 mins earlier to complete the new patient and COVID paperwork. The surgery was easy to find and plenty of parking. I was greeted with a warm welcome from the receptionist and Mike the practice manager. The reception filled up and there were no spare seats so Mike offered us his chair from behind reception which was very nice. My dentist Maia and the dental technician were both very friendly. I ended up needing just a quick fix which was painless and easy but will certainly be back for a full check up and would highly recommend Riverside Dental. My daughter has also been there and she had a great experience as well. Thanks

I don’t think anyone loves going to the dentist but I find Barbara is so good I am almost tempted to say I love going. She is knowledgeable, gentle and explains everything so well. I also really appreciate how balanced she is and that she provides and range of treatment options rather than just the expensive ones. I’ve been going to this practice for a number of years and have never had reason to complain.

Just recently I came to Riverside Dental Care to have a jaw splint made up. The team have been so professional and lovely to deal with throughout the process and my jaw has already seen improvement. Thank you especially to Maia and Mike, you have both helped me so much and I really appreciate the extra effort put in to make sure my splint was fitting properly and working as it should :)

We joined Riverside Dental Care when we moved to Cambridge in 2014. Although we moved to Matamata after two years in Cambridge we decided to remain with the Cambridge practice. The dental team are very attentive to our requirements and provide both excellent dental hygiene and surgical care. We can highly recommended Riverside Dental Care.

Absolutely love this place. The dentists here are warm and caring towards their patients and the dental care they offer/give is exceptional. Also the kind and friendly reception team go above and beyond their job in making sure clients are well looked after during their experience here and when it comes to booking in their next dental appointment. The best dentist I have ever been to. I had a few bad experiences with dentists in the past and it put me off going but since I have been to Barbara at Riverside Dental Care, going to the dentist is easy. The attention to your care and professionalism of the staff is outstanding. Best dental practice in NZ in my opinion.

Best dentist i have ever found i have been going here for at least 3 yrs now and i am still very happy to say they r the best. Great service friendly staff and always willing to take the time to answer any questions. This is a modern bright clean relaxing enviroment to be treated in. From the minute you make your appointment a friendly receptionist greets you warmly on the phone. Barbara c was my dentist . How refreshing it was she has a kind genuine friendly manner and gentle hand on yr mouth.i was totally put at ease. Both herself and her staff at no point pushed sales onto me. The location is perfect easy to find with good level parking in cambridge . I was happy with the price point of what i paid for and highly recommend the team that i was served by. Thanks guys .

I enjoy first class dining, and first class travel so I was pleased that I recieved exactly that when it came to my Dental. I came to Riverside because they had been wonderful with my young daughter and I then also had a first class experience. It was during Covid and I felt safe. My teeth are now amazing and for about $1200 I got 2 new fillings and a removal and replacement of my old black visible filling to give me a dazling white smile. I was astounded! If they only did facelifts I'd now be handsome! Fully recomend, Sir Peter Fox-Worthington.

Whilst stuck in New Zealand due to Covid I was unfortunate to break the side of a molar. Happily was able to easily book an appointment online despite being a visitor to the area. Dentist Maia Ackerman was excellent, giving me various options and informing me of the different costs, enabling me to make the best decision on treatment. I found my experience with Riverside Dental fantastic. As my appointment was for a replacement filling which fell out during Covid-19 lockdown, when I could have an appointment, they took all the necessary precautions required. I don't generally have an pain killing injections, so a dentist who can be extremely careful, and gentle is important to me. Riverside Dental gave me that experience with a smile.

Jacqui was quite simply amazing with my 9 year old daughter today, who needed a filling. She explained the process in a fantastic child friendly way. When she ‘put the tooth to sleep’ I expected my daughter to be in tears, but she didn’t even notice. I still don’t think she realises there was a needle and drill involved! Everyone left with big smiles, after a completely pain and trauma free experience. I would highly recommend Jacqui. Oh, and she does a similarly excellent job cleaning my teeth!

Riverside kindly fitted me in at very short notice when I had a dental emergency while on holiday from overseas. The staff are lovely and the dental care was excellent (and reasonably priced).

Finding a dentist that is interested in providing the care you need, when you need is difficult. Discovering one the also responds to your concerns in a sensitive and professional manner has been for me, virtually impossible. Hence the 300 Kilometres I was prepared to travel for a number of years until my previous dentist's retirement. Obviously, at some point, the inevitable was going to happen and I would need to start the search for another dentist. That search ended a few weeks ago when I discovered Maia Ackerman, at Riverside Dental Care. Thank you Maia, for your care and attention.

Due to major trauma suffered at the hands of my childhood dentist I have not seen one for 25+ years. Today I needed to see a dentist. The welcome that I got to the treatment that I received was just so humbling and wonderful. Dr Cater was the GENTLEST dentist I have ever come across. Her patience and understanding of my trauma was just amazing!!! For anyone needing a truly comforting, safe and unrushed dental experience.....Dr Cater is your solution.
