After many years of neglecting my teeth I had come to the point where I required a full dental makeover. Top and bottom implants, crowns and extractions. A friend living in Omaha recommended I get a consultation at Matakana dental care as he had heard a lot of good things about them from his neighbours and some of the locals as well. I originally thought that it was going to cost me more than what all my other quotations were since Matakana is a very high market area. To cut a long story short, I spent roughly about 30 to 40 minutes with Dr Vivek Jain and he inspected my teeth, took an X-ray and created a full make over plan and his quotation was much more cheaper than everyone else’s . Dr Vivek does amazing work and all the staff at Matakana dental care are very professional and friendly. They really look after you, from the initial operation through to aftercare and follow up calls. They really make you feel comfortable and talk you through everything. I travelled one hour and 20 minutes to get to Matakana dental care and it is worth it. Any future hygiene cleaning treatments or any future dental work I get done will be with them. Thanks again Dr Vivek and Sarita Smith and all of the Matakana staff. I thank you all and very much appreciate all your hard work. I’m always looking in the mirror at my teeth and getting compliments from work mates, family and friends on how great my teeth look. Amazing job guys thanks again.

My unwanted visit was without a doubt a fearless visit. I'm a coward that’s hates needles and dental pain. I had to have an emergency extraction and on Saturday too. I was fitted in to their schedule. When I arrived they could see I was not in a happy place but help me to calm down. When I was taken in to the exam room the dentist Sherine Hosny Hakim and her assistant claimed me completely the procedure was painless and I mean painless just a little pressure that is all. In all the staff where fantastic on this day to me, and as a bonus the cost considering the urgency etc was a lot lower than I expected to pay. Thank you, I will return when I next need their expertise and have no fear.

I went to 2 other dentist for an extraction the first said no and took 2 months to send a referral to the next dental practice who again couldnt conplete the job. I then rang matakana and was booked in in 3 days and got my extraction done ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN OR DISCOMFORT an i am a total wimp. The price was lots cheaper too for a quality job!! Ill be back again! Vivek and sarita thankyou so much!!!!

By far the best dentist I have been to! Highly recommend! Receptionist is lovely and the dental assistants are super nice too and work really well with the dentist. Dr. Vivek Jain is super caring and made sure I was feeling ok the whole time. I went in with pain, Dr. Vivek Jain did a couple of X-rays and found the problem and performed a root canal the same day. Procedure was painless and I have had no pain after. Received a call from the receptionist the next day to ensure I was feeling ok after the procedure and that I didn't have any pain.

I have been here several times in the past few years so wanted to comment on the fantastic care & facility . Vivek has the latest technology in his State of the art clinic . He is a very skilled & caring dentist . The pricing is very competitive. He explains everything & is happy to answer any questions . I would totally recommend Vivek for any type of dental work no matter how complex . It is a privilege to have such good dental care in Matakana.

(It's actually Joy Hunt writing this review. not John!) How often have you walked into a Dental Surgery for treatment wearing a weak smile and walked out with a much bigger one on your face? Well, if you're looking for that kind of dental experience, along with a cheerful and confident, professional, strong and young dentist, then Dr Vivek Jain, at Matakana Dental Care, could be for you! A few hours ago, I experienced a tricky and amazingly pain-free, wisdom-tooth extraction by him. Firstly, Dr Vivek's chair-side manner was easy; he had time for a quick chatter then after taking a look at x-rays (that had been forwarded by my specialist), turned around with a hearty smile that stretched from ear, and confidently announced that he was very happy to do the pull. . . .and asked if I'd like that! I gave my consent after reading about any possible risk factors, etc. . . . .but. . . . .at what estimated cost! I have never felt so elated from a dentist's chair before! Vivek's costings. . . .give or take a hundred or so, (should there be any hidden problems with the procedure) . . . .were potentially a little short of 1/3rd the fixed price quoted me (incl. ACC's contribution) by the specialist! So, Vivek is not only a Pro but Pro-humanity; I respect him and thank him for charging realistically on a very competitive market. Joy Hunt
