S.I was having a panic attack prior to arriving, I had not been to a dentist for approximately 5 years. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Dr Yeshua Vermeulen was wonderful and made me feel relaxed and at ease. He was very thorough in his explanation of treatment required. I am looking forward to returning to complete the treatment. I would highly recommend Stafford Dental Centre.

A.On Friday 7 January I had an appointment with Dr. Vee. I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in the room. He was so thorough checking for any infection in my tooth and is very clear in his explanation. I have a return appointment on Friday 14 and in future I will be asking to see him each time I need treatment.
J.Stafford Dental was recommended to me by a friend. I made an appointment to have a tooth extracted and met Michael who dealt with my tooth. Michael was polite and friendly with a good sense of humour. He gave me sound explanations and some very good treatment and advice. A real professional in my opinion. I am having a follow up visit soon and rather than being hesitant about a dental appointment, I am looking forward to the experience.

m.I recently traveled to NZ from the USA to visit family. On my trip I needed an urgent dental appointment due to an ongoing problem, that had increased during my trip.
My fiancé and I contacted Dr. Sidhom for urgent treatment, not only was he able to assist but he was eager to accommodate us on very short notice!
Upon arrival to the clinic, the appointment was approached with diligence and care. Dr. Sidhom was meticulous in his work and compassionate towards me as I have had a fear of dentist for many previous years. He was able to fix my molar, without any pain, and any discomfort. I left very happy.
Beyond his excellent skills, and kind nature. His clinic is extremely clean and sanitary, which is very important for dental hygiene.
Easily a 10/10 experience, would return again if I am in the area.

Would like to follow up on this review, as I recently went back to have a dental implant. Dr. Sidhom was amazing, he was very gentle with the procedure took his time and made sure everything was okay. The prices were competitive, and the procedure was done very meticulously. The practice has some of the most advanced technology and he did not waste anytime in getting the implant done, especially when i needed it. Amazing service, cannot wait for my implant to fully be done in 3 more months! Thank you!

A.The team are absolutely amazing! I had a great experience getting clearcorrect which was something I had wanted to do for a long time. Dr. Michael Sidhom made the process so easy and provided the best care during my treatment. I have never had anything major done to teeth and I was made to feel very informed and supported during my treatment. He talked over my options and understood my concern .
So he strengthened both teeth and evened out their appearance .
He was quick and efficient, explaining all the way though the procedure and finished off with photos of the filled teeth .
Something new to me, a real view of the work done. A great idea when your mouth is numb and all felling out of whack.
My teeth feel great with my tongue and look new in the mirror.

J.I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years because of pain and being very nervous and scared Normally I need to take pills to calm me down before I go . I had a broken tooth had to go . Omggg I was treated like a queen Michael and his dental assistant were so kind and caring . I had no pain and walked out with a new crown that was made while I waited and I got to watch it being made and told how everything was done . I feel amazing and I know I wont be scared following up in 2 week appointment I'm getting all my teeth fixed with confidence thankyou all so much I walked out smiling and feeling very very grateful .

B.A GREAT DENTAL PRACTICE. Before I had been to 3 Dentist for a 6 Tooth bridge assessment, all wanted months to do this work and lots of money. I was recommended to go and see Michael Sidhom at Stafford Dental Centre in Timaru. (Wow ) things really changed for the better. He managed to squeeze me in last minute for assessment and after the examination he said no problem gave me a ball park figure I was very happy with. He booked me in for a whole morning 4 hour appointment in just 2 weeks time for the bridge work. Two weeks later after 4 hours work I walked out with a smile and with my brand new front teeth in place. This was a very difficult bridge work and a challenge even Michael admitted.
(Yes) didn't have to wait months, all done in house and the technological equipment he used is out of this world. Michael is so professional and so good at what he does!! The before and after progress photos and the very high -tech equipment he used, coupled with his in depth knowledge that Michael used for this difficult work. He is definitely the go to person for all your dental needs and the Stafford Dental Centre team here in Timaru! I am very Thankful for such a wonderful experience :( I Loved it ) Barry Marshall
D.Recently I went to see Michael and ended up having an extraction. Having had bad dental experiences in the past else where, I was quite anxious. Michael was amazing, he explained clearly and reassured me throughout. I never felt a thing! I recommend him highly A+++
M.I got my wisdom tooth taken out just over a week ago. I was a bit anxious beforehand but seriously it was over before I knew it. I wouldn't go to anyone but Michael as he makes every dental appointment very comfortable. I've been seen by him 3 times now and everytime I walk out very content.
Excellent service with a reasonable price and excellent time frame. The staff are very friendly and make you feel at ease from the moment you walk in.

N.I've been going to Stephen Phillips ever since we moved to Timaru, and he's been brilliant, listening to me rave about Dr Who, and fixing my teeth. I hadn't been to see him for 10 years, until I noticed I'd chipped a front tooth, so I thought "hmmm...I'd better DO SOMETHING about that", and made an appointment. Stephen soon mended the errant lateral incisor, and commented, "Come back in and I'll do something about that broken back tooth." Stephen was referring to a second molar that I'd had a bit of bother with. Some time in the last 18 months, I'd bitten on something very hard, broke the tooth in half, and swallowed it. Anyway, last week Stephen rebuilt the tooth in about 45 minutes! I was very impressed! I think the fact that I didn't have regular dental check-ups, or decent brushing didn't help my back tooth, so I have changed my habits - I intend having yearly dental health check-ups, and I now brush with Colgate Optic White. Thanks again Stephen!
G.Honestly the reviews on here are true. This place is fantastic! The Dentist Dr Michael Sidhom was very thorough in the exam and wasn't pushing to just throw random costs in. He was very honest with me in what dental work I needed and gave me great pointers with my dental health he answered all of my questions in a way that was easy for me to understand. Even the reception staff were incredibly friendly and had an excellent attitude.
Excellent Service, Excellent dental work, excellent pricing, they even gave me a complementary dental care kit! including toothpaste, dental floss and a colgate toothbrush . Cannot recommend these guys enough, this place is fantastic!

M.Very professional and very honest. Do not try to up sell anything, Dr Sidhom just simply presented me with all my treatment options, pros and cons and costs. Very reasonably priced and much cheaper than any other practice I've been to around the area. Besides Dr Sidhom is a gentle giant who put me at ease from the moment I sat on his dental chair.
A.Dr. Phillips has been our family dentist for decades- it is a testament to the quality of his work that I have 30 year old fillings that are still perfectly sound! I reside in New York City and wait until trips home to Timaru to have my teeth attended to- I do not trust them to anyone else. For example, the last time I got an exam in the United States, I was told I needed extensive and very expensive work done. Dr. Phillips gave a second opinion and said it would have been a crime to proceed. He is not only supremely competent, but ethical as well. I highly recommend Dr. Phillips and his lovely team!
