Melissa is my dentist, she is lovely , friendly and caring. She did a great job with my multiple complicated fillings and I am happy with her work! Michelle is my hygienist she's super friendly and was able to make the uncomfortable procedure as pleasant as one could hope for. Doris the receptionist is always ready to crack a joke and she sings, so the waiting area is never boring😁, overall great team ,highly recommend 👌

Capital Dental on the terrace is really an amazing practice, the staff are amazing and friendly, and Dr Theo is really one of a kind when it comes to dental care. He is so patient, removes the anxiety around going to the dentist and is extremely gentle. If you are a person who gets nervous about going to the dentist - definitely go see Dr Theo. The staff always tell me in advance how much it will cost and in comparisons to other places they don't break the bank. I really recommend Capital Dental the Terrace

I reluctantly visited the dentist a few weeks. I no longer live in Wgtn but made a special trip to see Theo. He is gentle, non-judgmental and personable. Most of my family are also his clients and we all agree that he is the best dentist we have ever had!!

Michelle is my hygienist and Melissa fixed a broken tooth at short notice. Both were caring, sympathetic and efficient. Recommended.

I had not been to the dentist in years mostly because I am terrified of the dentist, needles and everything else that comes with the visit. However, Theo has been the absolute best at making me feel comfortable and even coping with the needles! Cannot reccomend him enough for anyone who struggles with fear around the dentist.

Very friendly staff. Melissa was informative and always helpful. I had 6 extractions done in one day and I wasn't in too much pain thanks to the sedation and the awesome work from Steve and the team.

I was recommended this clinic after having trouble getting appointments elsewhere in the area. Capital were able to see me that week, despite my case not being urgent. Dentist was prompt and professional. The real star of the show however, is the front office coordinator. So friendly and super welcoming. What a gem. I was having a bit of a tough time at the time and ended up canceling my appointment at the last minute. Of which I feel terrible for and do want to apologise. Lastly I was impressed with how reasonable the prices were. Some clinics I am familiar with are charging nearly double. Thank you for keeping it real. I will be recommending your clinic to everyone one i know.

Dr Theo is one of the best dentists I have ever gone to and the staffs are amazing! He takes his time to explain everything which is very helpful. I definitely recommend Dr Theo and team for a pleasant dental experience!

I highly recommend Capital dental. Their service is punctual and thorough. The practitioners are gentle, considerate and explain everything they do or need to do. This means you can make informed decisions regarding your dental care. Their communication is excellent and they are accommodating at short notice.

I have been several times in the last few years and am very pleased with Theo (dentist), the hygienist and reception. Previously I was in Melbourne with one of the best dentists there, and Capital Dental is equal to that.

I was referred to Steve at Capital Dental on the Terrace for an extraction under IV sedation. I'm a bit of an anxious patient after having had a bad experience in the past, and I'd had a bit of a rough ride trying to this tooth extracted under local previously - and was pretty worried about how this was going to go and it turned out to be completely unfounded. The whole experience was not at all like what you'd expect (no doubt helped by the sedation :D). Everyone was friendly and relaxed, the work was done in half an hour and all the concerns were behind me. Thanks guys, glad to have that over and done with - highly recommended :)

Theo has pretty much turned around the state of my dental health. I've been consistently impressed with the place and have been a patient for a few years now. All the staff are great!

I travel from Waikanae to the city to continue using Melissa as my dentist; she's so worth the effort as I know I'm in the best possible hands. The team are great, especially Dorris, nothings a problem. Thanks Capital Dental!!!

Was referred to Dr Steve to extract two impacted wisdom teeth the procedure went well and before I knew it, my two teeth were out and I was done the whole time I was worried over nothing. Highly recommend good service :)

I have been going to Capital Dental for four years. I started when I was a student at Vic, they had a good student deal. The staff are all to lovely to deal with. I dentist Theo was the best. He will take the time to explain anything you ask. Very calm and gentile dentist. I would recommend this dentist.

Had a dental checkup and a follow-up treatment that was needed. Theo is a skilled dentist and a very down-to-earth genuine individual that radiates kindness. The entire team there is professional, sociable and very hospitable. A very pleasant experience despite needing treatment for my back molars. Absolutely recommend this clinic.

Had a bad experience a few years back which put me off. I found Capital Dental The Terrace online and after reading a bit about their staff and what they could do I thought I'd give them a go. So glad I did! Melissa made sure I understood my options and was very gentle and thorough during the procedure. Thank you.

It was Labour weekend and I woke up in serious pain and could not sleep so I emailed this practice at approx 3am on Saturday morning by Sunday afternoon I had secured a appointment. So I was impressed by there quick response. They are a very professional team, on arrival the patient is able to enter in their personal details using their laptop located in the waiting room very easy to operator and the questionnaire is very thorough. The cleanliness of the dentist room and new equipment was A+++ and I was well informed, provided with glassware and I was impress when the dentist used a mouth dental dam before any treatment took place. Highly recommendable, thank you :)

Fantastic service. 10/10 Clifford explained every step of the examination. He was kind and thorough. After the examination he took time to explain all his findings and come up with a plan for future visits. Thankfully for the time being this doesn't involve fillings! This was by far the best experience I have ever had at the dentist and I would recommend Capital Dental to anyone, especially if you are a little anxious about visiting the dentist.

Went for a check- up using a treat me voucher recommended by a friend. Theo was friendly, gentle enough and informative. Didn't need any work doing but GA e helpful advice. Subsequently I went to see the hygienist Maria who is most personable, super nice, made me feel very at ease and good humoured - a rarity in dental places if you ask me. She answered all my questions and had lots of advice too (without trying to sell) which is always appreciated & useful. Would recommend these two without hesitation, especially if you're dreading it like I was!

When I discovered my high-school friend Theo had become a dentist at Capital Dental, I was quick to make the switch and have him be my dentist. It was the best decision I could've made when it came to dental care. I've been with C.D on The Terrace for, gosh, 6/7 years if not more? And I'll never go anywhere else for as long as I live in this city. I always recommend C.D on The Terrace to all my friends. Fillings, wisdom teeth removal, fast braces, hygienist appointments - I've done them all here and each experience has been a good one. Plus, C.D accepts my Q card which has been a huuuge help. I also really appreciate how the Frontline reception know my name and always give me a warm, friendly greeting when I come in :) Thanks for all that you do, C.D Team!

Really amazing service. Had some pretty nasty dentist experiences before coming here and saw Dr Melissa on the terrace. She was very mindful of that and was very thorough and explained every step of the process. Would 100% recommend. Plus they have a great student discount so get in there fellow students.

Paid a visit with treat me voucher and had couple of fillings done- excellent job done- reasonable charges- not sure why people complaint about dental charges, but I would say for the job I had done, it was very reasonable. Will return for the rest of the recommended works. Thanks for a great work on my teeth.

I don't like going to dentist. Full stop!!!!! But when I went to Capital Dental on The Terrace, I was met by two very friendly receptionist which already made me feel at ease. Even so more when I met Melissa :). She listened to all my "complaints" why I don't like coming to the dentist. She was very supportive and explained everything that she was going to do in detail. The same when she did the actual procedure. Felt like a walk in the park :) :)

Fantastic modern dental facility, professional dentist Dr Theo Kay also comes with a relaxed great sense of humour, excellent dental assistants with a fantastic chair-side manner, to the welcoming and friendly receptionist Doris. Thank you all for your exceptional service. I would highly recommend Capital Dental, on The Terrace, and can now confirm I've found my new regular family dentist for all my future dental needs.

Very professional and well run service. I've had two different dental hygienists and they've both been great. I've uses their services every six months for several years now and never had an issue. Sound and realistic advice - they've never tried to sell me any dental work I don't need (or, in fact, any - because I've only ever needed a clean up).

Like just about everyone I don’t like going to the dentist, but this place makes you feel comfortable and the people are so nice, it makes the whole experience almost a pleasure!! I would recommend them to anyone.

I personally highly recommend Capital Dental at 164 The Terrace Wellington.The staff are excellent from reception through to the dental nurses. Then there is Dr Theo Kay. He is not only a brilliant dentist but someone who genuinely cares about his patients.He explains the procedures perfectly and his demeanour is second to none. He actually makes me relax. Really thorough service. Clearly have great training and their explanations of what they're doing and why are always helpful. Good value. Friendly dentists, dental hygienist and support staff that help put me at ease when going for treatment.

Went for a general check up for the first time in five years and saw Melissa on the Terrace. She put me at ease instantly and provided an excellent service with advice about preventative measures and possible future procedures. Great for students as they offer a student discount also.

Dr Theo provided by far the best dental service I have ever endured. Very happy to recommend. The prices seem to be a bit higher than other facilities around but they make up for it with attitude!

Great Dental Clinic - Professional, Clean with New Technology. I have been few times & very Happy with the service & treatment given. Dr. Dikesh spent time explaining, advising & making sure I was comfortable & satisfied. The Dental Hygienist Jeenal has been Great as well . did teeth clean in Thorndon, this treatment was provided by Phillip. he is very nice patient and thoughtful. not only helped me clean my teeth but also let me know more about my teeth. give me a good advice about how to take good care of my teeth.

Went and saw their hygienist Phillip macalincag and he was amazing. Teeth and gums were noticeably better immediately afterwards, he was gentle and explained what he was doing at all times. They have been my dentist for 3 years now, and I will continue to use them again in the future. Well done team and we'll done Phillip!

We took our elder sister for extensive dental treatment. The team made it such a stress free process and were very supportive. Highly recommend.

I've seen both the Dentist and the hygienist at the Terrace recently and they've both been excellent. They explained what they were going to do very calmly and thoroughly and they were both very gentle. Great service.

I was referred by Dr Parmar.my dentist to Dr Parmar following an unsuccessful root canal completed a year previously when my regular dentist was overseas. As a result I periodically had painful infections associated with the root canal. When my dentist checked out the root canal she identified a potential problem that needed specialist treatment and referred me immediately to Dr Parmar. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Parmar; his professionalism, efficiency and the time he spent carefully explaining procedures were exemplary. I had 3 separate sessions over several months to remedy my root canal problem; initially getting rid of the infection that checking on progress 6 weeks later and after a following 6 week period installing the new root canal material. Everything has gone smoothly and now I'm pain free. Boyden Evans July 2018
