I haven't even had my test yet and the emails, reassurance and communication is exceptional! It's so rare to get such good service and I've referred 10 people already. Amazing to have this support at such a difficult time during the Omicron peak in NZ. We are all trying to see our families and it's really hard to make it happen with all the bureaucracy of crossing a border now and the clinic has helped me so much. Use this team to get your pre-departure RAT/PCR test!

My husband and I went in today for PCR tests at 10am to head overseas tomorrow. We got our results emailed to us directly from Dr Anwar at 9pm this evening. Everything was perfect. The swabs didn’t even hurt. Thank-you so much , can’t recommend highly enough!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We came to DR Hoosen for our pre departure covid tests. When singapore implemented a 48 hr test requirement days before we were due to depart, Iram contacted us almost immediately and arranged a new appointment to suit our itinerary. Dr Hoosen then went to great lengths to try and get our tests back on time, and they came through super promptly and well in time for our flight. If you're as stressed as I was about the pre departure, the travel clinic is your best bet for the smoothest possible experience. Excellent service throughout!

If you need a Covid pre-depature test come here. They seemed to be the only ones that understood the ins and outs of how to get these done on time. We needed to fly the next day, and our result came in less than 24 hrs. We were given personal contact details for the doctor if the test didn't arrive on time which gave us real confidence they cared about us getting our flight.

I’ve been going to the Travel Clinic for the past couple years to get all my necessary vaccination shots for travelling and recently for a pre departure medical certificate. Dr. Hoosen has been absolutely brilliant every time I’ve come in and answers any questions I may have. Even while travelling you can contact him anytime during your trip if you have any concerns or questions. While I never needed to personally get in contact while overseas, it was reassuring to know I could always contact a Doctor I could trust for advice and think that’s a great service to offer. Also want to give a shout out to reception staff as they are amazing as well and I always enjoy coming in. Definitely highly recommend Travel Clinic. I had my pre-travel Covid Test here yesterday and, on the fast track option, recieved my results in 24 hours. Iram, at the front desk, was very patient and informative with my emails and questions. Very friendly when I was in the clinic. Dr. Anwar was so kind, explained everything and gave me his personal contact information should I not receive my results in a timely manner (it was a day before travel) he could look into it. Definitely recommend this clinic if you need a Covid swab before traveling internationally!

Very, very glad I was recommended this clinic to get my COVID-19 test certificate 96 hours before my flight. I was very anxious about all the details regarding timing, certificate validity etc but the staff were so helpful, professional and accommodating, totally putting my mind at ease. The result came through even quicker than promised and was organised for me so that picking up the certificate was done in time to suit my situation. I am extremely grateful and wouldn’t recommend anywhere else if you are traveling in this strange time!

Totally went above and beyond the call of duty! On Easter weekend we found out, at the airport as we were departing, that our negative Covid results certificate required an official stamp and the doctor's signature in order to enter Egypt. We called the doctor. He immediately left his home to go to the clinic to affix the necessary stamp and resent the documents electronically with signature included. Dr. Hoosen is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Coming from Canada, he helped me organize and get caught up on all of my previous vaccines, and helped inform me on what vaccines to get for my future travels. The vaccines were much much less expensive to get here than the exact same ones in Canada! His prices are lower than some of the other clinics in Auckland too. Over the course of several months I visited his clinic to get 2 vaccines at a time and always had a good experience. He helped prescribe me medication for my airplane travel anxiety. His record-keeping is meticulous, so I will always know when it is time for a booster vaccine and what vaccines I have already. I strongly recommend this clinic and Dr. Hoosen!

Our experience at the travel clinic was great! Dr Hoosen is very accommodating and helpful if you come in with the right attitude. Although the vaccines are expensive, it is worth it to work with an experienced doctor. Even after you get the vaccines, you can email him from anywhere you're traveling to ask questions. While I was away I had minor skin irritations and when asked, Dr Hoosen kindly shared his advice via email. My partner and I went to the Travel Clinic for vaccinations that we had left very late before our travels! Both Dr Anwar and (front of house manager) Finn were incredibly helpful and friendly beyond expectations, managing to squeeze us in to ensure we were covered for our trip! Finn was so lovely to deal with, has a wonderful phone and email manner and is as excellent to deal with in person - a genuine asset to the business. Dr Anwar was patient, kind and efficient and clearly very experienced - we were blown away by his offer of emailing him direct should we need anything while travelling which he seems to offer all his patients. We were there once a week for three weeks in a row to complete our course of shots and every visit was as fabulous as the first. Although we live in East Auckland, we will happily drive to the North Shore in future should we require services. Dr. Anwar Hoosen has given me the best service I can imagine. He has really gone above and beyond what I would have expected from a clinic. My partner and I got a series of different vaccines before going on a trip to South America. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to advise us. He also let us know that his service would continue while we were on our trip and we could reach him by email if we needed to. Well, sure enough, on our trip I ended up getting really sick and I emailed him describing my symptoms to him. He emailed back very fast and just from that description he knew exactly what was wrong with me and he advised me to take a certain pill from our emergency medicine pack (which we bought from his clinic). I became better the next day. That alone was amazing service. But fast forward one year later, and I'm due for my booster shots but I'm still not back in NZ. I had some trouble getting my booster over seas and I emailed Anwar again explaining my problem. Again he emailed back right away - he knew exactly what the problem was and he was able to provide a solution. I 100% trust Anwar and Travel Clinic - the amount of knowledge they have about travel related medicine and sickness is amazing. And having Anwar accessible by email has just raised the bar. The doctor was really lovely, made sure I knew all my options, and then was quick and painless about the jabs themselves. And I can be quite a sook about needles! Highly recommend.

I've been to the Travel Clinic three times now for long overseas trips and have been very impressed each time. Anwar is very professional and knows exactly what vaccines are needed and which are not. His shots are also quick and pain free! Best of all though is their ongoing service, where you can email questions if you get into trouble while overseas. As a lover of travel I appreciate the level of detail and service that Anwar and his team put in to ensure I have the right level of protection when away. Great service from Anwar and his team at the Travel Clinic. I have been using the Travel Clinic North Shore since 2011 for advice and vaccinations, travel medication and supplies. They provide an efficient, friendly service and are right up-to-date regarding all travel-related medical requirements/disease issues. In addition, online advice is available when you are travelling. Luckily so far I have not needed to avail myself of this.

Great medical service! Both the administration and Dr. Anwar have been kind and extremely helpful. During my 3 months trip in South America I got sick because of Dengue fever and as soon as I contacted Dr. Anwar he immediately assisted me and constantly asked for updates on my condition. He was so kind to answer me 2 months after I got the disease as I was still showing some symptoms. Additionally, from the symptoms I described he diagnosed dengue fever from NZ while the doctor who visited me at the hospital in south america thought it was malaria. As I made some specific tests it came out it actually was dengue as Dr. Anwar suggested. I strongly recommend this clinic as they provide with a really high quality service and support. Sure I'll come back here before leaving for the next trip!

We have just returned from India, where we attended our friend's wedding, needless to say, I got an upset stomach the night before the celebrations started. Dr Anwar assisted with providing me with all required or (in some cases) recommended vaccinations and emergency antibiotics before my trip commenced. I am feeling smug, smart and I am skiting. At 70 plus and diabetic I did the seven hour trek to see the gorillas in the Impenetrable Bwindi jungle in Uganda. Our trip to Africa was a late decision. The list of innoculations needed was quite long but Dr Hoosen carefully planned them for me taking into account the short time I had to prepare, my diabetes, and the paper work and communication was excellent : my current doctor now knows I am ” pincushion”. It was comforting to know I could email at any time with a problem. The shop has everything you need for travel and many things you did not know you needed as well, and Iram in the shop side was a fund of useful information. Parking is no problem. Armed with my “ little Yellow book” and pills and potions Africa was wonderful. Last week there was an email reminding me a booster is due – great follow up. I went and with advice had a Pneumonia jab as well. Next week I am off to Antarctica again fully prepared – foot warmers and sea bands. My experience with Travel Clinic was excellent. I was advised before my first appointment to check the website read all the information and bring any questions I had. I knew upfront from the website what vaccines were recommended and how much they were. Anwar went in great detail to explain the process and what vaccines he recommended and why. He also provided some real emails from clients when I questioned whether I needed to get the rabies jab. I did not feel pressured at all. I even advised Anwar that I do not like needles and can honestly say that he was excellent in distracting me when he was about to give me the injections. I hardly felt them. His clinic follow ups have been excellent. I have read other reviews and believe that these reviewers had never read the website prior to their visits as it is extremely informative. Anwar did mention his travel water bottle and what it does etc . I bought one (I did not feel pressurised to do so in anyway)was extremely glad I did due to the water quality where we were travelling. As far as getting ripped off like other reviewers have advised I did not feel this in anyway. On one occasion they had run out of one of the vaccines I needed but Anwar made sure to mention that we would not be charged a consultation fee for the next visit to get the other vaccine.

I have been going to Anwar for 12 years . He organises everything I need healthwise and sends reminders when boosters are required for vaccinations . I don't have to think!! He keeps completely up to date with diseases in various countries and seasons when they happen . I never travel without my mini medical kit of emergency medication and also the water bottle with its own filter... Clean water wherever you are. Both available in the clinic shop. I have bought many presents from the shop for all my nieces and nephews doing their OE -- which they have loved . Well worth a visit especially if you are going to a non English speaking country.

We have always found his service to be excellent He's always been available to assist with medical queries while travelling. For example while in Bolivia, one of us developed a skin rash and we emailed Anwar pictures of this. He replied within hours with very helpful advice. Very Knowledgeable Doctor about Countries and Vaccines. However i found abit of scare-mongering snd pressure to get these vaccines. I have travelled to many countries before and never had a problem, when i explained this to him he treated me like i was stupid for not getting my shots.
