H. J.I had a lovely Radiographer who took time to explain the procedure. She also said results would be sent to me, my refering physician and gp within 2-3 working days. One week later, after hearing nothing, I rung to inquire. The lady (Julie) was rude. She insisted results would have only been sent if I had asked for them....that's NOT was I was told on the day! No apology for the communication error (not even an insincere apology). Of course patients want to know their results! Feeling frustrated with the process.

I appreciate it ☺ #update, the refering physician has been on leave and won't be back till April. So, my results won't be available for me until then. I trust they are fine....but I think this might highlight a potential 'grey area' for refering on any urgent issues identified (for other patients)? Again, thank you for your interest in my experience.
