S.Good Dog Training didn’t just hand us back a “good” dog, my partner and I were absolutely taken back by how much she had improved during her time there. I honestly thought we got back some AI version of her with all her reactive traits removed 😂😂
For reference, she WAS a very reactive young shepherd and we had watched every training video under the sun, trained her daily, paid for not one but two different trainers. After 8 sessions and a lot of money wasted, we were recommended the good dog training team. I was hesitant about the price difference between them and other trainers initially due to her needing a 3-4 week program but if you break it down it’s actually incredible value compared to other trainers since the dog stays on site and now that we’ve seen the results first hand I would pay a lot more without even blinking. Our life has completely changed!!!!!
Let me just tell you every dollar was worth it and I would recommend them to absolutely anyone that’s struggling with their dog.
Despite a few uncalled for reviews on here, we saw her being trained in the back of videos etc happy as! Yes, they’re firm and professional but that’s why they’re so successful with their training. Kali clearly loved her time there, when we picked her up she was constantly smiling and wagging her tail whenever she saw or engaged with any trainers.
I couldn’t walk her alone and my 6ft 3 partner couldn’t even hold her back if she wanted to run over to a dog, she was so reactive to any noise or other animal it was an absolute nightmare…..
NOW she’s still our sweet girl in the home AND outdoors, I came back from our first walk in tears, I just couldn’t believe it.
This place is absolute magic and they even take you through an exceptionally in-depth handover period so you know exactly how to continue the training and what to look out for. I had about 10,000 questions and they made me feel heard and understood at all times and we’ve come away with so much knowledge and the tools to have a wonderful life with our dog.
No more frustration, just understanding between our dog and us. You truly can’t put a price on that.
I truly cannot recommend them more! My only regret is not booking her in sooner.
J.Our dogs have been going to Good Dog for training, daycare and kennels for 5 years now and we highly recommend them. The staff are always so helpful and friendly and the best feedback I can give is that the dogs are always so happy to be there.
K.These guys do an amazing job with training. Recently picked up our pup after the board and train package and he's totally different in a good way! Listens when given commands and no longer growling or snapping at people. This was the best decision we ever made. Our dog is happier and calm. We now have the tools and training to know what to do. They really care about the dogs they train and can definitely see that.
F.Went to Good Dog Training for Dog Obedience classes on a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed! Dave was a fantastic instructor, patient and always had the time to answer our million and 1 questions. The class was run professionally and we felt very safe there with my wee little dog Amongst some bigger/ older/ reactive dogs. I was hesitant the class would be too basic as our dog is well behaved and knows his basic commands well enough. This was not the case though! They re-wire what you know about foundational training. Classes are good for old, new, big or small dogs. Our dog has been almost transformational since, best money ever spent!
O.Best place for your fur babies! I did obedience training with my puppy and instead of just teaching you some tricks (like a lot of other places do) Ryan gives you an understanding into your dog's mind and psychology, helps you to build a great basis for your relationship. The training helped me with numerous issues that we had with our puppy's cheecky behavior. Definitely recommend!

S.I love this facility and the people working here. I have a tricky dog whose pray drive is high along with high energy. Good dog training has trained my dog well and I keep my dog with them overnight every now and then, to get good pack socialization experience.
E.Our rescue dog had no socialisation before he came to us and Good Dog has been fantastic in getting him comfortable with other dogs and learning how to behave on lead.
D.We were lucky to have Good Dog Training train our beautiful girl Laila under their Board and Train Program. Laila had fear aggression with people, particularly in the home, as well as possession aggression over those she is closest to in the family. It was a matter of when will she bite someone, not if. Laila is a bull-mastiff staffy and very strong willed, stubborn and protective of her home and family. We really were at our wits end after trying (and paying for) many forms of training over the last year, all to no real effect. Laila had an extended stay with Good Dog Training due to lockdown - lucky Laila. We have noticed such a big difference with her since we have brought her home. She is so much calmer and comfortable in her surroundings. She has gone from barking at EVERYTHING to practically not barking at all. She walks nicely on the lead on walks and her recall is so much better. It has taken so much pressure off us in the home to not have to worry about who she would react to next. We still have work to do as the training is now with us to carry through, but we now have the tools to keep up the good work and we can see huge changes resulting from her training. It has been worth every cent spent for her board and train. We would highly recommend Good Dog Training Board and Train. We will also use their kennels in the future. Thank you Good Dog Training!
J.Its so hard to decide on a dog trainer to goto with all the options around. I had looked at multiple companies and was getting frustrated. I decided to go here after being referred by a family friend. They were friendly and excellent in email response and then easy to book with. Well priced aswell for an initial consult. We didn't know what to expect really but Ryan was very helpful, pointed out little things to us we never noticed, answered all our questions, talked us through different options and training tips which have made us much more equipped i believe. Our big dog Thor has calmed down alot after 1 training, i can actually take him out walking without pulling my arm off, hes stopped barking on the back of the truck. I'm not saying hes 100% cured/trained but i would more than likely go back if things get worse. Wish we had done this sooner and i recommend everyone to give these guys a try if you are having some problems with your dog.
