Wow. Just wow. The track down to the falls is expected to take an hour, but with moderate fitness this is more like 30mins. Absolutely mindblowing waterfalls, 100% worth the effort to view. Track is pretty well maintained, with no overly challenging bits.

it was a beautiful waterfall, don't let the sign fool you, it only takes around 1 hour to complete around trip.

Great walk! Haven't been up there for a few years and fantastic to see the track in such well maintained condition.

Nice, fairly easy track to the Falls. Can take between an hour to two hours return depending on your fitness level or how often you stop for photos! It was wet and muddy when we went, though the track was quite decent with only a few areas to be careful of.

A nice walk through the bush with the usual up and down terrain. A few steps down to the falls but there is an awesome view from the top if you don't care for steps. Enjoyed this walk and would recommend it.

Beautiful walk. The sign said 2hrs but we did the 3.6km in less than an hour although the waterfall can keep jou busy for hours on a warm day

This place is absolutely incredible, the sound of all the wildlife is out of this world. Would highly recommend bringing your swimming trunks and going for a swim. If you’re looking for stuff to do in greymouth definitely come here you won’t be disappointed

An hour's walk through some lovely South Island beech forest to the falls. Spectacular waterfalls with a track to get down close an personal. A nice swimming spot.

It takes about 30 minutes to reach the falls. It can be a bit dangerous to go to swim because there is no easy entrance and the rocks are a bit slippery. No toilets.

Great walk. Great views. Sign says 2 hours return. I ran the track in 13 minutes. Just walking, is only half hour each way.

Its an easy walk which takes about 1 hr including return. The water is very brown but clear due to the algaes giving it that perfect rainforest look. You could bring kids along, as the tracks are easy and not dangerous. The water is slightly slippery , so be cateful while attempting to swim .

Well signposted. Easy walk. At a good pace this takes around 20 mins each way. Track can be fairly muddy after rain. The track and forest alone were well worth the walk. Waterfall wasn't terribly tall, but wide and interesting.

Great track. Love the Bush and hearing the creek. Falls were as beautiful as ever. My grandson who's 5 walked all the way in and out.

A absolutely fabulous walk even with the light rain we had. It's need to do but in sections hold very young hands as the dropouts are steep.

Hour walk return. Good track some lovely trees mossy ferns. Waterfall with pool in front. Stones green slimy slippery. Heard a bellbird a fantail a wood pigeon a grey warbler. Didn't actually see any birds.

Loved this walk. Doc sign says it’s 2 hours but could be done within 1 hour. Walked with this my 4 year old who enjoyed it.

Very nice walk with a great rewarding views by the end. Even kids enjoyed it. Half an hour each way though, but easy walk. You can use strollers for babies

About 1h return truck. Not suitable for prams. There's a nice viewing bench near the falls, perfect for contemplation:)

Lovely walk to the waterfall, about an hour return. You can swim here too :) there is a small section of the track that smells like someone cut the cheese but other than that it's a good walk with some nice views

A nice hidden gem tucked away a short walk into the bush. A friend showed us around as we had no idea it was here to be seen. Always good to have local knowledge

Very easy terrain that ends at a beautiful water fall. I recommend going on a hot day because it is the perfect spot for a swim

Doc sign says 2hr return- more like 1 hr return. Worth the trip with a small waterfall on the walkway too. Freezing cold water in the spring but would be a lovely dip in the summer

This is a lovely walk....can have a bit of uphill on the way back but only moderate fitness required. Beautiful mossy pathways lead to a stunning reward...watch out for fairies

Heavy rain overnight made the short 25 minute trek to falls very worthwhile

A nice hike in and out, about 1 hour round trip. If you like like waterfalls, this one is interesting and different. Worth the trek.
