Our dog loves Jack & his family and gets so excited when he knows hes spending the day in Puppy Daycare. The staff really take pride & care in the property add will as the service they provide. There is ample grass for them to run around, there is also a pet play pool and heaps of sleeping options.

Jack and his team are awesome. Dogs loves being there more than being at home I think.

Jack and his team look after our pugs when we go away and can’t take them with us, it is like a home away from home for them. They are well looked after, exercised, played with and very happy, I also text Jack while we are away and he always gets back to me so quickly We cannot recommend Jack and his team highly enough Thank you so much 🐶🐶😊

We had tried our dog at a kennel closer to home (Rotorua), we thought they were great as they posted photos of the dogs playing daily. However, all the photos of our dog showed him being mounted. When we got him back he was covered in bad scratches and whimpering. Thankfully, Pyes Pa is nothing like that other kennel. We happily will travel nearly an hour out of town to drop our dogs off here, as we know they'll be well looked after! Our dog that obviously gets bullied and dominated a lot is a lot calmer coming home from Pyes Pa, and has never had any injuries!

We are so impressed with Pyes Pa Kennels. Bill and the staff have been wonderful and so accommodating to our German Shepherd who was rather anxious coming into a new environment and kennels. We tried her with other kennels and they didn't have the time for us but when we took her to Bill he was so reassuring and took it very slow, she managed to stay overnight which was a success. I would 100% recommend these guys, they are great!

We have used this cattery several times over the past few years. It came highly recommend to us from our neighbours who have been using them for years. We have always found the owners Bill and Robyn and their staff a pleasure to deal with. Their customer service and kindness is always exceeding our expectations and they genuinely care about our animals comfort. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else. We won't leave our cats with anyone else.

Great to see the new Owners are a bright change to Bill & Robyn who were the previous Owners of Pyes Pa Pet Lodge. There were at least 3 people (and no doubt more people) who said that they would never bring their Pets back whilst Bill was there. Apparently Bill was in the habit of contacting other Catteries & Kennels and bad-mouthing past Customers who had used his services, because Bill could not cope with being told by Customers that his manner was poor. Never before have I seen someone get so uptight because a Customer was shaking the fur out of their pet's towel in the driveway - it is clear that Bill Sangster has a few 'issues'. Bill obviously needs to get professional help because a number of Customers were finding Bill to be a real 'put-off'. It is good to see that Bill has finally gone and that Pyes Pa Pet Lodge has new Owners.

We love our dogs and see them as part of our family. This is the only kennel that we can trust to look after them. They arrive happy and leave happy. Simply , this is a professional, clean, caring and high quality kennel. Ask all of the local Tauranga vets and SPCA they will tell you the same. Thanks so much.

My large boxer Leila loves coming to Pyes Pa Kennel. She has stayed many times including a ten days stay and frequent day stays. I highly recommend this kennel as I have found Bill and his team very professional and always very welcoming and caring. Leila can't wait to get out of the car when we arrive -definitely shows me I have nothing to worry about. Our cat has also stayed for ten days and was well cared for and happy. Thanks once again for looking after our cat so well. We know she is a very stroppy madam and can be very difficult at times :) although she always comes round after a few days with you. She seems to really enjoy the shelf platforms that get full sun during the day and the generous cat runs. Your premises are also the most clean and spotless we have ever used. We will definitely be back.

Rikki, my very nervous, shy rescue always comes out of her shell whenever she checks into the kennels. The facilities are really stunning, the animals treated like royalty and the staff are expert and love their work. It's very popular so book ahead.

I would highly recommend Pyes Pa Kennels and Cattery. My 2 persian cats spent 7 days there and were well cared for and looked after. I found Bill very pleasant and helpful to deal with. My cat is with them for six weeks, I emailed after three to ask how he is and they sent a pic showing how happy he is-going the extra mile with a personal touch means alot.
