Fantastic experience. Both Christine and Paulo were a delight to deal with - appreciated their friendly, calm and helpful instructions both in booking lessons and in taking lessons. I had very particular needs and Paulo was very accommodating - worked with me to bridge the gaps and improve my skills in a really short timeframe. Also reasonably priced. Rang A1 based on a recommendation from a friend and will definitely also recommend to friends. Thanks heaps guys - you're the best!

Brian from A1 Driving School in Porirua was absolutely brilliant. He gave my son confidence in driving and provided written feedback after each lesson. He passed his restricted test today and couldn't be happier!! I would highly recommend A1 Driving School.

Had the privilege of having paulo as my instructor. Legend too light a term for him . Super tutor was patient and understanding. I started with Manuel but got too impatient so switched to automatic as I’m 38 I just wanted full licence as soon as. Today I got my full test and I so so happy!!! Thanks so much paulo and the a1 team. Mark 🇮🇪

A1 Driving and my instructor Paulo helped me to achieve my goal to get my restricted. I passed my test first try and within the timeframe I had planned. Paulo was a great instructor to drive with. He was reliable, encouraging and supportive. I appreciated his flexibility with early morning starts. I would recommend A1 Driving School to anyone looking for help to learn.

Highly recommend A1 Driving School. My son reluctantly went for a lesson with Brian after a very negative experience with another driving school. Brian was just what my son needed. My son was nervous and his confidence was very low until he met Brian. Brian was kind, patient and provided helpful tips which really helped my son pass his restricted test. We can not recommend him enough. Also, the lady Christine who takes the bookings, was incredibly helpful.

A1 driving were amazing in getting my son from a total beginner to passing his test really quickly. They were so helpful in fitting in lessons near his test day. Kamal was a really positive and excellent instructor. Thank you team. Couldn’t be more impressed.

Thanks to the composed, knowledgeable and comprehensive training provided by Kamaljit, after only one month of lessons and with absolutely no prior experience, I was able to become a very confident driver and obtain my restricted license with ease. If you are looking for the safest experience and the highest level of instruction, I would not hesitate for one second to recommend A1 Driving school and Kamaljit

Brian was fantastic and really helped me build the confidence I needed to finally get my restricted. Well worth every cent! Can't say enough good things about my experience. Christine was also lovely when making bookings.

I had Paulo as my driving instructor for a month or so, and he supported and encouraged me towards getting my restricted. He was an excellent teacher and motivator and I would rebook with him in a flash. :)

Since January I have had weekly driving lessons with Brian to prepare for my restricted driving test and has been a great experience! Brian was patient and continuously had constructive advise that built my confidence. I wen't into my test ready with the skills I needed and came out with a pass the first time! Marcel taught both my daughters this year and both passed their restricted license test..Marcel is a fantastic instructor - so patient, really clear instructions, great to deal with as a parent.

My son had a driving lesson with Brian from A1 in preparation for his full licence test. He said Brian was a great instructor and gave him lots of helpful tips. The a1 driving school office are also great to deal with as well and very efficient at getting back to you. Would recommend.

Very helpful and accomodating from office staff to driving instructors. A great location in South Wellington for my daughter's defensive driving course to prepare for her full licence. We recommend this business.

Since July, I have been doing weekly lessons with Paulo to prepare for my restricted license test and finally got my restricted license on my first try! Paulo was very patient and understanding in every situation. Thanks a lot Paulo and A1!

Great course! I found it interesting and useful, would highly recommend. The instructors at A1 driving school Wellington are very nice and supportive people.

So relieved I decided to use A1 driving school Paulo gave me the confidence to get my full driving license great instructor, he told me honestly what I was doing wrong and what I should be working on. This place is an amazing driving school people who really care about driving skills and pass the test to be a suitable driver in NZ roads. Lady call Christine explains me about the preparation which is really helpful for me to pass the test and to be a suitable driver. This means they giving a good service without wasting our hard earn money. Thank you A1.

Instructor was really patient and seemed to have a genuine interest in helping me pass the test, even organised an A1 car for me to do the test in!

I had one lesson with him to go over the route in Wellington and he was so helpful and fitted me in last minute. Really helpful and friendly, would 100% recommend!
