We had Helix come and help with some home renovations in early April, installing new lights in our kitchen and bathroom. They were very professional, on time every day and a great team to chat with throughout the day. They completed the job much faster than we had initially planned for and we are super happy with our new lights! Special mention to young Josh who was an apprentice working on one of his first jobs. Great attitude for a new kid in the trade and I can tell he’ll be going places.

Our house was damaged by lightning and the alarm would not stop. Helix were so incredibly responsive. They had a man here in an hour (Ben, I think) who was efficient, knowledgeable, easy-going & professional. A huge weight off to find a place this helpful in such a stressful situation. Will use for all my future projects now!

After the normal electrician I used often got a bit busy I was recommended Helix. I was a little nervous using a new company but after a couple of jobs they turned out to be brilliant. What is important to me is getting the job done efficiently in all aspects of a work order I sent – that being respect and care for my tenants when it comes communication and doing the job fast and efficient so tenants don’t go without. Then there is the aspect of best quality services at best competitive price Helix ticks the boxes. Communication with Hannah and the team are top, detailed invoicing and on time are some of the other positives about Helix that I find are necessary for myself as a busy property manager. I recommend them for their service, their customer care (always is friendly and professional) communication and competitive pricing.

Wow, got my electrical problems solved by this awesome team Tom in particular. Best quality and best looking electrician in the business

Even though they get the job done eventually, however I definitely think there are improvements can be done. Be on time: the guy come in 30mins late even it is their first job on that day. Please act more professionally: The service guy who came in late ran some checks and tell me he does not know what is the cause of problem.Then he fasten a few screws on the switch board and left. No surprise the problem comes back in 10mins and I have to ask them come back and finish the job. Billing correctly: The same service guy came back to install a new switch box after the problem identified. The installation took about one hour. Then I was charged for 2 hr service fee. After calling and texting them, finally they found there was a mistake in time recording. Overall, they can get job done with right people however, there is definitely space for these guys to improve.

Tom came and installed a new bathroom fan to the existing switch, fixed a faulty sensor, and upgraded one of our circuit breakers in a professional and timely manner. He came at 12 o'clock and was working so hard he didn't even stop for lunch! Tom was good at communicating the issues and what he was doing to fix things. He also had a charming Yorkshire accent which I wrongly guessed was from Manchester... whoops! After he was all done, Tom even offered to vacuum up after himself, which I thought was a nice touch.

What a find! An honest, reliable, talented Sparky!! Trevor fixed a few problems at my place, all in my absence, and I was so impressed with his skills and his persistence to solve the problem with my RCD plug. Trev was fantastic to deal with and was very professional, we needed a new extractor fan installed in our bathroom and he did an amazing job from choosing the rite product to instillation of the fan, trev also had to cut some jib to make sure the fan fitted correctly which he did and he did a fantastic job making sure it looked in place and also cleaned the whole area which we thought was a great touch and very professional. I would highly recommend trev to deal with and would refer him on to any friend or family that needed assistance.

They were able to adapt to my needs on the spot as I asked for a few things around the house that hadn't been quoted for which they happily did on the spot. Kept me up to date and asked before doing anything outside of the quote that they noticed needed doing.
