Wanaka Solar have recently installed a solar system for our house. What a painless process this has been. From the first discussions to the final inspection everything was organised and completed very efficiently. Dean went over the system details with us, answering all our questions , Hannah produced great comparisons for different sized units and Jake and Alex worked so efficiently and competently during the installation and setup. What an awesome team. Having compared Wanaka Solar with what other companies offered it was obvious that Wanaka Solar was streets ahead of the others and their prices were competitive. We are happy to strongly recommend Wanaka Solar to others planning to to install a PV system.

In winter of last year we decided to go Solar. Our decision to go with Wanaka Solar continues to be a decision we are super happy with. The follow up questions I have had are always answered in great time, trust me I ask a few!! From the very start till now Wanaka Solar have been the experts they promised they would be, experts with time for their clients whenever needed. Great local business.

Working with Wanaka Solar was great, they are passionate, knowledgeable and they have a really good customer service. They sourced for me the very high quality panels and micro-inverters I wanted and they made the whole process very fast and smooth. It is a great feeling to produce my own electricity and to drive my electric car with the energy from the sun. I consider them to be the best solar and battery specialists in the area and I highly recommand them.

Wanaka Solar installed a 5.3 kW solar panel system for me around 8 months ago. It has been a game changer for me. I now essentially drive my EV for free since I charge it up every day from a plug in my garage that only switches on when there is 2 kW of excess power being generated by the panels on the roof. It has also prompted me to change my behaviour - if I am roasting a chicken (for the dog) I set the timer on the oven to start around midday so that I am using electricity when there is more than enough coming from the roof. I found Wanaka Solar to be highly professional, responsive to what I wanted, and all up very helpful. I would highly recommend them.

Wanaka Solar installed 16 PV panels on our property in Wanaka in February 2022. I cannot praise their professionalism, punctuality and excellent service highly enough. Everything happened on the day they said it would – their electricians and installers are clearly passionate about solar energy and this comes across to us as customers. Our system needed minor tweaks to maximise the solar power used to heat water – this was all part and parcel of their after-sales service. They have really gone the extra mile to ensure that we were happy with the system. The Fronius solar web app is excellent – so clear to understand enabling us to modify some of our usage habits. We are more than thrilled with the power savings we have made – higher than we expected. All in all, I cannot recommend them highly enough. We are super-happy with their work. Selenium did an excellent job on the wiring and electric fit-out for my new home. Dean had great advice in the planning phase, delivered on time and on budget and I was really impressed with how well everything was finished. Definitely highly recommend Selenium.
