Flick electric is my first electric company to sign up with. There very convenient and have amazing customer service representative’s. They have been having issues with pausing payments however do there best to make sure your happy. They literally gave me $30 credit and refunded my money twice just because they forgot to pause the payment. If this ain’t “make the customer happy” attitude then I don’t know what is ❤️ Thanks flick

Flick have been just amazing since we switched a number of years ago. Not only are their prices competitive. Always striving to bring you the cheapest electric bill and believe me, they do, week by week, but they keep in constant contact. They strive to keep us informed of how prices are comparing, what effects certain conditions have on our electric bill and what options there are available to us.
I wish we knew about Flick when moving to New Zealand, they are affordable, they are transparent and they easy to talk to and easy to get hold of when needed. I'm very glad to have Flick as my electric provider and would highly recommend to all.

My experience with Flick has been amazing. Professional and prompt service. Plus the information detailed in their app and website is extremely useful. It is very transparent, and you know exactly what you're paying for. AND you get rewarded for being an awesome customer! What other power company do you know does this? I've never had that before. Ever. It's awesome they're environmentally friendly too. Extremely happy and satisfied with making the switch. Best power company I've ever signed up with. So, make the switch to Flick!!!

Most excellent way to receive home delivered power in NZ without all the elusive offers of a new TV or fridge etc which by the way you will end up paying for in your more expensive power supply.
Flick does an honest effort to keep you informed about anything that may affect you and your home electricity supply and pricing.
I personally have saved hundreds of dollars since switching to Flick! There phone app is awesome as you can see at a glance how your tacking on use of power. you pay weekly so there is no big surprise at the power bill time of the month.
Honestly give your power company a kick and join Flick. you will thank me for this long post. I am totally happy and if you give them a go you can to be happy

FLICK has been a POWER BREAKER for us for about two years now.
Given that we were customers with Meridian or more than 30 years the move to Flick took some consideration. We never looked back!
We have never experienced power charges as low as $15 p/w. Even during the colder Christchurch winters our bill does not exceed $ 50 p/w, but that only last a few months during which the energy subsidy softens the blow. You will do well following our example and change over to the company offering the lowest power charges in this country.

Flick communicates clearly. Their pay structure is transparent and reasonable. They fight for the people of NZ to have more say in their power, taking the large gentailers to task. Their app is great for making the most out of spot prices, but also have a fixed rate option and a rewards earning option - really something for everyone. All their options are fair to the consumer. They are a principled, and socially and environmentally responsible company both in their plans and in how they run their own offices. They provide options for consumers to make environmentally conscious power choices. They are just great people doing great things. Flicking love 'em!

The options they offer to customers - whether it's locking in a price for 6 months, or riding the highs and lows of the spot prices - there's something for everyone at Flick. Great company to deal with. I have a bunch of properties and tried heaps of other power co's. But I keep going back to Flick. I love the idea that I can deal in wholesale prices. With my solar system I am now able to take advantage of that and have at times earned 30c per kWh.

Since signing up with Flick in 2016, I believe it has turned out to be the best decision I have made in finding the most economical energy company, especially after I switched from Flexi to Fixie price last year. Our bills became even lower than before, no more nasty surprises in winter. Previously I have been with C****** and M***** for years, but so far Flick is the best!!

You will not find better rates overall than Flick Electric. Over the last three years my power costs have been lower than any others available. Additionally their customer service is excellent.

Its not very often that a deal as as good as it sounds.
I can honestly say that Flick is fantastic. I was with Contact Energy and with all the discounts was paying about 25cents per kWh after their "on-time discounts were applied", and now I'm averaging about 16-17 cents per kw hour. Over the last few months have saved over $700 with them. Seems too good to be true but it actually is saving real money. HIGHLY recommend.

I lovèeeeeèee having the electricity prices on the App. I get to see my savings even when I'm in a work meeting...I know eh. Hey I just like to see what's happening, live.
And I like it that i can choose to use appliances at the cheapest possible rate. Helps with the green side of things too making sure I dont add to an already overloaded grid.

They were prompt about connecting us (on a weekend), and have been pleasant to deal with along the way. I love paying weekly, I love paying by credit card, I love seeing my power usage stats, and I love the overall low price. They have my recommendation.

Flick are OK when they don't have ridiculous price spikes and we liked the weekly direct debit rather than receiving a huge monthly bill. However the prices spiked so outrageously last winter that I ended up having to take out an overdraft to cover my other expenses after huge amounts were direct debited from my account.

I really appreciate Flick's philosophy and philanthropy, and what it aims to do for its customers. I like knowing where electricity is being generated at any time so you can choose to cut back when carbon emissions are high. I've been with the company for a few years now, and have enjoyed cheaper power than was offered elsewhere. Sadly, I now have to leave because of the current excessive spot prices - caused by external supply forces, and not of Flick's doing. Sorry guys! I' hope to return some time.

Very helpful, quick and knowledgeable customer support. Android app doesn't work mostly, but the Apple one does. Claimed savings on my bill aren't correct, but it is still less than Contact. The peak rate kw/h rate is very close to what I was paying at Contact, + Contact offered a $150 fixed term sign up carrot.
Off peak rates are fabulous though (11pm-7am) way less

Most of the time they are great! they did have a few wobbles communicating in the early days, but seem to be much better now. Do understand the risk in the model if you are thinking of joining, we've had big power spikes, but overall Flick has saved us money.

Great company disrupting the big guys who've got too comfortable in my opinion. Some weeks Ive paid over $100 for my electricity but which some people will not like, but if you can look at the big picture overall Ive saved over $800 and my summer bills are often $40 or $50 a month!!

The business model is somewhat innovative, especially that customers can view the spot price almost real time. If you would like the fun seeing variable electricity pricing and adjusting your usage, use Flick. However, be warned that you may also see the other side of the fun, as price can get very expensive at times. For example, today (26/06/2018), the price was often over $.40 / KWH + GST + fixed charge, for a few hours it was a lot higher than this, peaking at $1.23 / KWH + GST + fixed charge at dinner time.

Customer service is beyond outstanding with a special mention giving mad kudos to ‘Suria’ so helpful and fast with replies.
Weekly payments makes budgeting so much simpler for our family (especially in winter when we use a little more energy than usual)
Overall best Electricity provider we’ve been with , better than the Aussie companies too!! (lived there for 29 years)

Connecting with Flick Electric has saved me nearly $1000 over the past two years. To deepen the savings l have hot water, dishwasher and washing machine timed to go at one or two am when electricity is a little cheaper. It also avoids having to listen to the machines running!
