The Food Show at the ASB Showgrounds was spectacular! ASB Foodshow you certainly felt catered to. The hospitality of each venue and food selections was immense. Hat's off to everyone whether serving at a venue or behind the scenes. The food and wine selections was fantastic. It's a great place to share with family or with friends.

Plenty of facilities, easy access and an awesome event. I went to the ASB showgrounds for the Auckland Armageddon Expo, and the event was friendly, fun and a really good time for a wide range of ages. If you have any sensory issues, it may be a little overcrowded and intense for you.

Huge venue to the 2020 Japan Day, with plenty of room inside and outside. Food trucks and food stalls made this a specular event. Arrive early to avoid long lines. The organization put two stages, one in each room. Toilets were decent. Plenty of parking lot paid by the hour.

Went to see the Easter 2019 festival and it was beautiful. There were plenty of rides for the kids and also for grown ups. I enjoyed the fireworks in the end. To make it more memorable, I along with my friends went to the One Tree Hill which is nearby to watch the fireworks show. We witnessed it from the point where you can see the whole Auckland city. It was mesmerizing.

Saw big boys toys here recently, was great lots of interesting things for vehicle enthusiasts free rides electric etc and of course mad mikes awesome lambo!

The Great Easter Carnival is huge. Over 2,000 visitors at any time. Kids galore as over 50+ games and activities from 5 &> and adults as well. The Farm is a great contact with our farm animals. Free hand sanitizer after patting animals. Sheep shearing is an eye opener by super skill shearers. New huge farming tractors on display. Lots of food choices. A favourite was Malaysian food which had 6 lines queuing at anytime. Hotdogs were another favourite. Majority vendors accept cash but some offered EFTPOS. There is a cash vending ATM at 2 o'clock of ASB entrance. Great shows for kids and adults like a logging competition. Don't forget to visit our local helicopter heroes & their helicopter. Enjoy an entertaining & great family fun day!

The showgrounds is a wonderful facility for those of us who wish to showcase our business in the Auckland District. I only have one criticism and that is the venue food is expensive and not a great choice. When we are working from early morning and late at night, it would be great to be able to have food or at least drinks available. Large event venue for shows, expos, trade fairs. Lots of parking available though it is controlled on major event days. Short drive from the city or accessible by bus and trains.

The Fine Food Show was fantastic. Great to experience different health foods that people are creating 😋. The parking pricing is a different story my ticket came up as not valid and I had no choice but to choose lost ticket when I had purchased it that day and I ended up having to pay $30 bucks so I could get out 😫.Not a good end to what was an enjoyable day .

Lots of toilets available, lots of space to sit down and eat both inside and outside. Very accessible for wheelchair/prams but a few hills around the place that could make it a bit more difficult! Have been to many great events here, parking can be tricky, opting to pay for easy parking is normally my go to, there is the odd park that comes up for free but it takes minimum of 20 minutes of driving in circles to get one, a good option if you dont mind a walk is the countdown and McDonalds carpark about a 5-10 minute walk down the road!

Meatstock 2019 was a blast with a good selection of indoor and outdoor activities including live music and the beard and mustache wars. Parking could of been better clearly marked but no major complaints or concerns.

We have used the Homeshows here for many years to display our company. Health and safety is an important part of the facilities provided and the ASB Showgrounds maintain high stds. Sure there are slips trips and falls hazards but they are clearly marked out. Toilet and cafe facilities are also provided and it's been a successful location to display our whares

Thoroughly enjoyed the Covi Motorhome Caravan & Outdoor Super Show held at the ASB stadium, plenty of parking, amenities & food options. A great day out to dream of owning a caravan 👌😎

Armageddon - unfortunately poorly organised with non ticket sales meant people did not know which 60min que to be in. Every third stand was a cheap import store for swords and masks the others being computer stores. Shame not more connected with the essence of comic con.

Huge venue with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Indoors it's clean and a nice temperature all year round. Even being so busy there seemed to be enough toilets that you didn't have to wait much. The cafe there is massively overpriced and the available parking is expensive or non-existent. Expect to walk a long way if the event is popular, maybe even consider getting public transport as there's some fairly close

Huge grounds, great events there. Was most recently there for the travel expo, really enjoyed it. Lots of parking but it's paid based on how long you're there, so public transport options might be more cost effective if you're that way inclined.

Had been here for an event. Very spacious and well maintained venues or halls. Lots of parking available. I could see that there were 5-6 different rooms of different size capacity for multiple events happening at the same time. Most importantly, the washrooms are clean and tidy too :) Would recommend this venue for events!

The showgrounds building is a great facility and quite easy to walk around. It's disappointing that they now have timed parking fees. It seems like an awful money grab when the majority of events held there are to encourage people to come and buy things. If the Food Show etc finds a venue with free parking, or excellent public transport, I'd way prefer that.

good space for events, have been here multiple times as an exhibitor at trade shows. Parking is always an issue, an idea would be to build a multi story carpark here as there is never enough and people have to park blocks away and walk, and would be great to have traffic lights on the gates as well as it takes a very long time to get out. Overall a great venue though.

I have been here for a couple of events. It is always welcome to escape for a city like Auckland to dig yourself in some event. The area is fine, nothing of special. Not too small, not too big. It is just fine for some small event.

The New Zealand Boat Show Is being held here and it was great. There is plenty to see here as well as eating and drinking.

Good venue, no complaints. Parking can be hectic here. I was lucky and had few problems parking at Cornwall Park last time. A nice 5 minute walk. Just don’t wait until the park is closing or you’re in for a long wait to get out!

I love the Easter Show - chock full of fun rides, some great shows, fireworks each night and carnival games galore. Downside - $10 wedges, long lines for pretty much everything and parking issues. Overall still awesome, but I would recommend taking your own food or filling up on BK and catching public transport to & from if you can (or take someone who has a mobility card lols).

The venue over all is acceptable but they definitely lack in a few areas. 1. They need to sort out ventilation or some sort of air con in their halls. 2. Their cafe food selection could use an overall. 3. Parking is not ideal. 4. They need to provide shaded seating areas for big events that continue outside.

Been to several expos here and its always a great day out with the family. The grounds have great facilities and ample of easy parking available making life easier for those with little ones. I was pleasantly surprised at the baby show that they even offered a nice little section for breast feeding and baby changing with private booths for mum's to feed in which i thought was a really neat touch for my partner. Highly recommend attending expos at the ASB showgrounds as ive never had a bad experience.

Royal Easter show (Easter weekend), awesome food entertainment, the rides and market stalls were fantastic. We came later in the day to miss the bigger crowd, stayed for the fireworks at 9pm. The lights, the laughter and the smell of all the lively food stalls made for a great night out.

Went to see Greta Van Fleet at this venue. Thought $10 parking was a good deal although it was a bit of a nightmare to get out at the end of the concert. The ladies toilets inside were blocked so you had to go outside and walk a bit of a distance to the other toilets. It is a fairly run down venue that could definitely do with a facelift and location doesn’t really make it convenient for public transport.

Interestingly I have been to ASB Showgrounds for 5 events in my 2½ years in Auckland and each visit brings me a good impression of how orderly people are, how friendly the staff are and how adequate the toilet facilities are. Parking is always adequate be it paid or free. Overall, a pleasant experience attending various events.

Went to the Home Show and I was very disappointed. I was expecting to see a selection of ready-made kitchen suppliers but there almost none there. In prior years there have been many more suppliers. This lack of suppliers was not only in the Kitchen category but across the board. It was definitely not worth paying $20 for the entry fee.

Big venue, we come here usually fee times a year, depending on what's happening. Once a year we attended NZ Fitness Expo, that is a must. Plenty of free parking space behind the showground if you are ok with walking some 10mins to get there. Otherwise charged parking spaces in front.Toilets available inside, clean

The venue is nothing great, it does the job and does it well but beyond that it isn't a place I looks forward to going to, the outer is plain and boring, the seats need a revamp, the toilets are badly laid out. So ones enjoyment of the venue will really come down to what you have gone there to see/do.

Been here many times over the years for an array of different events and always left impressed, great large facility that is well kept even when packed full of Auckland’s finest. Parking is expensive but where in Auckland is parking not cheap these days.

Visited Pet and Animal Show. Wasn't too crowded and it was great to talk to the various stall exhibitors. Learnt all about miniature goats, Vallhund Viking Dogs, tropical fish, Bearded dragon lizards, newly hatched Aussie parrots and many others. The facilities are well laid out and comfortable to use. The restaurant area was good with barista coffee freshly made. A very enjoyable afternoon. Look out for other events. Always very well organized.

I was expecting a bit more from the Meatstock BBQ Festival. It is new, so may get better with time. The way it is currently it is a go see it once type of event. $35 dollar entry and a number of stalls with overpriced food and drink. The building itself is a pretty standard affair. Slightly undersized compared to the ones I have seen in other parts of the world (UK/Spain). All the usual things such as display halls, outside area, restaurant/cafe, toilets. Very standard, nothing special, but then it's not really about the building, it's about the events that take place there.

This venue is host to some of the biggest shows available in Auckland, The Home Show, Big Boys Toys, The Boat Show to name a few and I enjoy going to these and more. The only thing that prevents me from a 5 star review is the parking due to large construction projects in the area which have been limiting the parking capabilities for the last 18 - 24 months or more.

ASB Show grounds is one of the very few centres that's managed very well. Parking isn't a hassle, staff are always welcoming and they don't get tired of your query like I've seen at many other venues.

Took 1.25 hours to get out of the car park. The security guy was more interested in his phone than helping traffic flow. Once you are in the queue your are trapped. People that got in there cars 50 mins latter were able to drive around the queues and get in front of everone else, there was nobody stopping it.

Considering the $10 parking fee and the number of cars that use the grounds, they should really upgrade the car park! And really should regulate the food venders who are ripping everyone off. A hotdog in a bu for $ 8 is so 2 over the top when you can get the same from new world for $2

I went with my wife to a collective market which was indoors and it was packed and so hot inside it had lots of food trucks and people selling their stuff all sorts of stuff i must say some of the things were quite expensive i mean a dress for $280.00 also kauri cutting boards for $95.00 i bought a jar of cashew and coconut peanut butter for $15.00 i know right and we had dumplings to eat which were $15.00 for 12 im not complaining or being judgemental people have to make a buck some how and it looked like quality stuff i would have preferred it outdoors but still a good day out with the wife.

Variety of different halls and concert rooms. Parking is nomally paid and usally $5-$10 depending on event. Plenty of free parking available nearby at Cornwall Park but in some events that gets filled quickly.

Varied events take place in the Showgrounds from the Easter Show to Rug sales. Parking is the only issue here, there is plenty but it is often over charged. Park in Cornwall Park and enjoy a lovely walk over to the Showgrounds.

There's plenty pay for parking, toilets, big open halls, outdoor areas, stages, etc. Detracted a star because I've seen the water pressure be too low for the number of people flushing toilets/washing hands at once in one of the bathrooms. Free entry, mostly Carnival sideshow attractions, many food caravans, best fun was inside main pavilion with beautiful animals for children to interact with. Alpacas, calves, donkeys, turkeys, piglets, sheep shearing, sheep dog trials, bee colony making honey comb, cats rabbits and outside on the infield was a double Clydesdale horse and cart team.

ASB Showgrounds themselves are a wonderful venue for all events that are hosted through out the year, I would definitely recommend keeping an eye out for some of the smaller events that are hosted here as the bigger ones can get extremely overcrowded.

Nice large show spaces which can easily be arranged to accommodate all events of various sizes. Food at the cafeteria isn't great though, and is quite pricey (as you'd expect in events really)

Usually a play ground used for rugby, cricket matches or a show. On some other occasions it is used for showroom and display sale events. Limited parking but can cater 3000 to 5000 people at a time. The public toilets are available too.
