Great events centre i would recommend coming to events here! It was neat how all the upstairs grandstand seating was accessible and you could look over the crowd in the field below. Drinks line was moving fast and didnt have to wait around.

Overall a good venue, decent location for a show or expo with lots of room for exhibitors. The upstairs was extremely hot when we went, not sure if the air conditioning was broken or if it’s like that all the time (it was May so not the middle of summer!). Parts of it are looking a little aged and maybe in need of Reno’s, but still a nice place to come every now and then.

Nice conference space with excellent speakers. Can seat a couple hundred people when full and has good air conditioning to prevent the room from getting too stuffy when busy. Recommend for business functions.

Came here for a 21st birthday. Love the food, was hot and nice. Buffet area was clean and there was enough staff to clean and to serve

Always a good day at the boxing day races. The organization was a little poor this year. Nothing major but considering the entry fees they should be better. Things like; the only coffee cart running out of cups at 11am and the bar specializing in champagne but not having any champagne flutes. If there is a group of you it is worth the extra entrance fee to get a table for ten at $500. It gives you shelter from the rain on a poor day and respite from the sun on a good one. It was less crowded this year so lots of parking.

A good setup for conventions. Lots of parking. Skyway between 2 main buildings. Elevators in buildings. Disabled toilets on each floor. Accessible parking is a bit away from the buildings. No weather protection when moving between outside buildings. Slow to exit when lots of traffic/attendees. A couple of obscure entries that are not open all the time. Comfort seating. Great food!! Needs more water dispensers/water bottle filling stations.

Definitely a great venue 👌 with excellent staff that cater well to your needs. Even last minute changes they are very flexible. The food was delicious we had the Pacific Island Birthday Package. Their only downfall is that we can't take the leftover food home.

Fatboy Slim! Awesome as always great venue for it yes please can we get more out for summer festivals at the race course! Bar drinks area was very good but toilets can be improved but who cares it's Fatboy Slim yo! Glad we didn't miss this electric gardens festival 2019

Food was good, place was not very easy to find. Could do with information boards. Parking is a breeze. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommend for events.

I came here for a work conference. The Staff are lovely, , friendly, professional and very accommodating. They really seem to enjoy their work. The lunch and morning tea were delicious. The rooms are great and looked after really well. I enjoyed walking around the grounds after lunch.

Very beautiful place for functions

Great facility for school balls. Didn't get 5 stars because they made us go up 20 flights of stairs in our dresses. Pat down was abit frisky but it's ight. Catering was really good, no complaints with the table servers.

Close to the motorway allows for easy access to the venue. Multiple large rooms are for hire and ample parking space is available.

Attended a conference here. Suitable building and large enough for lots of people. Good car parking and reasonable walking distance to local hotels. Small point that I noticed during my visit there was that the displayed building Warrant of fitness had expired. I hope the Auckland city council don't catch them and that all the fire safety features functions work properly if necessary!!!!

Went for a conference. Very nice we had a good time.

We ran a training course there recently. The room was ideal & the catering was perfect. The person whi looked after us ( Megan) was absolutely fab. She was there when we needed her, yet discrete and quietly got things ready for us as required. Plenty of parking. Great view over the racecourse.

There's lots of parking and the catering was great! Just be careful that Google maps doesn't send you along the race track because you don't have access there. Rather go around through Greenland.

Good place overall to host parties, dinners or balls, but the place can feel a bit cramped for attendant numbers larger than 500. I'm seeing improvement for the catering; the food used to be bland, but recently I'm seeing more tasty dishes and savoury finger foods. I agree with other reviewers that there should be better signage about entry points and drop-off/pick-up proceedings could be a lot more smoother here.

It's starting to feel a little tired as a venue, but it's fine. Catering is fairly mundane, decent enough but some of the dishes seemed kind of weird (like some of the cold seafood would have been much better if heated). I hope that it isn't expensive to hire.

Went to the annual Concourse de elegance.. was ok but didnt seem to be as good as prior years .. Expected more car clubs and more trade displays .. maybe a covid thing ?

the bride and groom wedding show was amazing

A great large convention centre. The large room was full but didn't feel stuffy or crowded. Good location. The entry could have been a little easier to find with better signage and a better pick-up drop off zone for taxis etc.

Great place for small family gatherings and weddings, also has airconditioning and space to set up live bands and a dancefloor for said weddings. I have been to 2 weddings at this venue and both times the staff onsite have been professional and friendly. 5 stars for their ability to smile and remain patient with inebriated uncles and aunts because that takes fortitude

It's pretty good nice and big with open rooms. Been there for a few different functions now and every time it's clean and neat. Admission is usually pretty quick with lots of gates. While there is usually a lot of parking and they sometimes open a field to park in. Getting in and out with everyone elce can be a bit of a bottle neck. Luckley it's close to the moterway so your normally not stuck for too long. There is also a train and bus station within walking distance.

Great day for the races. Only thing is letting so many drunk and rude people stay there. Security people were useless when we were getting harassed by drunk people.

Great venue . Easy to find your way around.. some of the bar staff lacked knowledge of EFTPOS machine..

Awesome event centre more than enough room for any occasion also very clean and tidy a non disappointing visit with excellent service.

We went for a presentation, so probably not the best way to see the place. It is not really set up for an audience to sit and watch a speaker with a video as the seats are all at the same level, and so it made it hard for most people to see what was being presented. Lots of parking (good) but surprisingly convoluted to get to because of lack of signage etc. They actually had a man on a golf cart who would randomly appear and wave at people. All made slightly worse by having multiple road entrances - but all except one being unexpected locked. All in a venue that is like a 1990s time capsule. It's not a bad place, but it does feel like it's limited to soorts clubs or cheap weddings. And that's ok.

Food is great. Just parking availability at night events are not the best as it is not well lit. Especially if you end up having too much of a good time. 4.5

EEC make everything easy in planning and executing an event. Beautiful surroundings, fantastic staff and great food. Highly recommended!

Business Christmas Function on a busy race day. What a joyful experience. Friendly staff, great service. We had a good day!

I attended an event, there was plenty of parking. The staff were very good the food was lovely and they answered dietary questions well. It was a lovely experience.

Several times a year, I act as chauffeur for my daughter and some of her schoolfriends, when they are attending events (e.g., including plays, school balls, concerts) at the Ellerslie Event Centre. They always report that they enjoyed the event and that the facilities were good. 👍 - so this is really their rating, not mine.

Attended/worked an event here at Ellerslie Events Centre. Gorgeous location, very big. Great staff.

Pop-up Globe Theatre. Whether you've been to a Shakespeare play or not I highly recommend having this experience. Plenty of parking. Fun and happy entertainment. Fantastic.

Multifaceted event centre. Hosts everything from theatre to business conferences to social events. Large capacity. Plenty of car parking a big bonus. However it feels dated and lacks character.

Good place for meetings and functions. Their catering is superb.

Orakei Overload 2nd race of the day, lost our bet horse still running Orakei. Let the course going back the 7th 🤞

We were here as a stall holder. Great space for a smaller expo, great atmosphere and practical with the onsite buffet and seating, keeping visitors around a little longer.

Omg the venue was mindblowing in how they adorned the room for the school ball. The pyrotechnics that the DJ had was also a mindblowing game changer.

Great hotel. Super easy place to conduct business from. Everything you need close to the city and close to the motorway on and off ramps for north and south access.

The whole place is good but the only thing that they need to do is to show the entrance because when the onehunga high school ball was starting there was no way to get in with the GPS so what ended up with the entrance we all had to get in through the hospital entrance that was the only down side to the venue and I am honestly like the staff because of there attitude towards myself and maybe even to the students at onehunga high school so as in other words the staff are so good but the entrance is the only thing that they need to show

A little difficult to find in the dark. Free parking - however signage outside the building is confusing. Good size function room and enjoyable food.

Attended the Retirement and Travel expo. Lots of information for those who were interested regarding travel, places to live, other relevant stands relating to the aging population.

Came here for an event the food was amazing. Desert was average but the place is just gorgeous. Great for functions.😍

Pop up Globe theatre was fantastic! Great players and fabulous offerings of drinks and nibblies made for an authentic Shakespearean evening.

It’s big and has good food, but the placement of the dancing stage is not the best because it’s too small.

Attended as a part of an educators conference. Facilities were maintained to a high standard and the food was of a very high quality.

Food is great and so are the facilities but the parking has been cut back and is a long walk especially if the weather isn't good.

Flush race track. 2 excellent stadiums. Very well manicured. Great spot for events.

It's old but serves the purpose. Don't like being seated on a 'dance floor' it makes for a very moving experience.
