Gravity Events were one of my favourite vendors I hired for our wedding. They were amazing on all fronts - communication was incredible, setting up, going the extra mile, and the DJ was perfect at reading the room and getting everyone dancing. I sent through the plan I had of our reception, and they noticed that the measurements were out from what I had ordered and the lights wouldn't be long enough so asked if I wanted to amend - and when we weren't able to attach lighting to the wall they provided stands to hold the fairy lights up. The DJ was great, he had everyone on the dance floor with the perfect songs for all age groups. All very well priced as well - couldn't thank them enough :)

Just had gravity events DJ our wedding this past weekend, and man the the DJ was awesome! They were so easy to deal with and the DJ was on fire! He read the crowd so we'll and everyone kept saying how good he was. Thank you again for doing such an incredible job. Highly recommend!

I've had a great first experience renting out lighting equipment from Gravity. They have excellent, quality equipment at affordable prices and a friendly, helpful and honest approach which I genuinely appreciated. Looking forward to my next gig already! :)

We worked with Gravity to create a product launch in a local Aeroplane Hangar & loved working with the team! The setup crew were professional, hard working & heaps of fun to work with + Dave ensured we had explored all options (even ones I hadn't considered before) before choosing the best set up for our event. Gravity's new LED screen blew us, & our customers, away & was the perfect way to premiere a behind the scenes documentary we had prepared for the launch. The velvet curtains behind the screen were a great touch too. Will 100% be working with Gravity for events in the future.

We worked with Gravity events recently for a work function and I couldn't be happier with them. The venue looked amazing with the festoon lighting and up lighting along the walls, we also had a photo booth and DJ through Gravity which were crowd favourites. Dave and Amanda are lovely and were fantastic to work with and very helpful which made our planning that much easier. We would definitely recommend and for our next work functions we will come back to Gravity.

Gravity Events were absolutely awesome at our wedding recently. Mat was our amazing DJ! He read the crowd really well and made sure the dance floor kept pumping. Kelsey was great on the photo booth too and was also kept busy with our guests! Dave and his team are super easy to talk to and they answered all my questions. We are so happy with the service we got from Gravity Events! We highly recommend!

Dave was amazing to deal with and made sure everything was all set and we were happy with the arrangements before the event. Josh our photographer was exceptional! We are in love with the photos and he had amazing people skills. Would definitely get photos for events done through you guys again

Absolutely fantastic! Priced well and great service. We hired them for our wedding reception and had a series of compliments from guests about them. Lighting was excellent and the DJ had everyone up and dancing until the very end. Absolutely perfect!

Gravity is hands down the best production supplier in Dunedin and easily one of the best New Zealand has to offer. Dave and his crew are super professional and really push the boundaries for production from festivals and club shows to flat party’s and private events. We have worked consistently with Gravity for 3 years now as our sole production supplier for all our Dunedin events. All there gear is top of the line and they always exceeded my wildest expectations with their designs and quality of work. Extremely competitive prices as well! Gravity is the perfect one stop shop for all your production needs in the South Island.

Dave and his Gravity Team were amazing to work with! We had to relocate our College Ball to onsite due to covid restrictions and they went above and beyond to ensure we still had an amazing night. Highly recommend for any event.

We had such an incredible experience working with Gravity Events for our Mackenzie College prom this year!! They were absolutely amazing to work with and so easy and flexible, they went above and beyond to make it a fantastic night for us. The DJ was great, everyone loved the music and we've had tons saying it was better than at any prom we have had previously! Gravity Events also provided us with uplighting around the room which made the venue look so so cool. Overall we loved working with them and will 100% be booking them again! Dave and his team at Gravity are absolutely brilliant! I highly recommend them for any aspect whether it be Photography, Lighting, Sound or Dj - everything they provide is super high quality and definitely worth your money. The Gravity team are all lovely and willing to help you with anything in any way they can. We recently used them for our Formal and After Party and without them our events would not have been the success they were! Their work rate is phenomenal with our photos being out within two days! We hired a photo booth for our dinner event and the Gravity Events team were so helpful and accommodating. They added our branding onto the photo strips for us and even provided props to go with the booth for that added touch of fun for our photos. Highly recommend for any occasion.

We recently engaged the team at Gravity Events to provide sound, lighting and staging for a large school event offsite. I cannot praise the team enough. They were quickly onboard with our requirements and worked with the venue personnel to ensure the whole organisation of the event was easy and coordinated. Our students association roll with Gravity for all our events each year - ball, wine and cheese, camp etc. They have superb Dj's who cater for exactly the tunes you're going for. They also have exceptional photographers. Dave (the owner) is such a pleasure to work with and super flexible with hours and pricing! He is always willing to go above and beyond to help you out. The team is extremely punctual, professional and they love what they do! We will continue to use Gravity as our main form of entertainment. 10/10.

The Team at Gravity work extremely hard to provide an exceptional service at a cost effective price. We used Gravity for the commerce ball recently held at Toitu Museum and were very happy with their services. Dave is extremely knowledgable and an expert in this industry. Super easy to work with.

Gravity was amazing at our ball and afterball. They were enthusiastic and able to match the pace of anything that went off schedule at our ball. At the afterball they were really fun to work with and we had a great evening due to them. It was also great to see that they seemed to be enjoying their night also! Love the passion! The decorations were perfectly fitting to our theme, the photobooth was AWESOME and the editing and quality of the pictures were amazing. They worked amazingly with our sources and have a great choice in music when our prepared playlist finished. I may only say that the volume was a little too quiet on the night, but can be quickly adjusted. Great experience.

Had Gravity Events at our wedding reception with a great package that included a DJ, photobooth and up-lighting. The DJ did an amazing job of reading the crowd and getting people up dancing through the night. The photobooth was enjoyed by all ages and made for a great keepsake to take home. Really, kind, considerate and helpful team. The Sound equipment works great and the D.J was fantastic. You provide a list of good dance music, and a playlist of good dance music is played, at a great volume, with awesome lights. We were able to dance the night away.

Fantastic Company. We recently used Gravity Events for our NZCU South Christmas Party and hired the photo booth and dance floor. They were such a hit on the night. The staff were so easy to deal with and everything was a breeze. Highly recommend them and will certainly use them again.

We had an amazing, wonderful, unforgettable day, James (the DJ) was great and nailed the timing and quality of the sound and music for the ceremony perfectly. Amazing service! They helped us put on a grand formal for Middleton Grange. Offers a wide range of services and is your all in one event company, so it puts off stress for you! Gravity provided photography and lighting for my 21st and I would highly recommend them. It is very easy to organise an event with them, simply say what you want and then arrive to your event with everything already setup! The pictures taken were up online very quickly after the event and top notch in both quantity and quality.

We've been working closely with Gravity for the past two years, they have done production for us on 100+ music events and always deliver an excellent service. We would recommend them to anyone looking for a competitive package and an amazing final product.

Couldn't have asked for anything more from Gravity! Nothing was too much hassle and everything we asked for, and more, was delivered! Super stress free and they were so organised and lovely to deal with! We had two night events in succession, one at Larnach Castle and one at Toitu and they did everything for us, from beautiful table decorations, to the lighting, sound, photos, Photo Booth etc etc. Also an amazingly quick turn around with the beautiful photos! There is nothing I can fault Gravity on at all. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

Gravity provided a complete event package for Law Ball 2018, put on by the Society of Otago University Law Students for 700 students. Dave and the entire team at Gravity Events truly made the night incredible. The full package included photographers, an instaprint Photo Booth, a gorgeous photo backdrop for pictures, a great DJ, sound production (mics, DI’s, foldbacks and sound tech for the band we had play) and a lighting package with lighting tech (fairy lights strung above the dance floor, smoke machines and an epic light display throughout the evening.) Super friendly staff, incredible service and excellent value. Gravity Events is perfect for all event needs!

We used Gravity for our High School Graduation party and it it was the best thing we ever did. Dave and his team were organised, efficient aswell as understanding and flexible. Our event went off without a hitch and people will be talking about it for years to come.

Just had these guys for Hands on Otago where they organised a DJ, lighting, photography and the whole works for the high school kids who attended. They rocked it, everything was super fun and super professional, the music was great and the photos have come up with fantastic quality. The kids loved the whole thing, and Gravity Events really spared no expense to deliver an awesome experience! 5/5 would definitely recommend.

We hired a sound system from Gravity Events for our wedding. We were organising from afar and David was excellent. We organised it all via email and everything went very smoothly.

School formal. Gravity Events were excellent and communicated very well with the young people. very approachable and obliging. They provided the hall lighting, outside sound system, photo booth and photographer. Thank you very much.

Hired a portable sound system and it had great clear sound and the options of wireless and wired mics was fantastic. Music played all through the night. Drop off and pick up service and I had a thorough induction on how to use the device. Thanks very very much. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A++

Dave was great to deal with and accommodating when it came to formulating a package that was affordable for our Hokonui Culture Feast event. Blair did an awesome job on the night and where we'd previously struggled with keeping kids entertained, the Photobooth came into its own!

Thank you all so much for everything you did for in the lead up to our Wedding, on the day and afterwards. The fact that you offer so many services made it so super convenient and easy when planning our Wedding. Having you take care of the music, lighting, sound and of course the brilliant photo booth and videoing made the day just so much less stressful for us. The Photobooth was probably the best thing we did. Everyone loved it and I think it totally helped to amp people up and get them all silly and into the party. DJing and lighting was fab. After the older crowd disappeared we requested a Rihanna song and then the DJ just went with that and played newer, similar songs which us young ones thoroughly enjoyed boogying to. The cameramen managed to capture all the special moments and what was even better was that we hardly noticed that they were there. This is exactly what we wanted. I have watched the video sooo many times I’m just so obsessed with it. All my friends and family love it too and I know a lot of them have watched it over and over as well. It will be so wonderful to be able to watch it in years to come and be reminded all over again of what an amazing day it was. I’m normally the kind of person who will find something bad in the way I look but there is literally nothing bad in this video, you have made us all look stunning!! The use of the drone made the video that much more epic and the way the video is slightly slowed down gives it a movie-like feel and at first I honestly couldn’t believe that that was really us and our Wedding. I would highly recommend to anyone I know getting married to come to you guys for anything they need! Having the video is invaluable and I can’t thank you enough for all the work you have put into it.

The whole experience was seamless and faultless - Dave and his team at Gravity delivered an amazing experience for the 150 students on our Law Camp - The team at Gravity made the whole process so so so easy and were an absolute saviour when it came to logistics and organising the layout and specs of the event (owing to their experience that they weren't hesitant to share) - We can not speak highly enough of the team or the setup and will 100% be using them at any opportunity we can in the future!!
