G.It's the Fieldays! This is always a highpoint on the farm calender, as are the freebies (stock poles etc) and very good prices on necessary items like new gumboots (less mud this year). The food and toilets have vastly improved since my first visit in 1972. It's sad to see the programme booklet has been replaced by an app that is patchy and not as seamless as the developer probably thinks it is. Cell phone coverage was poor to non existent for 2Degrees customers. Above all, it's great to return to a large gathering with the family.
G.2019. Very nice place. Very peaceful. Far better then Auckland motorhome shows. Cheaper entry. By the way: why should there an entry fee (at any show at all) at all when all the exhibitors want to sell things to you. Would be like going grocery shopping and paying admission fee to get into the supermarkets. Free parking . Very well organized. Weather was lovely too. Been there 2020 again. Will be back in 2021.
D.Cool venue and big props for hosting six60! We came from the states JUST for this concert and it was a great show!
Only real complaints were the disorganization (MAINLY when leaving... No transport accomodations like other cities and a huge lack of the staff's crowd maintenance) and the overwhelming amount of dust that was being kicked up by the grows - we were couching and sneezing up dust for 2 days.
In anticipation of a crowd of some 12k persons+ they could've laid something down (gravel/faux turf) so that the hoards of people rushing to escape the concert grounds wouldn't kick up a storm of debris.
As much is to be expected of an outdoor venue, but the show was hella worth it!
T.Have been here for Parachute music festival, Northern Easter Camp, Festival One and Field Day. There are always awesome events being held here. It has its own micro climate in summer so always remember to pack for blustering heat and heavy rain downpour. Could probably do with a few more permit toilets.
K.What a place to host a Jamboree with 4500 Scouts! Cool and smooth! A bit dusty though. A pity the surrounding trees weren’t there anymore. The toilets could use an update too, but it’s easy to get there and the staff is helpful and friendly.
N.Quite a big place...! We attended an corporate event. Best for this type of events. Almost every facility you get. Nice decorations. Good food.

R.Was here during Festival One. The venue is superb for the amount of people attending the event and creating memorable moments with family and friends. As you can see there's plenty of food, entertainment and atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

C.Attended the biggest event of it's kind in the southern hemisphere. Field day. Plenty of space for exhibitions and parking. Problem is traffic can be quite a problem with an event this huge otherwise what a location to hold and exhibition or event.

R.We had a great informative day with lots to see and enjoy, although we felt a little less of an experience than previous years but would assume this is still a spin off from the covid year. Found all the information we specifically came for with plenty of food outlets giving a great variety of choices. It was as always still a great day out.
D.Easter Camp was Awesome! The organizers did a great job! Pity the gas ran out for hot showers and the next day we ran out of water for showers in the field and had to walk to the carpark. Only things I would recommend avoiding next time. Overall great!
D.The parking here was extremely well organised, event centre is well paved so no need to get muddy, fieldays facilities were excellent

Only problem was the traffic getting there.....maybe a bus shuttle for everyone could help like at hobbiton.
S.Jamboree 2020 was great just the venue was very dusty and needs more trees
E.It is a good day out. However, my shopping is targeted e.g. I would like to see all the spas or gates together & not have to go from one end of the venue to the other. After so many years, their organisation of stalls are poor, wifi is also poor & their app is difficult to use.
D.Well organised event. Everything catered for. Great selection of stall holders and displays. Needs a few musicians playing in the food areas. Free to use umbrellas or give away ponchos wouldnt go a miss.
I didnt see any competitions - may have overlooked them - you need two days to really appreciate and explore the Fieldays.
E.Amazing venue for huge events. Easy access to toilets and electricity. Good area around the creek by The Bledisloe building with lots of shade and a calm place to relax. Close to Hamilton and Cambridge to go for a quick shop if necessary.
G.It took us 40 minutes to get in. That wasn't so bad but then the parking was terrible cars got stuck. We took a bus back up after and that was nice instead of walking back but then we found a car had parked behind us and we couldn't get out so we drove across a small drain to get out.
C.I do some work there but it is well laid out for events. Parking is definitely in short supply thigh, especially for larger events like fieldays
P.Excellent layout for big events such as festivalOne and Easter camp. Facilities are in good condition, and the centre itself is well mapped, so you can't get lost.
E.Well organised and run event. The event staff did a great job directing traffic & kept the grounds tidy. Toilets etc were clean & well stocked with supplies. I would definitely go again to another event there.

G.Awesome being at the 2021 International /National Fielddays, I so love this event it's awesome for the Waikato District, Hamilton City and New Zealand.
A.Had a very good Fieldays experience other than the food from multiple vendors - in all cases they were overly expensive and the quality and quantity was well below par.
M.Toilets easily accessed. Lovely food, so much to see and do. Wonderfully informative staff.

A.A fantastic venue for many events with super friendly and wondeful staff, we have had 2 craft show events there and hope to have our next event in November all going well with covid levels but the team at Mystery Creek are just fabulous to deal with.
w.Best time to go is when Fielddays is on . There is so much to see and do, that you need 2 days.

M.Good venue with vast area, toilets, open space, large ballrooms, good food, well communicated. But one thing is to mention, I am from a developing country and I've not visited lots of event sites in NZ.
L.The organisation and improvements are noticed and improved every year. Need a tractor with seats on trailers like a team service you can jump on and off. Still a shortage of clean toilets with hot water at the wash basins and people always checking them, they can be really dirty sometimes.
G.Good spaces set up for large events ... Visited for the motorcaravan show and plenty to see ... Milage will vary with event .. But the venue has everything
W.Loved the motor home event. Had tents, bikes, cholocate, pot covers to prevent boil over etc. Wasnt just all caravans and RVs

K.A lovely venue for any event, loads of parking unless it's winter in which case the parking will turn into a swamp. The indoor area has seating in the form of a grandstand as well as toilet facilities.
S.A lot of the smaller businesses, home style were not there. Good to have it back on again.
V.Was at Equidays my daughters birthday present. Great place but just come prepared for all weather's. Found driving in and entry far more streamlined this year making it a quick process.

J.Each year the fieldays gets better and better. My only gripe would be the hour we sat in the car in the bottom orange carpark while others parked closer to the main road pushed in. Need traffic management for the parking lots going out. We had a 2.5 hr drive so 1hr in the parking was very frustrating. Keep up the good work otherwise. 🤗

M.Great location with tonnes of parking for big events. The Fieldays are great day out. Gum boots no longer required as everything is paved.
R.Great events destination. Be prepared to walk for a while from carpark to Gate if your attending an event. Traffic can sometimes be a nightmare as there are only two ways in/out for sometimes 20,000 people.

H.I go there as a volunteer security for the Christian music festival and I catch up with long time friends who I haven't seen since the he last time I was there. They are Family to me. I love the music and the people.
S.Attended NZMCA motorhome & caravan show. Very good facilities, shame food so expensive $5 hotdogs & $5 chips. Enjoyable day.
