R.My husband and I got married at the Hobbiton Movie Set in May this year, and Hannah from Alare was our celebrant and day of co-ordinator. Hannah came as a recommendation to us from the staff at Hobbiton, as she had done weddings there before. She was such an important part of creating our dream wedding.
Our Hobbiton wedding was planned from Australia and we didn’t meet Hannah face to face until just a few days out from the wedding. Hannah organised a skype call with us to make sure that she was the right person for our wedding and we knew from our first meeting that she would be perfect! She has a beautiful, friendly nature and whenever we were in touch, it felt like we were chatting with an old friend.
Hannah was there for us throughout our wedding planning and was always a quick email away and even checked to see how the rest of our wedding planning was going, giving us recommendations for other vendors she had worked with before. She also helped us with the legal requirements such as how to apply for our marriage licence, as this process is different in Australia.
Hannah created a ceremony unique and personal to us. She listened to our needs and wants, found out exactly what marriage and relationships meant to us, learnt about our personal story, and even included some readings from our favourite authors. Hannah was there on our wedding day until our first dance, to make sure everything ran smoothly and helped to set up for the reception. She was also there to make sure I was eating enough and saved me some of the best canapes!
We received lots of compliments from all our family and friends as to what a fantastic job Hannah did on our wedding ceremony. Thanks again Hannah for helping our dream wedding come true. It would not have been the same without you!
