My son recently had his Wedding at Tatum Park.
From what I understand there were initially a few issues with communication, but once Jessica took over it was smooth sailing.
This is a camp, so expect camp style accommodation. - I slept in the big house which was lovely (very old kitchen that can't be used though) but tea and coffee making facilities were available. - Possibly a little pricey.
I also spent a night in a single room in the lodge and this was also very comfortable - again camp accommodation so don't go expecting 5 star! Well priced.
I did hear from a few that the double beds in the lodge were not so great, but that is easily fixed.
The day dawned with rain as a prospect (it was entirely outdoors) - but Jessica kept us informed and was on the ball if we needed to move indoors.
The reception food was good - excellent fare for a cold outdoor evening.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming with the bar staff being chatty. The fire pit was kept going all night long and provided much needed warmth - it created a fantastic atmosphere!
Overall from our experience they are definitely on the way to becoming a great venue - keep up the good work!

Amazing venue. They took such good care of us. Easy communication, fabulous set up, packed down for us as well and made spirits available on request. Beautiful catering, historical accommodation in the homestead, outstanding bonfire

As for the buffet everyone raves about it it especially the canalised walnut beetroot salad a meats melted in your mouth.
Well done to the staff a grounds people.
So don't hesitate book in a you will be so surprised.
PS.. We had a massave bonfire. Beat that

Officiated a wedding here, we chose to stay in our caravan - idyllic spot for a wedding with lots of bush rambles available. Warning though it is right on the main trunk line so trains could be quite noisy.

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Tatum park. everyone was so blown away by the venue and how beautiful the scenery was. Jessica was so helpful with the planning of the day i felt completely stress free leading up to my wedding! The staff that set up and served us and our guests on the day were angels! So lovely and went out of their way to make every request happen! They even opened the kitchen for us the next day and cooked us breakfast when we had not organised to! So glad i found this gem for our day, thanks a bunch team

What an amazing wedding venue!! Beautiful homestead and ceremony area with lots of space for guests to play and entertain. The reception dinner under the stars was epic and to finish off with their bonfire and seating really was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend your next wedding or birthday celebrations at Tatum Park

We stayed at the camping ground on the night of 20 February 2020. What a beautiful spot The grounds are lovely. There are walks that reveal surprises at every turn. A great place to camp. We had the place to ourselves and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We got married here april 2019. Besides a couple of small things our day was amazing! Jess is awesome and Colleen helped so much even brought us all over some breakfast - my makeup artist and hairdresser included!! Harrison done an amazing job decorating the outside area everyone was impressed. Thank you for making our day memorable

Nice place to stay, nice showers and big grounds to play on.

Comfortable, no frills accommodation. A bit of road noise and you'll know the night time train timetable off by heart by the end of your stay. The food was large in quantity and adequate in quality - it won't win any awards but it fills you up.

I have been to two weddings here and loved it so booked it for my daughters wedding. We booked out the whole place for the weekend. I have nothing but admiration for the owners who bent over backwards to make it a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The food was delicious... the best we have had at a wedding. The wedding venue itself...the outside chaple in the trees was amazing and our every need was catered to.
Everyone stayed and thought it was clean and comfortable.
Prices were great. Yes there are some older buildings but that is part of the charm.
I have seen the other comments and can only deduct that they either were expecting city top knotch accomodation and should have stayed in the city or else didnt pay their bill and are trying to discredit the center when owners have requested payment.
I would use this venue again at the drop of a hat and would recommend it to anyone wanting a great experience.

Had a wedding to go to here. Accomodation for what we payed for was fair, and the venue for the wedding was absolutely amazing. Only 2 down sides is 1 the Breakfast was told to start at 9am. When we got there st 9am it had been moved to 9.30 and then into 10am. We had to leave but they were quick with Breakfast refund which was good. 2nd was when got up in the morning to explore the grounds nothing had been cleaned up from previous nights wedding. Was a shame as the place was quite nice to look around.

Tatum park is run by a very hard working close-knit family. The picturesque and somewhat ethereal grounds are the perfect setting for a wedding or large group function. Our family stayed for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and tranquil setting.

A little out of the way place and in the bush. If you're thinking about staying be aware that it's right next to a railway line. Many freight trains run past and you'll probably here one every night.
The cabins are pretty old school but comfortable enough. Great if you're wanting a camping experience.
The conference centre is pretty modern and comfortable.

After my recent attendance at a conference held at Tatum Park, I feel happy in rating 5 stars.
Not only was the Team happy and friendly but also went above and beyond in helping plan and booking what we needed avaliable, and the homestead and landscape was quite extraordinary.
Definitly recommending for future conferences.

Spent a night on the camp ground. Whilst it is tired and the facilities basic the water was piping hot and the place was clean. The owners are really friendly and they are working hard to turn the site into something special.

The people at Tatum are so accommodating, really helpful and have great facilities for both fun (adventure course, playing fields, pool, bonfire) and relaxation (lush gardens) and are pretty convenient to Wellington. Recommend for big groups of people
S.
Good powered campsites (30$ for one campervan with two adults), water from trap (cold and hot), showers, kitchen, fridge, pool, volleyball net plus the facilities of the event center. Well maintained. Camper very close to rail (invisible, because separated by tight row of trees), but only 5 or 6 trains a day. Trees on camping ground block the sun, great!

We had a weekend family reunion. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable, the food everyday was brilliant and plenty of it...The owners and all the staff were very helpful and polite and I would recommend Tatum Park to anyone planning a family reunion or similar function...

Absolutely wonderful location, lovely and helpful staff, delicious food and a well presented, homely room.
Would highly recommend for weddings or functions of any kind.
