K.Wow, what an incredible experience. From Start to finish the team at Heli Weddings went over and above to ensure our day was seamless, stress free, fun and special. Their attention to detail was second to none, their fun friendly vibe was just perfect and nothing was an issue. The ceremony was beautiful and the 4WD adventure afterwards to get to some magnificent locations was fantastic. Thank you so much for everything Meagan and Frederick, your kindness and professionalism made the day!
D.We cannot recommend Heli Weddings enough for a beautiful and memorable wedding elopement experience. Fredrik, Meagan and Laura were all so warm and lovely to work with. They made the whole process stress-free and easy, we didn't need to worry about a thing (paperwork, wedding day itinerary, flowers, hair/make-up, transport, celebrant, photos and more!). Our wedding day was also a lot more special than what we had expected. Fredrik and Meagan were our videographer and photographer. They are extremely talented and know exactly what they are doing. It felt like we were working with friends who we'd known for ages. Thank you team for an experience and wedding we will never forget!

s.We had the most amazing wedding day with Heli Weddings! Our families were overseas and couldn't join us due to COVID, so we decided on a once in a lifetime experience with the Heli Weddings team instead. Everything was made super easy and professional right from the very first interaction with Meagan. We picked the Milford package (approximately 4 hours) and ended up doing a new route (can highly recommend- approximately 6 hours!). The whole day was absolutely incredible and we could not wipe the smile off our faces. The variation in scenery, vegetation, weather and location is spectactular. We saw lakes, mountains, waterfalls, oceans, rivers, sounds, glaciers and snow. Afterwards we were left with the thought- is there really any other way to get married?! Meagan & Fredrik - the photographers, were so good at picking the best spots for photos.
Brad the pilot knew so much about the areas we flew over and could land on the tiniest tufts of grass.
Tracey our celebrant was fantastic and also extremely helpful for the rest of the day after the ceremony.
The Heli Weddings team were amazing: friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and great at what they do- we would recommend this experience to EVERYONE and for any occasion!! We are already talking about doing it again for vow renewals in 10 years time.

S.There are no words to describe the spectacular experience that we had on our Milford Ultimate package with Heli Weddings. From the first email they were simply amazing. They thought of every detail and made the process so simple and relaxing, I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are getting married you need to do it with Heli Weddings.
On the day, Meagan and Frederick made us feel comfortable from the moment they arrived to pick us up from our accommodation. It made being in front of the camera so much easier and made the day simply wonderful. The scenery, well there are absolutely no words for that. It was breathtaking, must be seen to be believed.
The companies they engage for the celebrant, hair and makeup, flowers and the helicopter are professional, kind and incredibly experienced! I have never seen flowers like my bouquet and could not be more pleased. My hair and makeup looked stunning!
The helicopter pilot from over the top helicopters, Rene, was so experienced and knowledgeable he made our trip an absolute pleasure.
The ceremony, put together by Glennys from Live Love Wed, was lovely and captured our love so well. Designing it with her was so easy and allowed us to really tailor to ceremony to what we wanted.
We cannot thank the amazing team at Heli Weddings enough for giving us the best day of our lives!!

N.My now husband and I were very excited about our wedding with Heli Weddings. We were expecting it to be beautiful, but we didn’t expect just how incredible beautiful this experience would be. It is fair to say that our wedding took our breath away. We were a little nervous at first, having booked the wedding from a long way overseas; but Heli Weddings was in contact with us every step of the way. Once we landed in New Zealand, it was shortly after that we had the privilege of meeting the team that would make our dream wedding come true. It was not only nice seeing the team we had been communicating with for months in person. But was a pleasure meeting such professional and fun people who worked so hard to make our dream come true. They had set up such a wonderful wedding day for us, and were the best team we could have hoped to work with. The planning was perfect and the photographer was beyond amazing. Not to mention the fabulous Officiant and pilot that helped tie everything together in the best possible way. For anyone apprehensive about the idea of getting married on a mountain, eloping in New Zealand, having a destination wedding, or anything else. If you go through Heli Weddings, you have absolutely nothing to worry about; and they will make all your wedding dreams become a reality. Laura kept a close eye on the weather a couple of days before the wedding and it turned out the wind was too way too strong for the helicopter to fly. Laura and Megan both patiently went through alternatives with us, organised every thing so we didn't have to worry. Megan was our photographer and she was super helpful and energetic. We are just so thankful that every one was so nice and helpful and we had such a wonderful time. Not to mention the scenary from The Ledge was incredible, we couldn't have asked for more.

Location, photography, the wedding officiant, Glennys Logan, helicopter pilot, picnic on the top of the mountain, EVERYTHING! I could not recommend a better company to handle your big day! My husband and I are from the US, so all planning and details were handled remotely and I can honestly say, the process could not be any easier. K.If I could give more stars I would! An incredible crew who put up with 12 months of questions and changes just have the weather spoil it all. The weather contingencies out in place were perfect and all 3 locations were perfect! Megan was so easy going and incredible to deal with. Fredrick our photographer was funny, professional and very helpful with 2 inexperienced subjects :)
