First off. Great welcoming at reception. Rooms are awesome clean and tidy. Decor is recent. Ordered 2 desserts through room service and they were delicious. Will try the restaurant tomorrow and will update my review. I'm sure it will be great

We had a very pleasant stay at Suncourt, staff we very accommodating and friendly. Handy to charging station and close to main shops. Food was very good. Happily come back next time.

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered to show us the room before we said yes. The room was nice and clean and modern. There was not alot of noise and the location was great.

Perfect location, magnificent views, beautifully renovated rooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, we will be back. Thank you John and Chrissy

First time there, Went to a first aid course, was good and fast. Also had lunch at the restaurant there was delicious, definitely recommended there. Big thumbs 👍 up from me

Well located close to everything Taupo has to offer. Nice rooms recently renovated. Great food too!

Probably the cleanest motel I have ever stayed at. The rooms are fresh and look newly refurbished.

Fantastic stay, great people, always friendly and helpful. Rooms are tidy and organized. Beds are super soft and comfy. All rooms have adequate heating solutions. The restaurant is a must do the food is absolutely divine, could not ask for a better meal , breakfast, lunch and dinner all hit the spot. Would recommend a one night or even a whole week stay at the Suncourt. Thanks

Bad experience with man at reception when we booked in. Rooms was fantastic. Cleaning staff very good.

Thought a great location. Nice eating facilities. Reasonably priced. Pity no drying facilities in the room, like not even heated towel rails. Would go back and stay again.

We needed a place to stay & she offered us a room for the night as we were travelling. We didn't have a credit card but accepted debit & gave us a discount which made our night. Room was so clean and we were pretty happy. Great place, great staff and would come back again.

Modern, well furnished rooms. Great location and the bonus of an onsite restaurant and bar with happy hour. Very clean and tidy and very helpful staff. Appreciated a phone call letting me know my room was available.

Always enjoy staying at Suncourt. Close to town, the mini golf across the road is fun too!

We stayed here for three night's, in a basic two bedroom unit, amenities and location was great. Thank u to Chloe and her team they were amazing and resolved any concern I had, my only issue was the wifi down in room 44 it was fine for 10 minutes or so then it would lag then completely drop off and disconnect and everytime u try reconnect u would need to forget network and connect again that was annoying, and if u get your room serviced be sure to ask housekeeping to change your sheets overall it was a pleasant stay.

Excellent rooms. Beds super comfy and modern. Restaurant service professional and friendly and menu true to description. Don't expect huge meals they are the right amount on each plate that was served. Risotto seafood unfortunately slightly over cooked especially the crayfish. All other dishes rave reviews

Great customer service. Quick service at the reception. Great view of the lake and room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Money worth with exceptional food at the restaurant. My regular accommodation moving forward.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay because the room was neat and tidy so perfectly clean and so superb for the both of us. The service was excellent, and the bar and restaurant was the best food we have experienced. We will definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone that wants to stay the for any amount of time. Can't wait to go again and meet the fantastic people. 100% great service

Great place to chill after an extra long diverted drive from Auckland

2nd time staying here, both times have been really nice. The bed is really good and room nice and clean. Both times our meals have been 4 out of 5. The mussel done in wine and cream the best! and the seafood selection main so yummy! both 5 out of 5 ( and we eat out alot! ) Breakfast is good and tasty although a quiet expensive for portion sizes . I would definitely recommend

This was such a great place to stay. The rooms have been carefully renovated, they are smart, clean, and spacious. A great location, walking distance to shops and lake even with little kids. The spa is great for a dip before bed! Highly recommend. We will come back for sure.

Nice food. Nice environment. Nice staff. I had Keto plater (for two) which was nice. Wife got fish & chips. My Keto players to much for one, so got my left over in doggie bag & had for next day bruch. Still nice.

This hotel is set back from Lake Taupo but has rooms which have a lake view with balcony. We stayed in one of these 2 bedroomed apartments. They were very clean. Kitchen facilities were good as was the bathroom. There is a playground and pool as well as a restaurant next door. It c is a short walk to other eateries. I would stay there again.

Staff were all very pleasant, bistro food was amazing and the rooms are great! The only real let-down is that you can hear EVERYTHING in the surrounding rooms, especially if you're on the bottom floor. The timber flooring outside the rooms amplifies every step as well.

Good location. Clean room and space. Great hospitality all the way. Only 1 downfall. Bed is a bit too soft and not enough support. Probably could do with a replacement to newer bed. When they do we defo will come back.

The reservation lady was very friendly and typically down to earth a-la kiwi style. At check out the staff were super friendly and I left feeling relaxed, well rested and as if I had got great value and excellent customer service. Lovely view from the room with a comfortable bed and the buffet breakfast was amazing.

I really liked this hotel! It’s clean and tidy, the safe are super nice and it’s walking distance to the town centre. Lake Taupo is across the road. I had a water view room which was nice.

A great hotel for people on a budget. I had a brief encounter at check in, but the lady was lovely and explained what I needed to know. The balcony was lovely although the weather didn't lend itself into sitting outside. Would recommend ringing and asking for best price.

Their room are spacious and you will have no worries about where to put your baggage. The room had been renovated/upgraded and was well appointed. The location is so central to everything. Our guests were so impressed with everything so I expect you'll see return bookings, we definitely will be returning.

Comfy beds, good lighting, close to restaurants and walking distance to town. Friendly staff on arrival too. Only issue would be not enough comfy seating for 3 guests in a 4 bed unit.

Slightly off from the Waterfront , a quiet abode awaits. The view in the morning of the 3 Mountains were amazing and of course thr lake. Very Friendly Staff, Great Restaurant and Conference Room. Stayed for 3 days with our Organization/Work Conference, and for that I Highly Recommend to other Businesses for the future.

Good accommodation for children with pool and playground. Very easy walk into town. Room we stayed in was well proportioned and had two beds. Small kitchenette though, and on lower floor so you could hear people talking and moving above you.

Great place to stay. They have a pool and trampoline plus a playground. The rooms were nice and reception was helpful and checked us in quickly. Free parking is handy and you can pull right up your your room to unload.

In room ordering from the restaurant is ok and they deliver your meal hot too there is a outdoor pool and heated spa fantastic views quite too I had a ute and they had alot of generous space for me to turn and park it and if dining in is your pleasure they have a fabulous restaurant available as well.

A very welcoming front desk, clean rooms and facilities and super close to the lake and nearby eateries. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be prefereing this place for our next visit too. The only complaint is with the bistro and their staff specifically which had no vegetarian/vegan options whatsoever and very rude super inflexible service (basically not willing to deviate from the set menu whatsoever despite us trying to work with their limited options). They need to learn to speak with patience and respect to customers as their way of handling us led to us bailing on breakfast and eating elsewhere.

Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. Clearly recently decorated and we'll set out. Only complaint would be the shower which lacked pressure and had temperature fluctuations.

The rooms at the Suncourt are spacious and relaxing. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful, as were the waitress '. The meals were divine. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay and enjoy Taupo.

Nice hotel with fantastic staff and service, restaurant menu a bit dated but had a beautiful dinner with exceptional service which bigger hotels could learn from. Well done Suncourt Hotel i will be back as a business traveler Im sure listening to customer reviews this could be one of the best Taupo hotels.

Loved our stay here rooms clean and tidy, Spacious. Loved the view of lake Taupo. Staff were friendly and professional. Beds were so so comfy had a great night's rest

We held our two day Board planning hui here and everyone loved it! My Board have already agreed to come back next year. Wonderful and helpful staff, great facilities, excellent rooms, lovely kai and reasonably priced.

It was clean, quiet and the food was great. I was working so didn't really check facilities, but it looked all good. Staff were friendly and polite. Plenty of parking.

Of us stayed here for a work meeting in Taupo and the top floor rooms overlooking the late were excellent. For how little the room cost per night we found it to be great value. Swimming pool did have people using it but was quite cloudy and did not look up to public health standards.

Had a good time with the family. Nice pool, good kids play area, central to town. Had an amazing dinner at the restaurant, with a group of 15 everyone enjoyed and loved our high quality food and experience!

Good sized, clean and tidy room. Open 24/7. Service was great, provided a quiet room as we had a baby in tow.

Had one bad experience here, but the manager said she would look after us if we came back. We did and enjoyed our stay.

The Location of the hotel is perfect. Facilities were basic but you go to Taupo for the outdoor activities. Sometimes we stay at the Hilton Taupo but this is not bad and then you at least have some money to spend on food with the reasonable room rate at the Suncourt.

Nice rooms, has restaurant and good views of Lake. Room service which is also good.Has Skytv and heat pumps. No microwave in small studios. Parking for trucks.

The staff's are super nice. Rooms are cozy, view superb and location is fantastic. Walking distance to many shops supermarket and restaurants. Won't hesitate to stay here again ifnimdo drop by this area.

Lovely clean hotel. Best accessible room on the planet! Room service dinner was exceptionally slow. People were all wonderful.

Was not the four star experience they claimed. No kleenex, no ice or ice bucket. No help with luggage for stairs only 2nd floor room. Soap, etc. In non-labeled dispensers. Shower so small you could hardly turn around in. Needs updating, bed too hard.

Excellent hotel at Taupo waterfront. Can't ask for a better hotel for accomodation, service and hospitality. Staff/owner was vey helpful, they ensure their guest's comfort and need were met to the guest's standard and even more. Suncourt Hotel is a 5 star.

Stayed here on Friday 19th October till Monday the 25th very comfortable rooms and beds and heated spa pool.

I loved the view I had at suncourt and the food there was amazing breakfast and dinner was good would go back and stay there again and loved the customer service and their service

New curtains are needed to block out security lights that went on and off all night. Room was good otherwise.

I helped organize a weekend convention here and the Suncourt exceeded all our expectations. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests, were efficient, cheerful and helpful during the event, and the facilities were top-notch. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended for an event.
