J.Axe throwing is so fun and the team at Sweet Axe are amazing! My partner and I went here for the first time on our third date and returned again this weekend. It was great to see Marcus and the team who let us warm up in a lane, it was a blast.
The group we were with both times were fantastic, great way to get in a decent arm workout.
Would highly recommend to anyone thinking they would enjoy it. Simply put you will.

Staff are very professional and fun and down to earth. We had Alex, and she was sublime! Hyping us up, giving us good tips and making sure we had fun...which we did!

N.Staff Christmas/End of Year Celebration
It was a fantastic way to kick of our end of year celebration and the feedback from the team was how much fun they had.
Hari (axe-pert) provided great tips and was really good at amping up the group and keeping the interest going during the games.
My team are aged between 25 and 65 and everyone was able to throw an axe and hit the target by the end of the session.
This is a great team activity and the Sweet Axe team are fantastic to deal with. Thanks everyone!
F.I organised this event for our Christmas Party and everyone LOVED it! We had 17 people throwing, all had a great time. The staff were fun, energetic and filled our time with training, games and competitions. I would highly recommend this activity for team building or just a fun time out. We will be coming again! Thanks everyone!

h.Had a work group do at the Brewtown site. To be honest, I was not expecting too much. The staff did a great job of inspiring the competitive streak to come out. Throwing the axes was pretty simple and safe. The staff kept score, so final tally was recorded and allowed a "final 4" playoff to crown the days champion. - it came down to a final throw to hit the sweetspot - which of course I did.
E.I was a little nervous but our instructor Alex was great and walked us through everything. It was super fun and I would definitely recommend.

I’ve never thrown axes before, but after an incredibly simple and fast training, I could have the amazing feeling of spiking the target! Baaaanzaaaai!!!

s.We did not know what to do with our family that was visiting from AkL and decided to try axe throwing. I have terrible coordination and thought it was a bad idea (and I’m 6months pregnant). Well I was proven wrong 😃we had so much fun! It was exciting and fast paced and our instructor was just so awesome and kept it exciting ❤️ Thank you!!
Q.Celebrated a friends birthday and had a fantastic time. Our axe-pert B was a fun and informative teacher, was so helpful, friendly and a one woman cheering squad to keep us motivated.

I paid $65 for an hour session without booking in advance (i just walked without realizing i could have booked a reservation) and their staff still managed to accommodate me by grouping me with two other people.
At this particular store, there's a guy named Rob who manages to make your session even more fun than it already is.
Simple to learn, great value for money and tons of fun. I hope I can visit some time again soon!

C.Throwing axes is a deeply satisfying experience. At sweet axe, the staff are friendly and enthusiastic, the music rocks and the atmosphere is one of friendly competition. I was addicted from the first throw. League nights are incredible, and I would recommend this awesome activity to almost anyone. It’s not about strength, it’s all about technique and a zen-like calm under pressure. Seriously, if you’ve never thrown an axe, book in and give it a whirl.
B.We visited the Sweet Axe Throwing team with friends this week and had so much fun! Our axe-spert Harry was really helpful and had us all throwing successfully in no time, she was awesome. We will definitely be back!
D.Initially, I thought axe throwing sounded pretty boring. That was until we got into it and I have to say, it was an absolute blast that I'd recommend to everyone! The team at Sweet Axe Throwing are really welcoming, they teach you some easy ways to constantly nail the target, and then get you into a tournament. Now I was part of a big group (15 or so) and it got competitive really quickly! It was a hell of a lot of fun and so satisfying slamming an axe into the target. I'd also say in terms of value it was really good, we were there a good couple of hours and threw many axes for the $50 fee. They have refreshments and other entertainment there too (Street Fighter 2 turbo anyone?). So yeah, whether a big group or small you'll have a great time at Sweet Axe Throwing. Also be sure to turn up sober enough as throwing axes drunk is a bad idea. They won't let you participate if they think you are too drunk, so be warned.
M.Axe throwing!!!! What an amazing experience, Lloyd and Sarah run a fantastically set up venue. All the axe-perts who work at Sweet Axe are super friendly and welcoming. No skill needed as perfect stress free tutelage is given throughout your time here. Go down and sling some steel, you won't be disappointed.
L.We had the best time at Sweet Axe this week. All of us from Netball Central Zone enjoyed our pre xmas party there with Carla winning the final against Irene.

C.A group of us did this for a stag party, and it was amazing! Our axe-pert Rhayn was great at showing everyone how to throw, getting us hyped, and helping us to tweak our technique as we went along.
Lots of fun, it can be as competitive as you make it, and its all done in a very safe way.
A.I'd heard good things, so when I got offered a chance to go along the other week I jumped at it. The activity itself is insanely fun, and our 'axeperts' had some great banter. I liked it so much I'm going back this weekend.
S.First ever time throwing axes, It was axeceptional! We had the most wonderful and patient teacher. Krista is her name and throwing axes is definitely her game! I came out desperate for more so will be joining the league come the new year.
