C.Great place for all types of activities. Was at a funeral there today, plenty of space, large area for the refreshments after, over 100 people there, adequate space, and for refreshments after. Had beer festivals there in the past. Highly recommended

D.I've never actually been inside The Boatshed, but as an underwater photographer, it's a nice spot, because eagle rays sunbathe in the shallow waters of the nearby lagoon.
I get some good shots of these extraordinary creatures ever summer.
W.Had breakfast here for a post budget event. One thing I wasn't happy about was they had a number of ham and egg toasted croissants that were burnt. Other than that good,

R.Historical venue with decent facilities
D.What an amazing spot for a reception or party! I recently photographed a wedding at the Boatshed and thoroughly enjoyed the night. The waiting staff were competent and efficient, the food was great, and the venue had been decorated beautifully. I am looking forward to working in this awesome spot again! A.Went for an event with outside catering so I can't really say much about food or service, but the venue itself is great. Harbour views, really nice inside, great atmosphere. Recommend.
D.Had a formal dinner here as part of a conference and was impressed by the facilities, location and ambience. A first for me with a set menu with choice of mains - no alternative drop here. The staff were friendly and attentive. Well recommended.
D.I am biased, as we got married here some years ago, but it really is the jewel in the crown of some of the great Wellington venues. As a place to book for events, you have a lot of freedom to bring your own caterer, staff etc, and the outlook is amazing. As a business, we frequently host out photobooths here and each time we love it, and know that brides, grooms and families do too.
T.Amazing venue to hold an event of up to 200 people.
N.What a scam. So we ended up with a $35 charge for eggs on toast because apparently the additions on the menu are $4-5 EACH even though the menu says you get them all for that price. Then the staff said "ohh sorry... yeah the menu is confusing... this happens all the time." Well... here's a novel idea.. why not change your menu then?
The food was okay, a bit pricy though. Staff was nice and discounted our meal in the end after they also agreed that the menu made no sense.
