ABSOLUTE MIRACLE WORKERS!!! Stewart Mitchell and his team went out of the way to help us get our first home mortgage. We had ALL of the odds against us: 1) House shopping during COVID lockdowns 2) Tight & Competitive ' Seller's Market' in Auckland 3) Rapidly increasing interest rates 4) Both of us are self-employed (a challenge in any market) 5) We earn in overseas dollars (a massive ding in the mortgage industry) 6) We're 'old' (at least from a lending perspective, we are both in our 50's) Despite all of the evidence contrary to us getting a loan, Stewart and his entire team at Loan Market educated, guided, and gave us excellent recommendations.
