Velocity Financial were recommended to us, and I wouldn't hesitate to pass on the recommendation. Simon looked into all of the options open to us for refinancing and buying an investment property and helped us find a solution that worked really well. This was at a time when there were widespread reports of restrictions on lending, but we didn't have any problems. Simon made the whole process incredibly easy - it didn't feel like we did much more than submit a few documents - and Simon kept us in the loop at every stage of the process. I look forward to working with Simon for all of our financial needs in the future.

My Wife and I are so incredibly thankful for all of Velocity Financials help towards helping us close the deal for our new property. We could not have done it without them, as we were operating just as the housing market and lending 'peaked' and everything suddenly went crazy and got much harder. Over the years Velocity have continued to be an amazing team delivering superb customer service, and importantly, results. Both of those things are hard to come by when dealing with many businesses, so we think it is important to highlight it and show sincere thanks where it is deserved. Stress levels our end were "fairly high" it is fair to say, at the end of last year. Who has a baby, and decides to buy and sell a house just before Christmas, in this crazy market?! Our history of working together for almost a decade and your calm and steady professional and informed guidance, along with clarity on available options were what gave us the ability to make fast and informed decisions. Sincere appreciation from us both - and rest assured, we LOVE the new house.

We came to Brendon from a recommendation. This bloke could not have made it easier for us even if he tried. Super friendly, very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. We have been using Brendon and his team at Velocity Finance for our property mortgages for the past 10 years, We have just used them to arrange finance for a new business we have purchased. Brendon did a really good job. He managed the entire process from collecting the required documents to running the loan. I've been doing business with Velocity since 2014, and I can't praise them enough. Really, really great service throughout - they sorted me with a home loan at short notice in 2014, and afterwards arranged various insurance packages (including health and income security), and went the extra mile when I was injured and needed to make a claim (Thanks Simon!). All their staff have been friendly, knowledgable, and worked fast. Their ability to compare different packages from different providers and advise on what loan and insurance packages suited my family best was outstanding.

We attended a open evening seminar hosted by Simon O'Neill, with guest speakers Rochelle Forbes and Luke Havler. The seminar was thoroughly informative and we left with an increased understanding of the what is involved in the process as novice home buyers. The team were very professional and personable and have maintained contact as well as offered support and guidance.

After over 15 years with a insurance and investment broker that I hadn't seen since I signed with them, I thought that I could probably to better. I was recommended to Simon on the strength of his commitment to building great relationships with his clients. Unsurprisingly, after 15 years my partner and I are in quite a different place in terms of job and lifestyle. After listening to a brief overview of what we were looking for, Simon took the time to explain how he liked to operate, what made him tick. Understanding what motivated him and the fact that he didn't rip straight into a hard sell, was very reassuring to us and put us at ease. Simon then took the time to get a really good understanding of our history, current position, future goals and aspirations. After digesting all of that, Simon started to tailor a package that would meet our current and future needs. Checking in with us to tweak the package along the way. The package presented to us provided better cover for our immediate and mid-term needs, with the flexibility to change, at a far lower premium. It also came with the promise from Simon that we would annually review the policy to ensure it was still meeting our needs. He would check in regularly to see if we had any questions, but never applied any pressure to make a decision. Once we decided to accept , Simon went through the application process with us, taking time out to explain all the gobble-de-gook on the application in plain English. Once accepted Simon ensured that our cover was in place quickly and advised on how to cancel our existing policies. I would highly recommend Simon to anyone looking for a mortgage or insurance. While it's still early days, his commitment to fostering a healthy relationship with his clients and getting the right deal for them, instead of just chasing the money is a quality that is in short supply these days. Revealing personal details about your life, health & wealth can be daunting, as can the thought of switching insurance providers, but Simon's calm and confident manner, with a splash of humor, makes a walk in the park.

Simon was awesome and came through for us. After originally signing up to a different mortgage broker/company, we missed out on a few properties and we felt that they were not pushing the banks enough for us even though we had a pre-approval.
