Reviews of Catalina Bay Farmers Market
A.
Small but comfortable market. recommend the ice cream which has fruit ice crystals inside. Chillin suits summer. Many food options there and all seems yummy and clean. The area under cover has the famous bakery store there. Recommend taking a walk there on weekends
J.
This local market opens usually from Wed - Sun for you to pick up your fresh grown farmed produce, butcher on sight, alternative and organic options, desert and all sorts of great things to fill your fridge and pantry with.
Pop down on the weekend and you'll be engulfed with the full weekend buzz with music, more vendors and the great ocean breeze from Catalina Bay!
There is something for everyone, from your little humans to fluffy family members, and if you have dietary requirements, don't sweat as many of the vendors there have options for you to try.
Pop down on a sunny day and if it rains, you'll be in luck as the market is also an indoor venue.
Let them know I recommend you and have a great time.

I've been twice now and love the market. A great selection of stalls, food and the people are very friendly. You can spend quite a few hours here. After exploring the market there is a lovely 5k walk. Catch the ferry if you can because the trip up the harbour is really relaxing and enjoyable.
L.
Lovely little market. Great for those unusual Xmas presents. Jewellery and art pieces are beautiful. Food great. Fudge from chocolate oasis was heavenly and priced well and lots of flavours to choose from. Definitely returning as need to try a few eats from the other stores. View and walks are amazing around the bay.
H.
Amazing spot for Saturday chill. Super tasty food, cool vendors looove it!
Delicioso
R.
Awesome place for a sunday leasure walk and buy stuff. We bought strawberry 4 packs for 10 bucks. All fresh as well
T.
Cool little market place here. I attended on a Sunday for their first ever 'Dog Day's event, and was impressed with the dog suppliers who attended, plus the openness of allowing all dogs absolutely anywhere in the marketplace, including indoors 👍🏽 it's a very scenic spot to visit on a Sunday, plenty of free parking available, bustling crowd, and excellent place for taking a Sunday stroll too. Can't wait to come back and try more food options next time. Especially the Cheese!
B.
Found it to b a little hidden jem,
All the stalls were very friendly great place for coffee also and a nice walk along the water
D.
As a local ending up there as a weekend ritual is great pleasure. Taste-buds always delighted by the artisan foodie experience. Friendly locals and stall holders makes it feel like I'm visiting my family. Lot of exciting things are planned for this striving foodie market.
B.
This farmers market is in a fabulous location, by the waterfront and very close to the ferry. This is a small market however there are still some lovely stall owners. I understand that the market has recently moved down closer to the water and it looks like the old building (where it was located) might be used by team NZ because I can see the old America’ cup catamaran outside in a fenced off compound.
J.
Good place to visit, buy some goodies, have some ice cream or gelato, go for a walk. Enjoy being out and about.
m.
This market is a definite must do if you are in the Hobsonville area! Has a real community feel and there is plenty on offer here.
There is everything from meats, vegetables and fresh honey to soaps, jewellery and musical perfomances.
A great family fiendly market, great atmosphere. Really nice to take a walk around or sit and catch up with friends.
Easy to get to, there is plenty of parking, and there is the ferry service right on the doorstep of the market.
C.
Great area overall but I think the markets need to be bigger to be more attractive and vibrant. Maybe when the building work nearby is completed the markets may have a chance to expand. Not a fan of the offices/business block having taken up so much building space when they converted parts of the waterfront. It should have stayed more public focused with shops or restaurants etc.
G.
Diverse people selling both traditional produce plus some miscellaneous art and craft ware.
Good value Turkish food and tasty but smallish Italian plates.
Excellent service and value coffee/ tea and doughnut at the Siamese restaurant.
m.
The best markets in Auckland I have been to out of Takapuna Browns Bay Mt Albert Hobsonville. A massive range of stores with crafts etc. A huge variety of foods trucks and vendors especially like the cheese vendor when cortage cheese from Netherlands
J.
Would highly recommend trying Hapunan Filipino Food truck. They have an amazing and tasty foods! My most favourite are the Chicken Adobo and Patatim Pork Bao.
D.
Absolutely delicious food , interesting clothing and implements. Great meat , honey and bakery. This is a must with easy parking on the hill above the historic bay. Go soak up the atmosphere, it is fun
i.
Cute little market with fresh food~ Highly recommend the mussel fritters or the corn&cheese fritters, comes with TWO and its only $7/$8~ I was expecting a few more vege stores though.
L.
What a good spot! Could probably do with more stalls. But i imagine this place will get bigger 🤗
A.
Nice farmers market which has a decent selection of various items. I always enjoy the fried bread, and the baker's is pretty well stocked. Nice juices, fudge and a good fruit and veg stand.
P.
Very nice boutique food and craft market. Good quality products and tasty yummy food. Indoor and outdoor seating options available.
Kids and pets friendly.
A.
The coastal walkway is fantastic. Easy and interesting and at the weekend you can stop at hobsonville market for food and drinks.
I.
Small, but great selection of delicious homemade quality goods. Purchased a $8 pastry that feed two, super hearty and filling. Also got a dozen dumplings for $12, crunchy, tasty and delicious. The only complaint is that there’s not many options, however seems to be growing in size with every visit.
R.
A small, cute market with real craft and artisan food. Recommended.
J.
Such a great morning if u haven't been u must go. Lot of food to choose from, stall as well.then when you are done take the fairy to Auckland CBD. What a great day.
D.
Very nice.....but lacks scale and choice....only one supplier of every product which means no competitive price or quality.....so could only give 4 stars....but great outing and quaint.
j.
A must do for delicious produce, breads, cheeses, flowers, cakes, slices, scones, muffins, coffee, atmosphere.... I could go on! Great quick meals, healthy chooses. Live entertainment and a few stalls providing unique gift ideas. Our favourite place to go @ Hobsonville Point.
T.
What it lacks in size it more than makes up for in quality food stalls and a relaxed environment. Right on the water it also offers a nice scenic walking track to help you walk off any of the gorgeous food you no doubt will have had to try. 10/10 going back.
A.
Beauiful day out, lovely staff n food fenders.
D.
Quite some artisan food on offer but charging city prices. My burger thing was tasty but the mussel fritter lacked any real flavour. I wouldn't ever buy kombucha again I didn't like the taste and it's way too expensive - $5 for a very small cup - I can buy 2 litres of coconut water for that money.
M.
Fantastic, friendly family location. Awesome coffee, fresh fruit, veges and old skool style farm fresh milk. You must try the local burger near the butcher's...
T.
Nice relaxing bay away from the noisy city. Just a boat away from pier 4 in CBD. There is home made food, very good quality and not too expensive.
A.
Small artisan market with tasty food and a few gourmet niche condiments etc. Nice surroundings for a family walk too.
E.
Loved the atmosphere in the market. Nice place if you want to purchase gourmet foods or vegetables. Also sells snacks and finger foods.
S.
Great little market with some nice food available
t.
Awesome little food stalls. Also meat, cheese, veggies and baked goods. What more could you need?
D.
Grandfur babies love their doggy treats
L.
Quite small, you have to know where to go to get the good food. Food is good, but pretty expensive. Could be so much better with better access to the water and better views of the water and better connection to shops / houses.
I.
Markets currently not open but the restaurants and cafes doing contactless food service and takeaways.
D.
Small market but lots of food options and stalls. Cright next to thw ferry terminal which has seats and good place to sit and kids can roam.
Parking is bit weird atm some construction on site do parking but further back but had stairs that lead direct to markey
J.
Local go to. More incentive with the opening of Little Creatures. Busy in weekends. Better mid week.
G.
Small but a nice icecream stall there for reel icecream
C.
Smaller than I expected, but a good selection of stalls.
T.
Worth a visit, good selection of foods and some good views to be had.
S.
Fantastic... the walkway makes a wonderful option for way to exercise and meet people and take in the market. Wonder full hubs of music, market, parks, dogs, aviation, yachts, rowing shells and more. Check it out.
C.
Not a big market but some lovely stalls present. Nice food and coffee options along with fresh produce. Seems to vary in size, often with additional stalls but these outdoor sites seem to vary. The Sunday market knife sharpener is very good.
A.
It's been a few years since I've been here ...... Lovely place
M.
Gourmet Gannet (a bakery) located behind the markets is the highlight. Delicious sourdough breads and sweet treats to die for. The rest of the market is pretty small - lots of yummy food though.
B.
While they are building the new appts I would give it a swerve. No parking, lights controlled entry it must be a nightmare for hospo outlets. You will need to park and walk so elderly folk will find it a challenge.
C.
Great place to relax, good food and coffee, looking over the water. They should utilize the building better for weekends, ie open up yoga area to stalls.
N.
Good Coffee and Pastry.
Good Farm produce such as Full Cream Milk, Honey
J.
I came on the "opening gala", decent selection of food available, small little farmers market right by the water. Great for dogs.
C.
Loved the market. The original plan was a quick pop in, but we ended up with dinner from Vege Pulse while listening to music, then bought some Xmas gifts. Perfect way to unwind....
M.
Great place but disabled access restricted.
K.
A bit over rated@ 1040 not much take away food
a.
Such a nice vibe and great water front location. Lots nice walks and cafes to make a day of it.
R.
Love, love, love this market. Dog friendly and awesome selection of breakfast options. Get some fresh produce while you're there. Take a walk in the stunning surroundings after brekkie.
L.
Very pretty area next to the water. Artisan market lovely to walk around, good food, especially the handmade italian food who used rock salt and cut fresh herbs for seasoning. Yummy!
A.
It is nice small farmers market
Good coffee and snacks
W.
Came here with my SO. It was their 10 years anniversary, so there was a lot of stores than normal. Tried a lot of food. It was very delicious and we had a good time. It is nice to be able to support the locals and their small business.
D.
New restaurant lots of people always good for the weekend. Bring a thick wallet.
D.
Really great street good and coffee - what’s not to like?!
Е.
Love the place, great location by marina, good food and stalls and not too crowded in the mornings
J.
Great Market! Has awesome fruit and vegetables, great butcher, fantastic honey, our dogs favourite treats, and the kids favourite cup cakes. All stall holders are friendly and very welcoming. Is dog friendly and there are always plenty of dogs walking around (on leash of course). Well worth the visit.
W.
Awesome meeting place great variety of breweries and food
C.
Great little market. Very popular on the weekends. Dog friendly ( the pet treat store is part of my dogs' routine,🙂). Parking can be tricky, but it's on the coastal walk, so if you don't mind a walk there's no problem.
A.
Love to pop in here on the weekends with the kids. Beautiful cheeses! Just wish the ferry would run on the weekend 😔
T.
So many lovely food and drink options, as well as diverse craft stalls set in a lively, fun atmosphere with a beautiful view of the water. Great to grab a coffee and walk along the boardwalk with family, friends and dogs.
M.
Small (artisan) market so be prepared to see (and pay) extra for the food & drinks. Lots of street parking. Very dog friendly but please make sure you pick up after your pets!
N.
Very relaxing wandering around the lovely stalls. Would be good to see a few more outside but being Easter not sure if they usually have more. Fantastic location for 'Fabric' cafe & bistro right by the water as well as 'The Hangar' for a variety of great eating places.
A.
The farmer's market isn't large, but it's good quality and interesting. The environment is dog friendly and inviting in general. The new boardwalk is awesome, even though it doesn't go anywhere yet. We brought our bikes to ride along it, but that wasn't really appreciate with the number of people walking along. The kids had fun dipping their feet into the water.
H.
Very clean place, but only few stands and not cheap.
A.
For the first time in a long time I was a little underwhelmed by my experience. Maybe it's was just because of the high standards previously experienced but my visit today had less vendors. Most of the places here are top notch especially the Italian Frittalli Bread and vegan ice-creams. Location is spectacular especially if the sun is shining and the tide is in.
K.
Smaller than usual. Friendly although a bit small now
B.
This is a fabulous little market that runs Fri through to Sun. Some great vendors, good variety of yummy food choices.
T.
An experience not to be missed on a sunny weekend! The new Coastal Walkway is a great outdoor experience, start early then visit the farmer's market for great food and drink. Yes the items are slightly pricey $$ but the quality and variety of choice is amazing. The people are so nice and its a great morning / afternoon out with the kids. Heaps to keep them engaged and there's ice cream too!
M.
Wow what a stunning new place being developed.. Definitely a must ...The food market is amazing...You can enjoy beautiful tasty yummy food here.Plus take scrumptious cheese and Salmon.. Salami's. Breads. Amazing Seed Crackers .. away with you. Can't wait to go back again and again and again.👍🧡💥🦋
R.
This is where we always spend the weekend morning. Shopping for some fresh supplies, coffee / brunch at Fabric Cafe, and walk around the waterfront along the coastal walkway. It makes our life in Auckland so perfect every week.
N.
Popped in today just for the fruit smoothies. They were delicious Summer is coming!! Great atmosphere and vibe. The man playing the guitar and singing was amazing and he was so wonderful to everyone walking by. His kind nature and beautiful singing kept us there for ages. Market is a work in progress but would highly recommend just for the atmosphere.
S.
Loving the ambience in this market, interesting food and crafts offered, would be even better if they have more variants of stalls. Will definitely come back here
N.
Small boutique and artisan markets. Has a good range like veges and meat along with a few treats too. Dog friendly also with some great stalls and eating options outside.
C.
Very nice place, has all the facilities required. Staff are nice enough and served me well. I especially enjoyed the flirty female working when i came in. I enjoyed the place thoroughly and the services provided. Im unsure however weather i would come here i was suffering from any variation of hepatitis the vibe of the place also felt specially threatening to hepatitis A. Im unsure weather they would allow you to bring in an animal however big it may be. I would like to emphasize that i strongly feel hep A is not welcomed here.
C.
The brunch tables with music are great. The fish guy is amazing,. Cancel that as the fish guy left and they closed the brunch area and put in a Zumba studio instead. The sellers are nice put it looks like the landlord is all about the money.
K.
It looks like a good place with lots of organic wares on sale but lacks good food especially breakfast and coffee. The coffee places are quite busy so anticipate a wait. They however have a good selection of fresh fruit and baked goods.
R.
Fantastic atmosphere we had fish and chicken out meal was perfectly cooked with a bottle of chardonnay it was a pleasant night. If you have a taste of fine dining please try Fabric coffee you won't be disappointed.
A.
Clean and not crowdy market. Not many stands though. Good selection of flowers, cheese and candles. Plenty of parking space. I like the fact that you are right next to the sea. Also they have live music and is very good. Last time it was a saxophonist from the USA. Coffee was good $4.50 medium soy flatwhite.
L.
Excellent little market with healthy eating options, fruit and veges, artisan cheeses and meats, coffee, deli style foods, some arts and crafts. Two cafe/restaurant locations nearby. Right by the water. Nice weekend destination. I only deducted a point as the market is a little on the small side.
S.
Super fresh and friendly atmosphere with a great variety of things. Extra awesome that there's always so many doggos! Such a great space, with awesome vibes. Products are always top notch. Definitely worth checking out to support locals
T.
Imaginative development of a seaplane airbase with an excellent farmers market
V.
This is such a lovely spot. You can buy artisan bread, cheeses, etc at the market. There are some lovely interesting food stalls. Check which days the market is open. Walk the boardwalk. This is really interesting and a beautiful walk.
A.
Situated out west next to a lot of farms means Catalina Bay farmers Market has lots of potential to have great local food. Like smoothies with the abundant real strawberries farmed nearby. We ordered a berry ice cream, and mixed berry milk shake. The milk shake was better. As of writing (April'18) its not very big yet. But you can bet this place will be huge one day.
M.
A wonderful market to visit on the weekend. Close to the Hobsonville walkway, with plenty of space outdoors to sit with that coffee, freshly prepared food and take in the beautiful vista of water and landscape...plan to stay a while and let the kids go for it on their bikes.. Loved the mussel fritters. As good as the ones they serve in Thames and the Coromandel.
j.
Inside has shrunk but it's still a lovely market. A few new (to me) stalls outside. Stunning harbour edge views.
M.
I went once and won't be going back but not because there was anything 'wrong' with it, just didn't meet my expectations of a true farmers market despite the authentication from FMNZ. Had expected more produce less prepared and take away food. Lovely place to go for lunch?
E.
Great farmers market. Good selection of products and ready to eat options. Fresh produce, bread, cheese, honey, salamis, as well as good coffee, doughnuts and sweet treats to die for and lots more. Check it out. Go on a Friday to get in before the weekend rush.
D.
Far smaller than expected and more boutique stalls than a farmers market in my opinion. I said to my wife if we had visitors from out of town this would not be worth the trip. Photos show once it may have been bigger. Clearly others rate it highly but I'm disappointed in scale. Visited mid winter.
J.
Good variety of stalls. Friendly vendors. EFTPOS available. Live music playing. Beautiful location with potential to be even better. Can be accessed by ferry or bus as well as car, bike or on foot. Dog friendly. Great coffee.
R.
Excellent selection of stalls with good quality food and snacks. Perfect for a weekend stroll through the market. Great setting at the water and often has live music.
L.
I am a regular at the markets and love what's on offer. Super fresh, well crafted food and items for your home. All of the highest quality, its hard to not go home with a full basket and an empty wallet.
J.
Great farmers market, it almost has a soul. Fresh fruit and vegetables, ice cream with real fruit and honey. Olives, olive oil and turkish bread. Sausages, bakery with sweet and savory. Real fruit juices. And coffee and tea. Essential oils are available as well. Dog friendly market that offers cupcakes for dogs too
D.
Be good if it were a bit bigger and more fresh produce . I am not a local of the area , so probably wouldn’t go again for a while .
I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here but I guess its targeted at the locals .
Bought some delicious pastries and bread and coffee from spaceman ( I think it was) . The stall holders were all friendly even though I was mainly browsing .
J.
Our favorable place to spend Sat or Sun early afternoon, those guys and ladies are so friendly especial those in the food section. The Italian bread lady Mila, the fish chowder guy Mick, the Asian steam dim sum lady Jane, the bagel guy, the coffee ladies, the butcher lady, the Asian bread and the European bread are both good, of course our favorite cheese corner. Those on the outside, the Philippine stall, the roast beef stove and the occasional beer stall. It has the local talents singing and playing their own music which is something you should never miss
A.
Great vibe, coffee and food 👌
L.
The range of stuff they have is unbelievable, the people that attend it are so nice.
A.
Lovely atmosphere, great products. Perfect way to spend a morning.
S.
Very nice little farmers market, surrounded by little creatures brewery and fabric cafe, so nice and relaxing!
B.
A very small farmers market - I was expecting it to be in the hangar with the large Farmer Market banner, but instead it is located in the small building attached. The stall count may only be about 10+ catering to pets and humans. The fried bread is delicious, as it is served hot with your choice of toppings. Pets are allowed inside as long as they are under control.
P.
enjoyed a lovely coffee and pastry
T.
Beautiful outlook - great food and drink
R.
Great vibe. Parking can sometimes be a mission on a nice day, but locals are great and stall holders are super friendly. Great place to take the kids out and about around Hobsonville and finish with some treats.
T.
It's a market by a wharf, very picturesque. Kind of exclusive products, sonits an upmarket. In the summer I bet this place is humming, we went in winter for a wee wander around, it was busy but not overly so. Parking is easy.
D.
Great little market, well laid out with some really good artisan stalls, right next to several places to eat and drink and only a short walk to bomb point with a very pleasant easy walk or cycle, well worth a visit
S.
Wonderful market where you can buy your weekly organic meat, fish and veggies. Also a delicious lunch, our favourites beinf the spicy sausage hotdogs, dumplings, hot smoked salmon bagel or a corn fritter! Don't forget the real fruit ice cream.
B.
Was so nice and not too crowded and loved that they were all local people
J.
Will go sometime most Weekends, Ferry from Beach Haven and back, 2k walk each to the Beach Haven Ferry from home does me good to. Makes the indulgence a ok
A.
Love this market. Must checkout: Beef Brisket Buns.
S.
LOVE this foodie Market! Used to have more stalls but I believe they are expanding indoors??? Look foward to watching it grow. Boardwalk is a lovely stroll. Go early.
J.
The knife guy is amazing. Worst visit for that alone. But the rest is pretty quaint. Small markets but neat
M.
Great vibe, great food
L.
Always enjoy going here. Nice upgrade from the previous building. Plus you can always do a walk along the waterfront to make a bit more room for buying more at the markets.
m.
A small farmers market with very tasty gourmet foods. The Stewart island smoked salmon was sensational. The prices are typically higher than mainstream and the splendidly located site will be much better when all the construction is completed.
C.
Lovely pm out- fabulous to have the ferry from Beach Haven now. Great walk around the area and wonderful produce of all varieties in the small but very adequate market 🙂
A.
Visited this fantastic market as happened to be in the area, and now I'm hooked! Although small - there are some top quality stallholders. So far have tried the amazing cupcakes and cake from Milly Vanilla; incredible ground coffee from Spaceman Coffee; to die for feta and spinach brioche, plus hot cross buns from Gourmet Gannet; mesmerising kombucha from Kosmic Kombucha.
All stallholders I've dealt with have been so nice and patient at answering my questions.
J.
Great mix of regular stalls and specialists. Brilliant for breakfast, brunch or lunch.
R.
Friendly community and a supportive crew to help..! Good experience..! A must visit
S.
Friendly small market with an array of local and a few out of town products. Love the Martinborough oilive oils
p.
A must visit. Great market for cheeses and other delicacies. Friendly vibrant place on the weekends. Great 5 km boardwalk around the bay.
S.
Nice area to stroll around with pets and children, playground close by and boardwalk around the bay from the pier. Enjoy the fresh produce, reasonably priced.
J.
There was no farmers market we were just checking out the new cafe. Very nice setting but food wasn't anything special considering the price ie pricey.
T.
Beautiful location some great shops and cafe good coffee and food
J.
Market a little small, could do with a few more stalls.
A big thank you to the lady at the chorizo stall- the paella we made was amazing because of the flavourful chorizo!
N.
A great vibe and a lovely relaxed environment to walk off lunch in. Excellent Farmers Market, Pub. Restaurants etc. Plenty of variety. A good day out North West.
N.
Good food,good people 👏
T.
The market is small. But there is a nice board walk along side the sea. Very good for kid to spend sometime outdoors.
L.
It's a bit samey...would be great to have some new and different stallholders. Worth a visit just for the paella guy though....big servings and really delicious.
P.
A bit hard to find. Food was very nice, there were a number of mistakes with the coffe. Great location and a lovely little market just around the corner
B.
awesome to go on Sunday morning drive foods are great and lots of things to see
L.
With the ever changing landscape at Hobsonville Point, the farmers market has changed quite a lot as well. It's now more like the Parnell market, smaller and more high end. It's not as rustic and interesting as it used to be
K.
Great place to take dog for walk. Outside cafe seating. Great playground for kids. Several places to walk. Farmers market Saturday and Sunday. Very friendly people.
C.
Very small market with interesting and high quality products , but not a true farmers produce market. Not a place to go for your weekly veges.
D.
Called in here today with the Ara Te Manawa walkway gala day opening Sunday 18 November 2018. Havent been to this market for 6 years, Earthbound are still there - love that store.
N.
Good market's for a nice day, they are quite small but they have some amazing food, lots of samples to try out! Also lots of parking.
C.
Not very many stalls and not, strictly speaking, a farmer's market. There are, however, a variety of high quality offerings.
T.
Had the bestest Chelsea bun at the Cafe out the back of the market. OMG sooo good!
R.
Location view from, rather neat brewery. Handy to town via ferry if you choose.
A.
Absolutely love Catalina Bay Farmers Market! Great vibe, live music, amazing food and beverages... What more could you ask for?
R.
Loved it great day, bit expensive but you got to take that into account concidering location and eco products
S.
Does not sell much fruit or veg , or things you would expect at a farmers market. There are not many stalls , although the ones there are high quality organic produce .
P.
Loved our visit there, got some very cool yummies
S.
Really cute market with lots of yummy foods and speciality goods. A little bit of fruit and veg too. The seaside location makes it a fun morning out.
R.
Must go back to The Hanger one day. What a fine place to relax and enjoy some fine food and craft beers while viewing Hobsonville ferry port.
C.
A great local market handy to Auckland with fresh fruit, verges, eggs and artisan products. Good for coffee with a harbour view.
A.
Overrated place. One fruit and veggie stall, lots of dog's stuff, even a photographer for pets... handful of food stalls and that's it. Apart from good views of harbour nothing is enjoyable.
O.
Went for some vegetables shopping, the range that was offered was poor and very expensive. There are some nice snacks and coffee to take away for the walkway outside, otherwise very poor and average market.
M.
Lovely big covered market. Interesting stuff from French to Japanese and Colombia food. Sometimes craft market right next to it. Good spot by the water.
J.
The location on its own is amazing, but the market is great and we love it as it’s not huge, has a bit of everything, the people are really nice, and the food is really good!
M.
The market offer a variety of products and food for all tastes.
Not to mention that market's location is closer to the new Hobsonville coastal walkway, which is an added adventure!
S.
My favourite markets around and in the best setting. Lots of really good quality food and stalls. Predominantly a food market though.
S.
Under cover from sun or rain. A small market, but good food and easy to get to and get out off. Very handy to the many new homes at Hobsonville Point.
V.
Farmers market on weekends is good for families with little kids and pets. New hangar restaurant is nice but food is pricey.
P.
Markets are smaller than they used to be but with permanent stalls. Great quality, will be good to see it expand as the new development continues.
M.
I love hitting the mArkets round Aucks, this one ain't too bad..Heaps of locally grown fruit and produce, Honey, home made cookies and cakes, pickles and preservatives like nana use to make.minimal bric-a-brac.but,a nice friendly atmosphere to be enjoyed..Not too big so you can't get lost, not much parking space either.the mussel fritters and banana chocolate crepe are a fAvourite of mine here.
J.
Small but great people and atmosphere. Would make a great weekly shop for some quality deli ingredients for people living near Hobson Point
K.
This is a very small market. Maybe 10-stalls total. It was nice, but would not have made the trip while visit if I realized how small it was.
J.
Awesome little Farmers market situated on the water front. Heaps of parking. Awesome selection of local and national fresh and prepared produce.
J.
Awesome food awesome. Location love it. The ice cream is great overall it a very well done market
Y.
Perfect place to have morning coffee and pastry with your doggie. Selling best dog treat at the corner,
E.
Very nice and tidy.. The whole place very stunning even the Hangar we stop there for quick beer it so nice and very funky..
N.
Excellent food choices really lovely spot
R.
I wasnt there on market day however the facolities look very good plenty of parking and great location I have heard very good things about this market and will be back on market day to explore
M.
Not much to offer! Paella was good. Its a bit boring. Im expecting a bit more selection of produce and baked goods.
N.
Had a coffee and Turkish food. Great vibe and community. Still a 'work in progress' but promises to becomea great boutique community market.
M.
The market has shrunk considerably from the start and it now features a smaller number of stalls that are selling more expensive items.
K.
Awesome selection of fresh meat and vegetables, breads, cheeses, etc. Great place to have breakfast and go for a walk.
G.
A great place to visit. Lots of great food and beverage stalls and being close to the water it has a beautiful atmosphere
c.
We love to come here for the weekend. Loved it
N.
Awesome market- delish food. Love the atmosphere. Such a nice area to visit!!!
H.
Love it. Excellent food, good grocery and great meat stall! Highly recommended! New buildings are awesome.
N.
Great atmosphere. Perfect location for a family outing. Great some food and then relax on the bean bags on the ferry walkway
J.
Very cool place to go and browse around.
we bought some really good cheese.
D.
I liked the concept. But needs more variety of food outlets.
J.
Small but good selection of very fresh produce. Lovely setting great boardwalk and good parking
