F.Good place to stop for fresh berries or a real fruit ice cream.
Plenty of outdoor seating to soak up the sunshine, or find a spot under an umbrella.
Dogs are welcome on a leash.

M.The beautiful place has a lovely staff, and it is dog-friendly! It is not five stars because, in my opinion, they should be more informative about the blueberry orchard and also have more sugar-free options. The ice cream looks fantastic, but all of them are with sugar. Their blueberries are delicious but a bit expensive in my opinion. Thanks anyway for a lovely afternoon there.
B.I loved the place, the staff is very friendly, and it’s dog friendly, which adds significant value. To be perfect, I would suggest healthier ice cream alternatives without sugar, such as options with sweeteners.
K.We have been here several times over the last few years and it doesn't disappoint. They have the most delicious ice cream made from fresh fruit while you sit and wait in their lovely outdoor space. They make delicious blueberry jam and chutney, and also have fresh blueberries for sale. They also have their caravan at the Packhouse Market on Saturday mornings. Definitely worth a visit.

I.Really peaceful and cosy setup of benches and tables in the orchard surrounded by flowers. Mixed berry and blueberry flavours available in ice cream which were both yum!

I.Take a short stop and buy blueberry ice-cream there, you won't regret. Do not ask for more serious food (you won't find any) but the ice-cream is divine. So tasty! Be ready for a short section of a gravel road though.

B.Its worth taking the turn off the main road to pay a visit to Blue river orchard. This blueberry farm has farm sales of fresh berries alongside their absolutely delicious made to order blueberry ice cream.
Grab yourself a cone and a coffee and head to the garden to sit amongst the buzzy bees and tranquility of New Zealand's northland.
The store accepts cards but our overseas one did not work, so we had to scrounge up the cash from between the seats of our car and came up a little short, not that the the owner minded and let us of with a smile and a wave.
