Really appreciated the service from John and Haley, who stock an incredible range of vintage Danish furniture. Worth just popping into the shop for a browse. He was super helpful and friendly, and delivered on the day of purchase. Thanks John, we love our new table and chairs!

I bought a set of dining chairs and they were beautiful and excellent condition (even though they are 60 yrs old!!!). Fantastic customer service and fast delivery. Chairs were well wrapped in blanket. I am more than pleased!!! Highly recommended!

Haley and John at The Vintage Shop are a superb team! Their love of Vintage Furniture shines through everything they do. The furniture range is awesome and John knows all about each piece. He happily answered by long list of questions and helped me select really special pieces for our home. Haley handled all the logistics of shipping them to us and followed up to make sure everything arrived on time and in beautiful condition. Nothing is too much trouble for this duo!

I recently purchased a beautiful mid century sofa online from The Vintage Shop. The service was amazing, right from my first enquiry about the sofa to its delivery from Auckland to Whanganui within a week. I recently purchased a sideboard from John and Haley after a few visits to their fantastic warehouse. Once I found the piece I was interested in, John provided an excellent service, great communication and delivery that worked for both parties. I'll definitely look to purchase from the Vintage Shop in the future.

Rapt with our Vamo Mobelfabrik teak dining chairs. We've had our eye out for the right suite for about 3 years. We really appreciated the great communication back and forth with John and Haley who were prompt, helpful and informed. The chairs arrived with Conroys in really good time and John generously included a bottle of the wax he recommends, so we can keep them looking ship shape.

The Vintage Shop has a great range of genuine mid century furniture directly imported from Denmark. John and Haley are great to deal with and really know their market. Their service and communication is excellent, I would highly recommend a visit to the showroom space. Shipping out of town was no problem. I will definitely be a return customer!

This is the real deal when it comes to mid-century designer Danish furniture. We recently purchased an eight-place-setting dining table and chairs and it looks stunning!! We're now saving for a sideboard and tallboy. Unlike modern furniture, these are timeless investment pieces to last a lifetime. Really enjoy visiting the warehouse, very organised and John (the lovely owner) has good knowledge of his furniture and the care and maintenance of owning mid century furniture. The owners of this store John & Haley really know their product and I would say they have the best mid century furniture in the country. I purchased a few pieces from the old store and recently I visited their Morningside warehouse and was blown away. Well done with the upgrade in premesis it all looks amazing! This is a true asset to New Zealand. If you haven't been to see the store yet I suggest you do.

I have been a mid century collector for a while now and most of my 'forever' pieces that I have purchased have been from the guys at The Vintage Shop. They have a great eye for quality and the new warehouse at 21 Morningside Drive is a candy store for adults. Lovely light filled space and always a pleasure checking out the stock and having a good chat. Highly recommend this store and love the service they provide for the country.

We've bought a couple of pieces from The Vintage Shop in the last 6 months for our new house and I'd love the excuse to go back and get more! They have such a great eye and the store is full of such stylish furniture it's a pleasure to visit. It's all in lovely condition and the pieces that have been restored are sympathetically done and don't look like they've been touched which I always think is how it should be done. Whole-heartedly recommend them to everyone!
