Andre could not have been more helpful. While considering a couch/ottoman combo up in Auckland, only the Wellington store had both. Andre kindly got photos so I could see them together. Now I can buy them without worrying for months they won’t work! Thanks again Andre!

Freedom Wellington is excellent. To sum up they have a great range of beautiful products, a well-designed physical store and amazing customer service. For more detail I can go through my experience with them. I was looking for a couch for my new place. It needed to look great and feel great. I also wanted to purchase in Wellington from a physical store so I could demo the couch. I visited every store in the region and was frustrated to not sit on anything that fit my description. I went to Freedom Wellington last and was completely surprised to find 2 possible couch options at incredibly competitive price points. Suddenly my challenge went from not being able to find one couch to picking between 2. The customer service was excellent. I ended up returning to Freedom SEVERAL times trying to determine which was the couch for me. In total 3-4 different salespeople served me and they were all great. They did not make me feel bad for repeatedly coming in and not purchasing anything. They were incredibly helpful with product information. When I purchased the couch they were completely transparent about how long it would take to deliver the couch and they were bang on with the ETA (It may have even been a couple of weeks early which was a bonus). Every time I came into the store they gave me a friendly nod as if to say that they remembered me and I felt most welcome. I also think the physical store itself is the best looking furniture store in Wellington. Previously, I liked going into Nood because they stage their couches in a way that makes it easy to envision their products in your house. Freedom felt like a bigger version of that and I was surprised that I hadn't gone to Freedom more often in the past. Freedom Wellington is now my first store I go to for homeware needs/inspiration. I have also bought other products from them since this initial purchase and my experience with them has been consistent, if not easier. Free parking is also a huge bonus when shopping in the CBD. I completely love all the products I have bought from here and my experience with Freedom Wellington has been amazing. Great job team! See you again soon!

Over the last few months I’ve purchased a number of items from the Thorndon Freedom store, each time I’ve dealt with the very helpful and informative Drew. Every time he has gone the extra mile so that I end up with the best product for me, showing me other options which I’ve ended up purchasing and loving. If you’re in the store ask for Drew he’s awesome, doesn’t make promises he can’t keep and keeps you informed along the way - definitely going above and beyond!

I had an amazing experience in purchasing a new sofa and bed frame from Freedom. Drew was incredible in helping organise the delivery of our furniture and pulled out all the stops to ensure we got it all as quickly as possible despite Covid related hold-ups with international suppliers. He remained in contact even after the purchase to update us on the delivery timeframe and absolutely went above and beyond. I'll certainly be back for our future furniture and homewares purchases!

I would like to say their delivery service are really good. purchased a sofa bed, takes only 1 week to arrive. They message me to arrange a delivery time and send to my 1st floor apartment. the door way was a bit narrow, while their staffs are really helpful, tried and lifted the sofabed upstairs for me. Thank you very much indeed!

Amazing service and very friendly and understanding staff. Brought a massive mirror from this store, went home and realised it was damaged. Went back to the store and they were more than happy to replace it. Asked if we could open the box and inspect the new mirror first which they were more than happy too. The storeperson and the staff needs a raise! Thanks guys

There is one lady staff I MUST commend with thanks! I went into the store to buy a pair of lamps and needed them packed for air travel for a dear friend abroad. Charmion understood my request and went out of her way to help me find a box to fit both the lamps together, she helped me tape everything securely and even added the relevant stickers for my package. I cannot thank her enough for her efforts and her warm smiles while I make my purchase. Thank you Charmion, you made my day!

Sometimes the quality of Freedom's products doesn't last long (e.g. less than a year) and at this particular store I've experienced a few less than pleasant staff members

Thanks to the block, my favourite furniture shop for something different. Some prices quite reasonable but also has some high end stuff.

Great place for affordable furniture, wide ranging products and open 7 days, ample parking, friendly and attentive staff.

Great service! We had some issues with a couch that was 3yrs old, and they replaced it, and picked up and dropped off the new one!

Lovely furniture etc. No assistance offered but we didn't ask for it either.

Pretty tasteful furniture, pricing is reasonable if you buy on sale

Shop seemed a little muddled this visit, there seemed to be a sale area on both levels, and the other areas seemed a little tired. I think this store needs a shake up!
